Well we CAN listen to it on the radio & it’s a great bass line on the record, but she made me realize the bass is buried too much on the Silk Sonic mix.
She added a lot, in the best James Jamerson tradition, that is not in the original record.
@@SwiftSean11 Bass is usually buried more in the because it has to be played on different mediums and not sound messy. One can use a bass booster
@@dontbemad6460 this is a topic all it’s own. Back in the day the bass could not be too prominent due to vinyl. I love bass guitar, a nice kick drum, & low end in general. Amateur mixes will sound muddy, but there are modern mixes where the low end is clear & pumping.
