Talked to both of you at the start great effort !! I walked it for charity finished at 4.15 Sunday morning totally exhausted and in an emotional mess lol
Ah mate!!!! Well done!!! I've wondered about you all weekend and hoped I would find out you finished. Great effort. I'm also very emotional about the whole experience. Just mind blowing!!! 🤯👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👊👍🏻💪
@@NorthernFellRunning I can honestly say it's the hardest thing I've ever done in my life. Walked the last 14 miles 10 of them in the dark with two lads if I'd not done it with them I'd have probably thrown the towel in!
Thank you. There's a few videos popping up. Great to see people joining the TH-cam fun. Can believe how fast you got yours out though. You mustn't have slept!! Hahaha
@@NorthernFellRunning we drove straight home back to Manchester after the pasta, had a shower, ordered a curry and sat down with the iPad. Didn’t mess about! 😂
I am so glad you made this video. I really wanted to see what the LAP was like, a few of the people I run with were doing it. How did you know the route? Does LAP stand for something? Great achievement.
Hi Olga. To follow the route, you are given a map and they send yoy a GPX file to download to your nav device or watch. Also, the entire course is marked with little blue arrows. All 47 miles!!! 'Lap' just means a circular route returning to the same position around an object or place. 😊👍🏻
@@NorthernFellRunning oh thank you for the information. Oh I thought "lap" actually stood for something but it's just a lap :-) I didn't realise you could use GPX navigation. So they are allowed in trail races?!! I just have this anxiety of getting lost after I went down the wrong valley during Black Combe fell race because it was very foggy. It's good that the route is marked.
Fantastic Graham! Hats off to you for getting that monkey off your back mate. What a stunning course it was. I’m sure looking back you can appreciate more rather than towards the end there!
Brilliant gents! 'I love trail running' :)
Thanks for watching Stephen 😊😎👍🏻
Wonderful vlog. Well done! Please keep an eye that the music doesn’t interfere with the native audio. Thank you.
We will try harder 👍

I can't speak for Lee but trust me Ian... it was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life! Hahaha. I must have a good poker face! 😉

This is just awesome! What would be the best way to get there from another country?
On a plane? 🤣🤣🤣🤣👍
@@NorthernFellRunning That part was easy to understand! 🤣🤣🤣 But all airports i see are quite far from the town were the race is held.

Yes.. I was out of steam towards the end wasn't I? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@NorthernFellRunning Not your usual chipper self though mate no! Hows the recovery been? All ok?
@@trailrunningphil .. took a few days to feel normal again and I've had an entire week off running. Back to it on Sunday though. 😎👍🏻
Was this the clockwise or anticlockwise lap
Clockwise in May. 👍
A nice bimble around the lake edge... Not.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
