Hey CJU! Thank you so much for taking your time playing the game. It was an incredible video with spot on commentary. I fully understand that it must be hard to bring something interesting to the table, when the game itself is pretty slow! But yet you kept knowing exactly what to do and it was a beautiful display to watch. Im so happy that you found almost all the context clues for the puzzles and were able to figure them out in not a too long time. Videos like these are absolutely wonderful because it gives us devs more feedback than the verbal kind ever will. So thank you, again, for doing this. Im glad you liked it! And depending on how it goes, I have a few plans for this antagonist in the future! Thanks for being part of his creation.
Hey I really enjoyed the game. I think the concept was very unique and interesting so were your goals of collecting the paintings. I liked how the puzzles are pretty unique as well. My only criticism is that you cannot interact with the vast majority of the environment which makes the game come off as unfinished. You can't open every cabinet and every drawer I can't pick up random objects. And that really just breaks the immersion when I cannot interact with the environment or look at random items closely. So my only suggestion is to allow more interaction with the environment. But I know you only made the game in 2 weeks which is just super impressive. So for the fact that you did all this in 2 weeks I really think you're a great dev and if you just would have had a little more time for the game jam I think this game would have been really polished and really professional. Also idk of you would ever consider doing a game about the Huldra. It's a swedish Legend about a spirit or fairy that lives in the woods and is an incredibly beautiful woman and she lures you further and further into the woods until your entirely lost. Some say she kills you, some say she turns you into a tree, some say she eats you, some say she just disappears and you die alone and lost in the woods. But I've never seen a game about her and I feel like you could really do something like that Justice.
A horror game without jumpscares, relying entirely on atmosphere and psychological tension? Hell yes! And kudos on your puzzle solving skills, you're proving to be an absolute pro, as usual. I like this one quite a bit!
If people in horror stories were rational then we’d have very very very few horror stories. Also the person in this game didn’t just go in out of curiosity. Did you watch the full video?
I was blown away when i noticed the monstera at 16:19. The fact that they had 2 weeks and still took the time to make realistically detailed, readily identifiable plants really does it for me.
The times definitely had to be on specific clocks, you just got it right the first time. The note in the attic said "from the kitchen I could hear their screams", implying the time you find through the note goes to the kitchen clock. Very subtle hints, but I dig it.
This was absolutely brilliant, especially for a game made in 2 weeks! I really hope the dev is just getting started, and makes more games in the future.
Just wanted to pop in and thank you for this delightful video! I wrote the music, did the sound effects, and also did the voice acting for this game. Thank you for this playthrough!
I loved your voice acting! I got literal chills down my back at the end speech right before the big reveal (also with the comment about games being another form of art). Great job!
Can confirm - am gushing. That was great!!! 2 week jam?!?!?! Surely they polished it after that time. Voice acting, polish of the map, the thoughtfulness of each scenario??? Wonderful! AND FREE? Hope this team sticks around for another one. Next time, with a well-deserved price tag for their work!
Oh that twist was gooood! It really gives a "reasonable" explanation to the always irrational actions of horror protagonists. Why would you know the house was there? Why would you go in? Why would you just not run etc. Things that often happen as a way to serve the story's needs have a realistic reason to happen here. He knew exactly where he was, and wanted to be there, and do those things. Brilliant! I'm actually curious what would happen if you tried to leave now. Seems like a huge risk to take, unless he has some fail safe way in place to make sure no one leaves. Would he just pop out of the house and shoot them? The way he has set this up, he might not even be there when this is going down. I didn't see any cameras for him to be watching his victim. On the other hand, I do enjoy the idea that this will all go terribly wrong and he's gonna have the cops on him within half an hour. Ahaha.
This is one of the brilliant indie horror games, absolutely! Those puzzles, even if its not a new, are still mindblowing. The downside part of this game is just there are minor to zero threats (I had wish you are chasing by monsters, ghosts, the serial killer or even any living skeletons!) but the atmosphere... geez it's haunting! Good game as always Chris.
In my opinion , ManlyBadassHero is also fun to listen to some times. I forget who else is actually enjoyable to listen to but there's at least a few "no comentary" channels I enjoy.
This was put together in (about) two weeks!?! Wow, that is impressive! This was awesome! Loved the puzzles, the premise, the look of it, the sounds. And yes, the twist is the cherry on top. Well done, devs! I do agree that maybe a couple jumpscares, or something to build tension, would make it more fun, however, it's still pretty damned perfect as is. I wonder what would happen if you tried to leave at the beginning, or even sometime during a later part of the game.
I actually like the fact there were no jump scares in this game. When the music changed and the atmosphere got tense it made you expect something dramatic to happen, jump scare, big revelation, something. But it just keeps you on the edge of your seat relentlessly with the constant atmospheric changes that altered the feel of the game with minimal change.
I was blown away by this! I enjoyed it immensely from beginning to end, for the story, the gameplay, the puzzles, the atmosphere, and, of course, your commentary. God, that twist was top-tier! So unexpected. Major kudos to the dev!
The edit in the beginning when you talked about the puzzles being difficult was unexpectedly amazing. In the part where you have to move the corpse statues I could only think how the character managed to touch them several times without disgust or distress. And I would like this game to be bigger or have a bigger sequel.
Gob-smackingly great-the voice acting was awesome, the twist unseen. Great use of music, no music 'stings' or use of loud sound/jump scares to force a reaction. Def worth money and I hope the devs do other games-this was above the norm by far. Twisted storyline-well written voice scripts...just awesome.
This was a FANTASTIC game! It kept me on my feet the entire time, and while I knew we were *probably* safe from monsters or creatures, I wasn never sure until the end. I can't wait to see more from this developer and I can't wait to watch you play, CJ!
I had a feeling the player character was a bit twisted with how comfortable they apparently were spinning corpses around, but that was still pretty unexpected at the end.
