You need to make sure you have no movement once you have torqued up the bolts, I noticed you've movement. If you don't address the movement any load will over time wear your fixing bolts loose! I've just fitted mine after some kind advice from my local Skoda dealer. Safe travels and enjoy your Yeti 😊
I'm not sure you attached the roof rack correctly, there is a notch in the fittings so when you clip down the roof rack the black metal should fit in these fittings. Notice in the video how they slide down at 3:38 and 3:57 and at 3:16 they look to be seated too far out. They still have some sort of grip but if you're planning on transporting something heavy like a kayak then you should really double check that they go in correctly. Usually takes me a few tries to get all in right. It's supposed to be solid before you put on the cover
OK. I'll look at the clips and the alignment. The rack hasn't moved and we've carried a mattress, plywood sheets, thick insulation, and a large door on it at motorway speeds.

Oh brilliant! I put a roof rack and roof box on my Qashqai a couple of weeks ago... didn’t consider recording a TH-cam video for it!
We had standard Thule rails for our Qashqai. They were very helpful.

I'm looking at Thule bicycle racks. I'll ask the stockist about a Thule roof box.
Is that the skoda original or the Thule? Advantages either one?

Sadly you didn't install a roof rack,you installed roof bars. They are completely different.
It could be a matter of semantics. Most of the people I know think the bars are the rack.
