the soul and groove or pocket is what always attracted me to certain musicians... that drummer has IT ALL! Groove, chops, licks, pocket and anything else I could think of... he's so amazing... not to mention the rest of the band is just as amazing too
playing bass and singing at the same time is something i've never been able to do. drums, guitar, keys no problem. throw a bass in my hands i can no longer sing. this guy is insane.
Nobody saw what the bassist did. It's unfortunate that many comments couldn't understand the situation of this guy giving his best. It takes a damn courage to sing and still playing bass guitar with precision.
During this pandemic with the multiple lockdowns, I used to watch alone The Ultimate 80s Medley part 1 almost every single night in a loop for months and months ... It truly gave me hope, made me feel better and alive, and muted all the fear and loneliness which was stuck in my brain. It truly gave me a reason to "live" back then. The Ultimate 80s Medley part 2 is like a dream becoming true ! Now that we're almost back to the new normal, it feels like a new chapter full of hope opening ! What a brilliant performance, congratulations and thank you for recording it !
This band is fantastic, Ben Jud is a monster musician, great voice and groove, Felix is a drummer virtuoso, an Martin is the whole package, he sings, mixed everything, and is a guitar master, I'm really pleasured of listening and viewing this videos, I hope to see this band someday in live setting

@@fictor27 Is it really necessary to laugh at someone, simply because they dont share your opinion? Anyway, I agree that Careless Whisper was not great, he sounded quite strained in some parts, 14:22 for example. But overall still a decent performance in my opinion.
Martin if you read this - these medleys are the absolute bomb. Hope you guys keep making these for years to come. Must be a lot of fun to make. Every musician in this session is great and skilled at their instrument. The recording is also top notch and crisp. Happy times.

The quality of the artists in that room, the arrangements and the performance is out of this world. I'm speechless. Just the double guitar speed solos or the saxo/guitar conversation blew me away and this is only a part of it. Every single note is well placed and well played. Amazing.

I just wish Martin would let it rip a little more often. He’s a great vocalist, but I would love it if he put a little more “stank” in his vocal lines. Like in “Rebel Yell”. He sang it well, but I think it could have done with a little more “fry” in there. Just my opinion, though! They still played great! 🙂

Never has anyone came close to singing like Whitesnake, but the singing the best so far when you hit the high note was spine tingling!! Top notch musicians as well. Ok your take on Billie Jean was damn impressive. Loved how the bass was properly played with the double octave of the root. Even more impressive that it was sung at the same time.
Oh my gosh... the second solo on rebel yell!!! It would be incredible on it's own, but with the harmonics of both guitars and the blasting drums... blows me literally away. I'll have goosebumbs for the next couple of weeks!
The drummer is a fricking metronome! Excellent work again boys! PS. that synthesizer lineup makes me jealous. I only have a MIDI keyboard and plugins :(

Rarely does watching a single video entice me to subscribe to a channel, before I view other content on said channel. However, after viewing this mesmerizing cover of 80s hits on this one video, and the tremendous vocal and instrumental talent on display, I broke with my usual caution and immediately subscribed. The improvisation and arrangement, not to mention the glorious singing, is unrivaled among 80s cover bands, and this is coming from a person who subscribes to a lot of channels of super talented 80s cover bands. You guys really have set the standard by which all other bands, who seek to pay homage to the 80s, must measure themselves by!
@@YaoEspirito Having now delved into their channel and listened to a lot of Martin Miller and his talented ensemble's other covers, I can confidently say I am not disappointed. I am continually delighted and further impressed by the virtuosity of these instrumentalists, the impressive arrangements and improvisation, and the great singing on display. With all the negativity in this world, it is easy to become a pessimist. Yet, when exposed to talent like this, it makes me more optimistic about the world.

Rarely does watching a single video entice me to subscribe to a channel, before I view other content on said channel. However, after viewing this mesmerizing cover of 80s hits on this one video, and the tremendous vocal and instrumental talent on display, I broke with my usual caution and immediately subscribed. The improvisation and arrangement, not to mention the glorious singing, is unrivaled among 80s cover bands, and this is coming from a person who subscribes to a lot of channels of super talented 80s cover bands. You guys really have set the standard by which all other bands, who seek to pay homage to the 80s, must measure themselves by!
Wise choice; you will NOT be disappointed. Everything they touch is at this level.

I am continually delighted and further impressed by the virtuosity of these instrumentalists, the impressive arrangements and improvisation, and the great singing on display. With all the negativity in this world, it is easy to become a pessimist. Yet, when exposed to talent like this, it makes me more optimistic about the world.
