My apologies to anyone who had comments on this video the first time it was uploaded. There was a problem in the render where the refrence images were not lined up with the shots of the model, so I fixed that and re uploaded the video.

Your builds are excellent, I wish I had your skills. Beautiful display models for sure.

Very cool. Love that you did 2 ships to compare them. I think you are really a talented model builder.

Good work mate. Your attention to detail is superb. They look so cool when they are lit up too.

Hi I liked what you did with the two models "shame their is no armoured version of this kit" , their is room for improvement a shuttle bay & a refit version wouldn't be to hard to achieve lose the aero shuttle in favour of a torpedo launcher ablative armour as well same as defiant so on & so on , remember modelling is about your ideas as well as the model it's all fair game .. good luck

yes you've got a good scale there, but i do fancy a huge klingon cruiser

Interesting. While this might be an improvement over previous Voyager kits, seeing the direct comparison with the studio model it's clear that there are still a ton of inaccuracies in the various shapes and details. Unless this is supposed to be based more on the CG model that came later? I'm not a huge VOY expert so not sure what the differences might be between the two...

The Intrepid-class Bucephalus was in several episodes of DS9 as an admiral's flagship. It and several of its stable mates were uprated for combat in the Dominion War.

I never realised how big Voyager is actually supposed to be. Especially when along with the fleet in Endgame it doesn't look that way. And its probably because its crew complement is tiny in comparison. 150 Crew my ass!

Hi, I got the clear version of Voyager and I know it's gonna be a fun build to do; but I also know that the colors that are on the box are almost impossible to find since some of them have been discontinued. So I was wondering what colors did you use to paint this model? Also if you happen to know where I can find a proper color diagram for this particular model kit, I would greatly appreciated it.

I’m building the 1/1000 scale polar lights voyager what do I use to cut the windows out that doesn’t melt the plastic or anything ?

Judging by your hands on the model it looks to be similar size to the playmates uss voyager, how close is it I need replacement decals that no one makes!

They look like decent kits but iv built the revell version and I must say I do prefer that one over these

Thanks for the video. I saw the model at Wonderfest and didnt pick up the lack of detailing on the primary hull. Disappointed that this is the case. Do u think it really stands out in person?

The windows, not if you decal them I think the sensor pallets a bit more unless you really paint the raised ones to look like the decals

This kit is taking forever to get to store shelves. It's still not out anywhere, as far as I can tell.

There is a shipping crisis that is causing massive delays. The DS9 set should have been released before Voyager but it's held up for this very reason. August is the new release date for Voyager from what I've read.

I find it disheartening that they didn’t match the same level of detail throughout the entire kit. The windows on the engineering section as well as the “sensor bands” (i guess thats what they’re called) look great….its quite odd to see a total lack of detail on the saucer for those respective parts…what a shame. Otherwise its a great looking kit and I will be getting it anyways. I’ll just have to get photoetch parts to fix those areas.

I wish Tamiya or Bandai would get the rights to produce Star Trek kits. I want Star Trek kits but Polar Lights and the others are just too Low quality to get my money. Parts don’t line up. Decals are the wrong size. Not to mention most Polar Lights kits require to basically shrink wrap your kits in water slides. Just poorly produced. But we’ll done here. Good work.

Compared to the Bandai kit this kit is a major joke!