Never would've guessed that ending. Human beings truly are the true monsters or can be; one never knows what a person is thinking. Excellent short game! 👍🏻😊
Chefs kiss for this absolute diamond of a game💎 2 weeks incredible work from the devs👏🏻 I hope they do more soon 🤞🏻 Cju a pleasure to watch as always 🤩😎
These puzzles were so amazing! I loved everything about this game and that twist? Beyond brilliant I'm impressed! Thank you for playing this and taking us on that amazing journey!!! 👏
That was a pretty great start from the end! did not feel cheap at all and the puzzles really felt personal rather then just a obstacle waiting to be solved to progress, really looking forward to finding out more about the antagonist in the next game (PS voice actor sounds familiar to me, forgot the name but the game but is where you are stalked by a killer in a house that kidnapped you? and you play as a child)
I'd like to learn more about the serial killer who had set this whole thing up! He seems like an interesting character and the creators really got his 'extremely full of himself psychopathic serial killer personality' down. Really fun game- even just watching you play it!
This was an absolutely intriguing game!! I agree with the feedback about it not being as “scary” as it could’ve been. Adding some more well placed sound effects and jump scares would have just added to the great gameplay!
A very interesting game. Puzzles make sense and the music served it beautifully. The voice from the speaker could have been less articulating maybe? But it doesn't bother the whole theme much Thanks for playing.
A light is on in a house that doesn't belong to me? Welp, time to go bother some strangers in the middle of the night for no reason! - the main character, I guess
With regards to the clock puzzles, it seems that there are locations hinted about in the notes that you've picked up. With 50:09 for example, it was stated that the killer can hear the family's screams from the kitchen. Hence, the time in the kitchen at 53:00 should be at "4:15". Somehow, you got that solved through trial and error. XD Overall, I've enjoyed the game. And though there were a lot of combi locks used throughout, I cannot fault it, what with the method for attaining each code being variably interesting.
How did I miss this game?! This was so cool, very well done, nice atmosphere and puzzles, and the ending! Awesome video CJU, and awesome game, devs! Edited to add (watching through the facecam highlights), that "you did it" jingle is SO satisfying.
The cut at 0:35 made me lost it!!! AHAHAHA, always with a incredible sense of humor. Just starting the video but I have a good feeelig is gonna be good!
This was a really great experience enjoyed every thing about it puzzles were nice story was cohesive you commentary was great also by the way 👍 kudos to the developers that 2 week time frame makes me curious as to what could be done in a year 😀 and yes sound design and voice acting do add exponentially to walk abouts like this you can get a lot more creep factor the better these are .
Brilliant twist! Kudos to the devs for excellent work! I was very satisfied with everything that occured here. Even with rather slow approach of the playable character.
Talk about a plot twist! What a phenomenal game. Loved every minute it, the atmosphere, the puzzles, the graphics...everything!. Thank you so much for playing this game Chris and thank you to the dev team for creating such an incredible game....wow.
"Playtested by a real serial killer", "It's time that the world witness my creations" inb4 the dev is the serial killer, and the game is his creation detailing his story.
That game was right bloody brilliant! It really would have been right at home next to Gabiel Knight, Phantasmagoria, or the Seventh Guest. Always a pleasure watching your play throughs
Damn. I didn't want the game to end yet! Horrible concept, not 100% original, but WOW! I was so engrossed in following Chris around the house that I was hoping for at least another hour. My favorite part was that the bad guy wasn't constantly yapping away through the speakers in some over-the-top sarcastic/snide tone. The timing for the serial killer "speak" in this game is impeccable. Thank you, dear Dear Mr. Lundström. More, please?
this was really awesome! my only wish was for subtitles because that beautiful accent is distracting. i enjoyed the story and the gameplay a lot, as well as the looming suspense. thanks for sharing it with us!
is this the same house from the other game? The one where the kid goes and checks out the abandoned, creepy house across the street?? i was wondering why this looked so familiar lol... i am only 3 minutes into this but i just wanted to say that i am so excited for a longer game this time!!!! love you CJ, never change!!!! xxx
Very atmospheric with great puzzles. The fact that it was put together in two weeks is amazing. Hope the writer makes a game which takes much longer to prepare, that should be something else🤘
Oh Chris! You wouldn’t be you if you went “right” cause you ALWAYS go “left.” Keep up the videos and all your content. I’ve enjoyed your content for 5 years now and it keeps getting better.
O_O the opening sounds just like 9 Childs St. which also happens to be your most recent upload before this O_O interesting antagonist. he seems like he may be a bit crazy. but at the same time...realizes he and his family are bad people. SPOILERS if you are the antagonist the entire time...does that mean...if you left the property...you would have killed your self? also...if you were the only one there... who turned off the light? who moved the skeleton that had the screwdriver? what triggered the recorded intercom dialog...
I'm a bit late and watching this one Christmas Eve day, but what a treat! You don't find too many games, made in such a short time, to be so good. I loved the game and you are always a joy to watch... so cherry on top... or I guess angel on top of the Christmas tree! 🤣 Merry Christmas, Chris, and thanks for all your wonderful entertainment! 🙌😄
Totally agree, the developer(s?) should have asked for some money for this genuine work of art. What a fantastic game! If I had to REALLY nitpick, it would just be that the voice actor's voice doesn't sound like it's coming from the environment it's in. But it's such a small thing, really. In fact, aside from that, the sound design (including the music), the gorgeous graphics, the great puzzles, intriguing storyline, and unexpected twist at the end made this game a real gem! I hope the developers will continue to make horror games, and maybe next time actually charge people for the privilege of playing! P.S. 00:31 is honestly it's own clever form of art. I laughed so hard when you cut to a later clip of yourself struggling with said puzzles. XDDD Equally hilarious was 43:45 - "His arms are like hands!" Thanks so much for this playthrough!
Hey CJU! Thank you so much for taking your time playing the game. It was an incredible video with spot on commentary. I fully understand that it must be hard to bring something interesting to the table, when the game itself is pretty slow! Thanks for being part of his creation.
I thought it was perfect!

