Huge congrats! Well done. I did my first Lap last year (2022) and loved it. Similar weather to this year. It's a brilliant event and one I'm sure I'll return to. Your smile at the end says it all. 👍
Thanks Francois, watching your video was one of the reasons I did the race in the first place! Off to the Serpent Trail 50K in a couple of weeks, will try and get some footage from that as well. Cheers.
Enjoyed the video pal! Have subscribed in support. We know how hard it is to make good content, we have a YT channel of our own we're trying to get off the ground! Keep up the good work.
Congratulations cracking event isn’t it? I ran this one as well, what did you think of that last mile or so on the road before getting onto the lakeside? Oh my legs did not like that decline 😂
Thanks for commenting, yes that last mile on the road seemed to go on forever! Nearly missed the turn off on the right, was heading back to the car park, luckily an earlier finisher was walking back and directed me and Gary the right way!
Thanks John, I used a GoPro Hero 9 and shot the original footage in 4k at 60fps. The actual film was edited in Filmora 12 at 1920 x 1080 resolution and 25fps output. Good luck in September, you'll love it although everyone says that anti-clockwise is harder! Look forward to seeing your video! Cheers.
fantastic well done.
Thanks William!
Congratulations..... did it in 2022.... lovely but brutal 😊
That was great insight to the lap. I’m signed up to it for next year, however I’m doing it alone (other than the others taking part of course)
Stunning views. I would love to do this event.
It sure was a hot one
Far out! Very well done sir, very impressed indeed!
We have a static caravan at Finsthwaite and saw all the runners coming through the field throughout the evening. Hoping to do this myself next year
Good luck Craig, you'll love it!
Great vlog, the start seems to have got way busier than when we did it last year!
Thanks guys, loved your video too, it was very inspirational for me before my run!
@@southwestrunner7263 Thankyou, good luck in your future runs. We’ve subscribed 👍
