Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga Minimum Kill Challenge (2/2)

In this video, I find myself trying one of the most stupid things I've ever done: A minimum kill run of Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga for the GBA.
Watch as I go clinically insane trying to tackle this challenge while maintaining the least amount of felonies possible.
Sorry this video took so long to come out. This was far too ambitious of a project for me to tackle within my first year of TH-cam, and it definitely showed. Nonetheless, thanks to everyone who stuck around. I think it was worth the wait.

Popple's defense doesn't go down after a certain amount of turns, it goes down when you use thunder Bros.

Turned out pretty well for being your first video of this style! Some things to note: I think money troubles could have been solved by blending and selling drinks from Hee Beans, since you can get an infinite number of those without fighting, and Thunder Bros. is what caused enemy defense debuffs. Glad I found you - hopefully you'll make more stuff in the future.

notably the first goombas are confirmed to be Captain Goomba and Private Goomp as of the later games meaning they canonically survive getting stomped here, so there's only like a couple confirmed true deaths here

im going to ruin things for you: you could have just gotten coins by making mario small, high jumping on him as luigi, and then punching luigi with jumps

@@CallenderMan yep, making Mario get hit in the crotch gives a coin and takes 1 health off of Mario, which can be used for profit when you use mushrooms on Mario. It is very slow but an infinite coin generator

I dont know if you knew but Thunder Bros is absolutely OP in this game.
First, the normal version hits all grounded enemies, unlike Bounce Bros Advanced, and can reduce their defense stat.
Second, the advanced version reduce humongously the attack of the target, to the point the foe can only deal one point of damage to the brothers for the duration of the status effect.

I technically committed genocide in hoohoo mountain in the remake thanks to getting lost. In short thanks to getting lost and mad at enemies I killed so many I grinded to the point of two shotting(2 because of angy mode) every “early game” boss (up to a lil after queen bean)

Also for the “bean fever/drugshroom” part in the remake the side mode gives confirmation on why it was poison