Har du gjort detta? Det var verkligen jättebra!
Great puzzle horror game. One of my favorite things in puzzle games is hidden areas, like your sconce puzzle.
Was this really put together in two weeks? That blows my mind.
Absolutely brilliant game overall. Really enjoyed this one!
Absolutely amazing game, we need more like it!
It was such a joy to watch! Thanks for playing it! 💚
I enjoyed it too ! Thanks to you of course 👍
I loved it as well. ♥️♥️♥️
I absolutely adore the Resident Evil style music that plays from time to time.
A horror game without jumpscares, relying entirely on atmosphere and psychological tension? Hell yes! And kudos on your puzzle solving skills, you're proving to be an absolute pro, as usual. I like this one quite a bit!
Thats why amnesia was the best game of all times for me... ended that game 4 times... Best horror game ever made
Editing helps a lot with making me seem quick at figuring things out 😂
After the last game and this one, I got to ask: What rational person sees a light on in an abandoned house and goes "Gee let me go take a look!"
none at all, even with all my curiosity I wouldn't risk it
Someone with a death wish apparently
If people in horror stories were rational then we’d have very very very few horror stories. Also the person in this game didn’t just go in out of curiosity. Did you watch the full video?
I was blown away when i noticed the monstera at 16:19. The fact that they had 2 weeks and still took the time to make realistically detailed, readily identifiable plants really does it for me.
I loved everything about this game. Sometimes the best ones are the ones that don't need to rely on jumpscares and enemies.
Partum artifex=creative artist. Be back later to finish watching this gracious plenty of CJU horror lusciousness.
The times definitely had to be on specific clocks, you just got it right the first time. The note in the attic said "from the kitchen I could hear their screams", implying the time you find through the note goes to the kitchen clock. Very subtle hints, but I dig it.
And the children’s room clock was connected to the poem with the line about giggles in the next room or something to that effect, I think?
This was absolutely brilliant, especially for a game made in 2 weeks! I really hope the dev is just getting started, and makes more games in the future.
Just wanted to pop in and thank you for this delightful video! I wrote the music, did the sound effects, and also did the voice acting for this game. Thank you for this playthrough!
Wow I love the music. I also felt your voice acting delivery was a little Jeffery Combs and a little Joker Dark Knight inspired. I truly loved it.
How did you do such a good American accent?
I loved your voice acting! I got literal chills down my back at the end speech right before the big reveal (also with the comment about games being another form of art). Great job!
Can confirm - am gushing. That was great!!! 2 week jam?!?!?! Surely they polished it after that time. Voice acting, polish of the map, the thoughtfulness of each scenario??? Wonderful! AND FREE? Hope this team sticks around for another one. Next time, with a well-deserved price tag for their work!
1 hour long gameplay?! PERFECT with a snack and a cup of tea😌 👌
Oh yes! My idea of a perfect time as well! 👍🏻
The ending was wonderful, I could never imagine. I really liked this game!!!
Oh that twist was gooood! It really gives a "reasonable" explanation to the always irrational actions of horror protagonists. Why would you know the house was there? Why would you go in? 1:13 - “I can’t even see the building, how the hell did I notice this from the road?”
59:58 - “I did not see that twist coming!”
Oh, but you did ;)
This is one of the brilliant indie horror games, absolutely! Those puzzles, even if its not a new, are still mindblowing. Entertainment at it's finest.
Does CJU have an equal? I think not. We have the best, here. Thank you, Chris.
That's very kind, but there's a few others that also make very entertaining/informative vids 😁
@@CJUGames Nope. Not buying it.

