I mean, all of these diseases are scary. But this one is pretty damn disturbing. Don't just imagine seeing the people affected by the Pithovirus. Imagine yourself with bad gums, teeth falling out as a result. You drool commonly, and it hurts to eat. Your skin starts turning a pale yellow, and you forget things more often. You start to neglect cooking meat before eating it, and you generally don't take care of hygeine problems that used to concern you greatly. People around you die and have similar symptoms. You can start to feel your joints becoming more restricted, lowering mobility. You have trouble saying words. You start fighting and murdering people. You can feel your brain being squished by the overdevelopment of your skull.
Finally, you can't put two and two together on any of the trauma you've experienced. You're confused and afraid, but don't know what you fear. Paranoia can't manifest in you, but there's a pain in your soul as you become unwilling to answer the questions you used to ask yourself.
You no longer hold any of the horrific memories obtained during this transformation.
You no longer hold any memories at all, in fact, for more than a moment before something else in the environment catches your attention.
It's a cat. You don't have any compassion for it, no concept of cuteness. You only see a creature that can be consumed.
You sustain yourself and nothing more.
You are a Neanderthal.

Yeah this one scares me, I was looking through the symptoms and realised how horrific they are. Physical ailments are bad enough but ones that affect the brain come off as much more insidious.

Tech Master As you infect more people, the Transmissions, Symptoms and abilities will cost more.
For instance, a generic reshuffle may cost 14 DNA with less than 1,000 people infected, but as you infect more people the price will rise from 14 to some ridiculous amounts.
