The second snap point for pillars I did not know you could do this! Thank you! I'm very glad, because I was building a massive base and did not want the entire floor to look ugly.

Just the video I was looking for. I'm an admin on a primitive plus roleplay server, and I'm working on a colosseum, and the pillars were annoying to me if I was seeing myself as a guest to a show. This video helped a ton. Thank you!!
i struggled with the top of the pillar sticking through the floor for so long and couldn't find a good video.. thanks a million dude

There can be a problem when placing a pillar on the cornor and after placing the pillar all the way into the ground and removing the ceiling, the pillar can be destroyed :/ At the time making this video I haven't seen that before, that's why I don't havwe a solution for that in this video. I did have encountered that for the first time when I was building my bridge. Another great tutorial. I love these tricks you're sharing. I'm currently playing on a friend's server but I am going to do some testing on single player to learn your tricks as well as figure out what I want to design. I notice in your videos you are carrying a lot of structure pieces. Are you using a console command to carry extra weight or did you level up a lot and put the points into weight?

Indeed, best to test things out in single player and later do it in multiplayer. Thats what I always do :)
For thos building videos, I have few lvls in movement speed and all the rest I put in weight, so I can carry a lot. I dont need the other stats in singleplayer ;)

Good stuff! I'm hoping this will help me tonight... we all know it's best to start at the lowest point and work the way up slope and not try to go down because it doesn't work... but that's just what I need now. I started down the hill and built upward, a ton of stuff built now, and jsut decided I'm out of space and want to extend down the hill a bit more.

thank you. that was helpfull. solution 2:10 min. snap pillar halfway, snap one below a bit lower than it wants to, keep putting pillars down till u reach the bottom, remove the halfway-top one.

Having trouble with S+ Pillars in Viking Bay, trying to build across the broken arches. Any suggestions? First I am widening the plateaus sufficient enough to use Keep Behemoth Gates as walls with Rounded Keep Towers on the corners, then building across. Some pillars will not snap to the Sea bottom.

The poking through the ceiling thingy mebob is a lot more difficult under water as it gets deeper !

i did the pillar thing but when i place a ceiling next to it it says it needs a foundation support nearby..
I need to build a castle on the ragnarok 3 waterfalls but dont know how can you help

i'm trying to build out in the ocean with floor ceilings but at the very bottom of the ocean with the pillars and i'm getting no place here thing at the top of the pillar it's very tall is there a way to get foundations on the pillars to create a snap point? i tried putting the foundation under the ceiling but it wouldn't work
foundation can only be placed on the ground, they dont snap on top of pillars or ceilings.