Really wished this was a full-fledged game because I definitely want to see you play more of the storyline. Amazing job and good twist at the end.
Ah yes, this is game was made by one of my fellow developers for that GameJam that my game Silent Mementos was entered in.
I actually like the fact there were no jump scares in this game. When I tell you I laughed so loud when you said “how hard can it be?” And the cut scene!! BAHAHAH!!!
And this was made in two weeks? Bloody incredible! Shows you don't need jumpscares to make a great horror game.
The edit in the beginning when you talked about the puzzles being difficult was unexpectedly amazing. In the part where you have to move the corpse statues I could only think how the character managed to touch them several times without disgust or distress. I know its old but I just finished your Kholat play through, I love how immersed you get into the exploration games!

This was amazing. Psychological horror like this is so much better than cheap jump scares. Well done to the developers.
Chefs kiss for this absolute diamond of a game💎 2 weeks incredible work from the devs👏🏻 I hope they do more soon 🤞🏻 Cju a pleasure to watch as always 🤩😎
yes another long walkthrough
definitely going enjoy this chris 🙌
This game is utterly fantastic. Especially for a game jam...I love this so much. Had to go download it. Thanks again for a great game Chris.
These puzzles were so amazing! I loved everything about this game and that twist? Beyond brilliant I'm impressed! Thank you for playing this and taking us on that amazing journey!!! 👏

