    It is so good that you don't forget the M50 and M6 Mark ii users.

    I love my M50 and I appreciate your M50 content. I originally bought my M50 to make my TH-cam videos and now because of your videos have expanded it’s use into photography and have shelved my old Nikon.

    Love your content. Bought a M50 1 yr ago, and you give me confidence that I don’t need to upgrade gear yet. It’s a great beginner camera for me. You’re my North Star.

    Great video Mark. It's probably hard to see on the camera screen on a sunny day but if you focus on the sky when you spin the CPL filter, you'll bring those deep blue tones back as well (if not better) than the graduated filter. It's one of the best value for money bits of gear in my opinion if you shoot landscapes, property or architecture.

      Thanks, yes, I was focusing on the water, it wasn't doing much there, next time I will pay attention to the sky as well.

    After I stumbled across a waterfall on a hike and needed to improvise my dark tinted sunglasses as a ND filter to get a long exposure, 30 bucks sounds like a reasonable price to make that more professional and easy.

      Yes, the results will be better for sure.

    Thanks for still providing content for the camera we already have. I was on the fence about taking my camera on vacay because going to the beach. I think I will use the cheaper solution to get some photos I never thought about getting.😀

    Great video as always, but if I have the viltrox 1,4 of 23 mm what variable nd filter do you recommend me if I want to film (but also make photos) on sunny days on various subjects for achieving a very good bokeh effect? What would be a better choice, this or this ND8-ND2000 (3-11 Stop)
    ND8-128 (3-7 Stop)?

      @markwiemels  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Get a variable ND for video, 3-7 stop should be good.

    hey I'm just starting up real estate photography and I'm looking to try out vlogging and some other videos and just pictures etc. I was just wanting your opinion on what you would say is the top 3 lens that would be a great choice for all I'm trying to do. I currently have the canon m50 mark ii. I've watched a good amount of your videos and a few other creators and just can't narrow it down. Thanks in advance and love the content!

    Curious if you would still suggest the M50 in 2022. Wondering if someone getting into hybrid shooting in late 2022 should still consider the M50

    • @markwiemels

      It's still hard to beat at the price point, as long as you are happy with 1080p video. There is the Sony ZV-E10, which is great for video, but not as good for photo, and much harder to use. If you area willing to spend around $1000, then I would look at sometime else.

      @@markwiemels Would that "something else" include Fuji? Wondering if the X-S10 should be up for consideration? It's really hard to beat the M50 at its current refurb kit cost.
