EverQuest Online Adventures: Symphony (Unofficial Fan Compilation Album)

- This is a compilation album made by me, that include only the symphonic tracks made with a real orchestra, taken from the EverQuest Online Adventures in-game soundtrack.
From track 1 to 8, names are taken from "Frontier OST official names", however from track 9 to 18, I invented the track names (since names on the game source were: BATTLE_1K.BGM, BATTLE6K_.BGM, etc..) trying to use boss and zone names taken from the EverQuest Wiki.
Anyways, I tried to follow a listening path in this album, and you will see it in the info below.
I also made the album art too, editing the original logo and make it presentable was a pain the ass, the image is from EQ1 because there wasn't any High Quality Art from EQOA (I am not a graphic designer so don't expect too much hahaha).
Fedex1 is my nickname for a forum where I share these things.

ARG! The heart aches with the good memories of EQOA. The original. I don’t miss wOW nor Skyrim when I don’t dive in.
I would pass out in highpass and wake up to this many times.
And my console froze from the massive amounts of load it put on due to the congested areas. xD
Dude yes! This was my favorite track to fall asleep to after a long night of grinding xp 🙌
High pass, Darvor Manor and Freeport. Use to wake up after passing out grouping and would wake up stuck on that barrel in DM right next to where you’d respawn.
Halas is one of my favorite sounds
An elegant soundtrack... from a more civilized age.
Music was very underrated for this game. Some beautifully arranged tracks here.
Runnyeye Citadel was my favorite battle track when I acquired Frontiers.
I love the sense of quality and occasion this gives to the whole thing
Oh man. Right in the feels.
Such an underrated game, the best game of all time then and forever.
Eternal gratitude to witness something so detrimental to the gaming community that still lives on after death only to one day rise again like a phoenix from the ashes.
A void created by the loss of this game that cannot be relinquished by the actual game inspired by it after nor before it, but once again the light will shine upon Norrath.
I'm right there with ya. Favorite game by far and always will be. I'm now 50 years old. Played many games on many different systems. This one right here is THE BEST!
God I miss this game. Unlike EQ1 and EQ2 this game felt massive. I know in actuality the world was small but the lack of load times was extremely impressive

I miss the game more than anything. No other MMO has recaptured the essence and excitement like this one did. Wish it could be revived.

Oh wow.. I havent heard this music since 2003. I was 16 years old and the whole concept of an MMO blew my mind.
I have such fond memories of sneaking to my ps4 after my family had gone to bed and playing until the early hours! Thank you for this nostalgia!

"I was doubly surprised by EQOA this past week, which I did not think was possible now that the game’s been out of commission for a couple of years. My first surprise was that when I started listening to the soundtrack, it wasn’t early EverQuest’s MIDI bloops but a rich, sweeping score that ranks right up there with the other titles in the series. My second surprise was seeing Jeremy Soule as one of the MMO’s composers (along with Jeremy Bell, Rob King, and Paul Romero). I did not know he was attached to this project, but it does explain that touch of mastery it has."

This is absolutely beautiful!! Thank you for doing this for ALL us!! I have been wanting to hear all the MIDI turned into real instruments! I am not knocking the MIDI, it was indeed beautiful but my god for the first time to hear this! If there is one game i have fond memories of its this one, my first MMORPG. As basic as it was on the ps2 it was still a breathtaking and magical experience. Heck even the intro screams at you, "time for an adventure like no other!"

This would work as a Star Trek movie soundtrack. Orchestrated like a Brahms symphony.
Sometimes i get a reminder like this that orchestral music isn't dead, and should never die.
Riverdale has the best music for each iteration. But the Classic upbeat EQ Riverdale soundtrack is still the best of all the EQ music.

A download link for a local copy is included in the description, in FLAC format. But I can't upload to Spotify (if this is what you mean), because it can be done only by the artist of these music