Now *this* was a most impressive game. I particularly loved the art work and the twist ending.
Nice choice for a playthrough, Cju. 😁👍
Ooh this is so in my alley! Great job Chris, as usual!
This was absolutely fantastic! Absolutely loved the atmosphere and the puzzles were great. Would really love to see more games like this being made.

I love one hour play throughs keep up the great work 🙂👍
Imagine if this dev had more than two weeks to work with. We might have a AAA title on our hands.
I absolutely love everything about this. This was well done. I hope to see more from the devs of this game. Bravo!!😁👍
You're really excellent with puzzles in games CJU! Great gameplayer ❤
The game was too intriguing, it left me tense from beginning to end, thanks for bringing such good games to the channel, they make my day 💖💖
Love the premise. It's amazing what can be achieved in just a couple weeks.

That was really good. Music and atmosphere reminded me of Outlast at times
I'd like to learn more about the serial killer who had set this whole thing up! He seems like an interesting character and the creators really got his 'extremely full of himself psychopathic serial killer personality' down. Really fun game- even just watching you play it!
Liked the way you did the fast forward during the puzzle with the bodies that needed to be turned.
This was an absolutely intriguing game!! I agree with the feedback about it not being as “scary” as it could’ve been. Adding some more well placed sound effects and jump scares would have just added to the great gameplay!
Just Like CJUGames Said, "Bloody Brilliant"...
A very interesting game. Puzzles make sense and the music served it beautifully. The voice from the speaker could have been less articulating maybe? But it doesn't bother the whole theme much
Thanks for playing.

How did I miss this game?! This was so cool, very well done, nice atmosphere and puzzles, and the ending! Awesome video CJU, and awesome game, devs! Edited to add (watching through the facecam highlights), that "you did it" jingle is SO satisfying.
I like watching all of your playthroughs, but I enjoyed this game more than many of the ones you've played recently.
the killers Swedish accent almost sounds like a german accent which makes him the perfect supervillain😉
The cut at 0:35 made me lost it!!! AHAHAHA, always with a incredible sense of humor.

I agree this game was actually really good. No jump scares just atmosphere. Loved this.
Omg that's incredible for two weeks! So well done. Loved every minute of it.
love how he second chances all his games and tries to leave lol keep up the good work

Oh Chris! You wouldn’t be you if you went “right” cause you ALWAYS go “left.” Keep up the videos and all your content. I’ve enjoyed your content for 5 years now and it keeps getting better.
O_O the opening sounds just like 9 Childs St. which also happens to be your most recent upload before this O_O
interesting antagonist. he seems like he may be a bit crazy. but at the same time...realizes he and his family are bad people.
SPOILERS
if you are the antagonist the entire time...does that mean...if you left the property...you would have killed your self?
also...if you were the only one there...
who turned off the light?
who moved the skeleton that had the screwdriver?
what triggered the recorded intercom dialog...
Radical! as always top shelf video thank you sir.
Oooh that was really good especially for being free and being made for a game jam
