Amazing work. I’m a professional artist and I’ve tried all vr sculpting except Medium. You’ve inspired med me to give it a shot. None of them feel right or implement tasks in a way that I find intuitive or faster than zbrush, mudbox or Maya. This looks promising. I know it takes time and practice but I just haven’t enjoyed the pipeline.
This has been really breakthrough work for me. Models and robots I've wanted to do for years, I do in moments now. 2 or 3 a day. I'm glad I learn Medium from you first, now I'm moving to Substance Modeler. When I was doing this. I love duping the and cutting an outer casing or shell, but I wasn't fond of the offset from scaling. I would have like a true consistant extrude thickness like with Zbrush Deformation/Inflate or a Panel loop for the extrude offset. However, this is a fast same app solution you did to just dupe and offset the top layer. Beautiful work. Oh, and I agree. I miss the glowing in Medium as oppose to SubModr.
So do you use this is a base and polish it in a non-vr setup later? This is really fascinating. If I were to do this as well, though, where do I go next to make a game ready model? NM at the end of the video you do this. Thanks!
are these models good enough for production? I am wanting to do this as well for a job (specifically in medium) but I don't know if there's another step after this to make the model sharper and with better topology
Where I can get those materials from keyshot you use in the video ? Ive been experimenting with it but cant seem to find some cool materials outside from what they have in there already
Iv made those materials myself. You can either use the material graph to customize the default ones, or use a site like textures.com and make your own. Those specific ones are packed in my Gnomon tutorial files.
Will you upload or stream with adobe modeller at some point down the line? I am having a hard time trying to switch over, and i imagine i am not the only one looking at the comments here.
you know its a good day when MechNuggets posts a speedsculpt.

It's always so inspiring to see your process, keep 'em coming!
I've checked all of your streams and the gnomon one, and this one is so gooood and clean. Great work and thanks for sharing 🙌
Thanks for including the keyshot render work btw, good stuff.
It is very cool... Thanks for showing us...🍣

These are good for concept purposes but if you want to use them ingame, you def need to do some manual retopo on top.
Just wish Md would add the Grab dampening like Medium.
I though the app was forcefully replaced by adobe. Great job !
😎👍👍

hey, how did you get the uv maps ?im confused as when i export the uv maps they are all messed up and absolutely unusable
I dont use uvs at all. I just export the raw sculpt to Keyshot to render

Im having a hard time too 😆
But yes definitely
Is Adobe still developing medium? Or has it replaced by Adobe 3d modeler?
Theyre not updating medium, their team is on Modeler now.
Love to try this, is there a headset you'd recommend?
Quest 2 would prob be the best bang for your buck atm
@@MechNuggets is that what model you are using?
