I modified this recipe to- 3/4 cup choc protein 1 cup stevia 3/4 cup peanut butter 3 tsp vanilla extract 3 tsp peppermint essence Tbls cocoa 2 eggs pinch of salt some dark choc chips Best protein cookies I've come across so I make a batch every week.
Careful! It depends on the stevia. The brand "stevia in the raw" is by zero means pure stevia. It is mixed with maltodextrin so it measures the same way sugar would. If you ever find real, pure stevia, you would only need about a teaspoon. Other brands vary because they all are mixed with different sweeteners. Truvia is mixed with etherol, I think (and I'm pretty sure I did not spell that correctly).
This has to be about the twentieth buff dudes video I have watched this week. You guys are great and I have been really motivated by your videos to get my diet right and get my ass to the gym to build a buff body. Thanks a ton
I've made this recipe every week for the last 5 weeks or so and still love them. I've substituted the peanut butter for Almond butter and I also added walnuts my last time and it was even better. Thanks for the great recipe!
PB2 is really good. I've also tried the Walden Farms PB and it's awful. I add PB2 to everything and it tastes just as good as real peanut butter. Give it a try!
Thanks for sharing! I just tried to make my own Peanut Butter Cookies and it worked fine. Since I'm from Germany I needed to convert cups into grams. So i used 150g peanut butter (mine was bit thinner than shown in the video), 100g whey, 30g Xylit (to replace stevia) and 2 eggs. I used a chocolate whey so I did not add vanilla flavour to it. One piece of this should be like 130 kcal, 11g protein, 7g fat and about 5g carbs, so i think there are some differences to your masses. But however, it's very delicious - thank you for this nice snack!
@@the.openroad From what i gathered from my stepmom, who's basically a health nut and bakes a lot of stuff herself, cups are cups and you can get these little cup measurement things that have like 1 cup half a cup 1 third etc (just like the spoon set). Mix Eggs, Vanilla Extract, and Stevia. Then add Peanut Butter and Whey Protein. Stir until it is nice and thick. Spray pan with non-stick spray and then shape 12 ping pong ball sized cookie dough balls. Squish down balls with a fork covered in the Whey Protein to make a checkered pattern. Bake in the oven for 5-6 minutes. Let cool and soak up grease from fat for moisture and stay buff dudes.
Hi Ken. The main difference is the whey protein isolate is processed further in the manufacturing of whey protein. The end result is a more pure protein, with much lower levels of lactose and fat.
I just made and ate these and I just wanted to note the benefits to this recipe: 1. Tastes great! Obviously not exactly like an actual PB cookie, but great! 2. VERY easy to make and fast! 3. Makes you feel FULL! I only ate 3 cookies, and I can definitely feel it in my stomach. Sorry for the weird mini review, but I seriously recommend this guys! I'll be making them again!
Made these last night changed Stevie to brown sugar so mine were a little more calorie dense but much more macro friendly than a regular store bought cookie. thank you for the cookie recipe!!
Having seen your videos and loved them starting 2022 it's neat to see a much older video with less sophisticated style but the same trademark attitude.
Hi borehag, the PB really helps with the moisture but they're definitely not on the level of your typical cookie, as you said. Though for being a healthy cookie, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!
I don't know why some people had a problem with the recipe i tried it and they are my favorite cookies always come out the same.. great videos it was my motivation to workout and eat healthy keep up the good work dudes!
Hi Echnaton, glad you like the cookies! Yes, that's a great idea in regards to measurements. We will be shooting more recipe videos soon and we will do that!
Just made these with carb free chocolate protein power , baked 6 minutes on 350, came out great. Make sure you don't overcook, second time making these. Great recipe
I finished making these and they turned out great. I did make some changes to the recipe, like using cookies and cream protein power and adding some almond milk to soften the dough. The only thing I would change is using less stevia in the raw, about half.
