    the car looks fast AF. but there is something to what you said about the rear end being nervous on entry. im not a professional, im just a dude who like to analyze things online and what i can see is that the car might benefit from a stiffer swaybar in the front to combat the nervousness under breaking. this in itself will however enhance another problem you might have that i noticed, wich is understeer mid corner and oversteer on exits. these two problems seem to be the symptoms of the first problem, understeer mid corner. the oversteer comes from trying to still rotate the car and having too much steering lock when going on to the gas on exits. to fix this, softening the front suspention a little might be the right thing to do, if you want to induce a little more front end grip to rotate the car more so that you can unwind the wheel earlier and not oversteer when driving out of the corners.
    with all this said, the owner might not want to do any of this. that is depending on his drivingstyle and if the car is setup for other faster tracks where downforce is more of a factor.

    Fellow F87 M2C owner here 👋🏽
    On your personal F87, have you played with coding the rear differential for F80/F82, or other F8X variants, assuming you have the stock diff still? I heard that the diff lock controls are more suited toward "track driving" vs "fun" on say the GTS coding. Completely anecdotal, internet feedback but curious.

      I can’t seem to find anything online that tells me what the differential tuning actually does. There’s some people that say it helps with ‘take off’ or that they ‘really felt it work on a roundabout’ but no one that has given a proper track review.
      The bmw ELSD takes into account information from wheel speed sensors, yaw sensors, throttle and steering to determine how much it locks up. Sometimes it can be a bit unpredictable or inconsistent but I’m very happy with it as a stock diff. It’s open on deceleration and coast which makes it incredibly free on entry and although it can lock up abruptly at times... it’s very strong. I feel no need to flash it, especially to something that’s technically older and perhaps, meant for a longer wheel base (M4).
      I do actually have a Drexler LSD going into the car, but that will be a winter project... stay tuned!!

    Nice video. I’ve just bought an OG M2 to build into a club sport spec. Coming from an 86 where it’s all about momentum, I think I’d appreciate the all square setup.
    Is it possible to share what rim width and offsets the M2 is running?

    Nice, I gotta ask how is your GoPro mounted as the angle is perfect. Is it in your vision at all while driving?

      Message us on instagram. I can send you a photo of how I have it mounted.

    What’s the exhaust setup on this? Just the throaty noise of the S55 without nasty rasp that a lot of the loud setups have. Also how are you recording it?

    I imagine that the aero doesn't add much on a low speed track like this one. The car needs 295 square. Just my 2 cents as an F80 weekend warrior. Enjoy

      @DriversPaddock  20 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      Agreed! It’s a lot of work to fit 295 in the front unlike the m3/m4. M2C needs wider front fenders or adjustable front arms to shorten the track width slightly. Personally, I run 275/295 staggered. Thanks for watching!
