I was just on the phone with the wife’s stepdad asking me about a top handle saw🤣 I do not have any experience with one so I really didn’t know were to lead him. I did mention Echo🤷♂️ Funny thing then your vid notification popped up🤣
Looks like a great little lightweight saw for small yard work and taking limbs off trees. Looks great. Hope you are OK. I saw you had a knee brace on. Be blessed. My friend.
Update - other than fiddling around with the clutch cover - chain tension adjusting screw for a few minutes - this little tyke has been very impressive. Straight 44:1 2 cycle mix, after some very slight adjustments, it is running fine. For duty - I've kept it to 4" diameter or less to give some break in time - but for a 12" saw - that is where it will see the most activity. It's quick and feather light - so it will be the perfect saw for ATV / Golf cart carry, trail clearing and branch work. For the price - free delivery - it's a runner. The fuel and oil ports are small and they don't hold much volume - but that is the design. I might buy another one for the other hand - just kidding. Keep up the good work Indiana Doug.
Just bought one and will be here this weekend. Will do a small muff mod and see how it does for limbing.. Edit: arrived a few weeks ago and thus far, great little ripper. I have only used a few times but fires on 3rd pull or so.
Doug, what’s up with that brace on your leg? I don’t remember you saying anything thing about an injury in any of your previous vids. ARE YOU OKAY??? I have the same one. Run it all the time. Its a great saw. Keep mine on utv and tractor. Works great
Just bought one! I use it when i ride my electric unicycle out to camp to cut firewood.
Electric unicycle? I want one🤣

The internet is listening lol 😂
Phones listening typical
Haven't climbed more than a few feet from the ground but have been kinda wanting a top handle. Looks like a decent cute little saw!👍🏻
Think I’m gonna have to get one to keep in the toolbox of the truck
that's washable air filter, I learned that from manuals for my saw few days ago, you split it in half and wash it when needed, gasoline can be used
Just got mine today ! Came with a mixing bottle 🍼
But no stickers 😢
I know you like to tinker on your chainsaws, but will this one see a Port Job and Velocity Stack?
Gonna need something for me to use it lol. I’m used to a 35cc Echo for this work.

I’m using this little saw a lot more than I thought I would!😀
Beautiful day out today!
Love it
Pretty Sweet saw!
Do they make parts for these things? I've looked all over Google and can't find a thing even there website there's nothing.. thank you
I’m not sure tbh. I believe they’re Zenoah clones if that helps.
@@IndianaDoug got a hold of the manufacturer.. they do not make replacement parts for there saws so neotec is a lost cause
@@TomPrice-sp6ft for this model or in general? I’ve seen tons of parts on their website.
@@IndianaDoug I'm guessing this model.. could you send a link? I couldn't find anything on there
Here’s their top parts page, not sure what’s all there: neotecworld.com/collections/parts-by-brands
What parts are interchangeable with it? Husky or stihl?
Neither
@@IndianaDougdo you know where I’d get parts?
@@WyattPetersen eBay, Amazon, aliexpress, numerous online shops. Parts are everywhere and dirt cheap. Search g2500 parts.
Another Zenoah 2500 clone - nice looking too. I'm waiting on mine to be delivered soon.

For sure. The price point makes it hard to pass up. I’ve made money using this little thing. Sure I have better toppers, but it gets the job done.
Yo doug did your's have gas in it from the factory?? Cause mine did just wondering if thats normal?
Didn’t check. I assumed it didn’t
What did you do to your knee?
Ha, twisted it and something popped. (Getting old🤣)
@@IndianaDoug sorry to hear that buddy. Hope you’re knee gets feeling better soon.

Awesome😀
Doesn’t it come with an already ported exhaust without spark arrester?
It does. I have been very impressed thus far.

that looks like a fun little toy :)
What is it a clone of?
I think a Zenoah.
Stihl from what I hear...
Very cool Lil chainsaw there 👍
Thx I used it when I was climbing the other day. It did well.
I think I’m picking one up for dirt bike trail maintenance.
Not to bad of a little saw
Did you say ( Fil-der)?? 😅 I'm just messing with ya.
Probably, I talk like a hick 😁
Nice

Thank you. I twisted my knee and something popped. I think it’s getting better now
Just ordered mine today can’t wait to rip it in the tree 🌲 😊
Knee braces are supposed to be worn UNDER the pants.
I went with the recommendation from the manufacturer🤷🏻♂️
Read the manual.
Fire Starter
I use this thing for commerical use i love it for trimming. And if i break it its only 109 bucks.
Exactly🤣
Painfully slow huh? Not bad for $150