Love it. What i do is 12TBSP of PB2 (3/4 cups=270) 1/4water, 1/4egg whites, 3/4 cups of protein, vanilla extract, 1/4 stevia = 12 cookies (whole patch is 540 Calories ) Love the channel guys, came across it by accident and now i thank god for it. Keep bringing in more videos BuffDUDES! One question: are the cookies suppose to be soft or crunchy ?
you guys are KILLING THE GAME - only a matter of time until other youtube fitness personalities are a thing of the past. Keep it up guys, the videos are so entertaining and incredibly informative.
I was looking for some youtube videos to help with form and motivation in the gym. I found this channel and have been hooked- awesome knowledge. But what I think is super underrated is the sheer production value. I don't think people know how much effort goes into editing between vids. This film student tips his hat.
I also love peanut butter and had never heard of PB2, in the past 9-10 months I've lost bit over 50 pounds while acquiring a decent amount of muscle, but I've hit a plateau and can't lose any more weight without starting to track my macros, so this will help me out a lot. Thank you =)
Making these tonight, only customizing a bit to turn into breakfast bars. Adding some organic oats into the mix for that bit of extra fiber and carbs for energy to start the day.
I tried this and they are super good! I'm 14 and they were pretty easy to make. Yummy and good for you! I now eat like a buff dude. Thanks again guys, you haven't let me down!
I don't think you have to tell him they're protein cookies. lolol. Also, I think you can cut down the sweetener in this recipe a bunch. Flavored protein powder is already really sweet, and peanut butter as well. Also your can add nuts for more crunch. Also also, if you beat the eggs with a whisk a bit and do 300 degrees for 10 minutes you'll get soft cookies.
Really compared to other cookies and sweet treats, hands down this one kicks ass. Besides it's meant for a snack or a dessert for those with a sweet tooth. I mean we can only eat so much chicken and beef before we crack for something sweet, and this provides a nice healthy alternative with GOOD fats and protein. So enjoy.
These look frickin amazing and I'm a peanut butter fanatic but am always trying to keep an eye on it since it is fairly high calorie. Something different for me to try and am super stoked to give it a go! Thanks guys!
I made them with Santha 6 Chocho Protein, except, I didn't add sugar. They had a very light taste compared to normal cookies but they were ok, and my friends liked them too. I think to improve it, I need to add some sugar, honey, or salt to the recipe.
I made these..not bad lol They don't taste like the peanut butter cookies im use to eating but after 2 or 3 cookies you get use to the taste.. Thanks Guys next im trying the ice cream ;)
Nice vid dude. Question though, what brand peanut butter did you use? It looked like Planters All Natural Sugar Free (the kind where you have to stir in the oil at the top of the jar). I ask because I heard from another cooking channel this type of "all natural" peanut butter separates to easily causing the cookies to fall apart. Thx
If you're watching this and having troubles making these come out well, here's a few tweaks I made to make them work; 1.As a sweetener, use brown sugar. Yes I know it's not as healthy as stevia, but the calorie addition is minimal 2.Add 1 tablespoon of baking soda 3.REFRIGERATE THE DOUGH. Let it chill for 20-30 min before rolling into balls. It sets the dough. Also, as an aside, GNC has their "lean 25" protein powder in single-serve packets; one packet is just under 3/4 cup of powder. So buy 3, use 1.5 packet for one batch, and the other 1.5 for another batch. It mixes well and tastes great. I use the rich chocolate in my regular protein shakes because it's delicious with milk. These packets saved me a ton of cash from having to buy a huge tub of vanilla whey I wouldn't have used outside of making these cookies. Hope this helps!
Thanks for the rad recipe! My brother and I make these cookies all the time, only substituting the sugar/stevia with honey. It makes the cookies extra soft and chewy. I like to add a little flax too, for those omega-3s.

some dark choc chips

a WHOLE cup of stevia??
yeah there's still very few calories in a cup because it's so light. Trust me this recipe is great if you use a nice tasting choc protein :-)
Careful! It depends on the stevia.
The brand "stevia in the raw" is by zero means pure stevia. It is mixed with maltodextrin so it measures the same way sugar would.
