I thought Benettons had a V8 and not a V12

Yeh I don't know why F1 dubbed with the Ferrari V12 when they uploaded the Catalunya clip
I kinda found the answer a few days ago 😅 Back in the late 80s and early 90s, onboard compilations were released in Japan. On the 1991 tape, there is a split-screen with Alesi and Schumacher. My take on it is that when FOM put their hands back on the footage, they mistakenly used the Ferrari audio, put it in kinda sync, and then the person in charge of content verification/approval didn't exactly know the specs of what he/she had to listen to and post 🤷
Doesn't matter what sound it made, that Cosworth HB V8 kept up with them all.
Thats a V12 Ferrari engine youre hearing. It's the wrong sound dub. You can also tell that its out of sync with where the car is on track. The V8 makes a much lower pitch sound. You might want to correct this video.

This engine sound is not original from the video, this benetton had V8 engine and this sound is v12!
Well, the only thing I can imagine is that V12 are so loud that Ford V8 were muffled hahaha
