Plague inc should add different time periods to change it up. Imagine playing as the Spanish flu in a world that doesn’t have planes, harder to travel, infrequent boat travel, just like in real life at that time. Or a virus on Pangea. That kind of stuff

Your black death has a pretty historical start location. I think it started in central china historically.
It started spreading to people after the Mongols found that they could catapult infected corpses into cities that they were sieging to easily take them. I just forgot which cities they were...

Depends you have to save it until they have a high cure % like 60% for an example then I sets back almost 10 points

I think you can close an airport for a country, but I am not sure if you can remove airports in a fly while you are playing
MonsterMine2 Yes you can. There's a custom scenario called 'After The Plague' which closes all ports and the ports never open

Bubonic Plague has periodic outbreaks everywhere. California was fairly recent, and Madagascar had like 2k cases in 2017.

There is still a handful of people diagnosed with the Black Plague or bubonic Plague today but they simply treat it with antibiotics the only thing that makes it deadly is if it’s not treated fairly soon and some doctors won’t think about this possibility and think it’s something else

I'm really liking your content and strategies you put on this game, love your content dude, keep it up. Also kudos for this, I can imagine it can put pressure or stress at you in these scenarios so good job keeping your head on.
This was actually the second scenario or pathogen I beat on mega brutal. The first one was Neurax Worm because it was so easy. I tried the black death with multiple countries but Saudi-Arabia worked best as a starting country for me.
Plot twist: he played this on the weird area 51 pc
If you upgrade extreme zoonosis it can actually travel to the places without the need of planes borders or ships
Thank you so much for the walkthrough. I wasn’t able to beat this at first due to the islands not getting infected, but finally unlocked the water travel gene and was able to get beat it with 2 stars!

Extreme Zoonosis?
yersinia pestis is one of the best success stories of human ingenuity and science in history. I love the idea of it coming back but tbh common penicilin could easily kill any form of this bacteria. Its only real risk is if it goes directly to your bloodstream cuz you could die before you realize you have it and go to the doctor and get diagnosed. that form of black death kills in less than 2 days if i remember correctly.
