For anyone wondering, they crack the eggs into a bowl in case there is a bad egg, or one with blood or other defect in it. If they get a bad egg, they only have to throw away what is contaminated in the bowl, and not the whole pot.
I can never understand people who don't eat bread's crusts. That's the best part of the bread, just like crispy skin is the best part of fried chicken.
Same! Do they just throw it out. I was hoping they might re-use the bread, dry it out and use it for breadcrumbs or something? The meat could be put in a dish for the staff maybe?
Your passion for street food is truly infectious! I admire the way you celebrate the diversity and creativity found in every corner of the street food scene. Keep up the fantastic work, and keep those delicious videos coming! 🍔🍦
A great chef is adept at handling many tasks at once. A single chef might be responsible for several elements of a meal that all need to come together at the same time, and he or she must be able to ensure everything is completed at just the right moment, and you're all about 🥰

@@jeffalessi If they don't use it in the restaurant for something, it is probably not worth their time to save it, store it, and sell it or give it away.
I would assume around 1000 yen ( something like 7-8 euros / dollars ) For Japanese, the packaging is part of the experience si they usually spend money on boxes and wrapping more than westerns

I do that at home all the time.
DUH !!!
@@808rebel4 See the last video where they did this, and read the comments where loads of people asked why.
Good comment, also if there is any shell fragment it is easier to get out of the small white bowl.

Grüße. Wissen Sie vielleicht woraus die Kruste besteht? Ich konnte es im Video nicht erkennen.
Delicious 😋😋😋
This would be even more delicious than a bologna sandwich 👍🏻
That’s the perfect toaster machine
Crust is the best part!
Do they waste that bit of pork that gets cut off with the crust?

Rerun? Directors Cut?🤨

What is the breading?
Panko bread crumbs.
All the vitamins are in the bread crusts
🇧🇷😋😍
What do they do with all the toast scrapes ?
They might have a use for it, but probably trash. Bread Pudding? Croutons?
Mountains Of Dog Food...

I would make 3-4 sandwiches out of a piece of meat that large.
But if you do that, the ratio of Pork / bread will change and you'll have much more bread than pork at each bite, changing the taste a lot.
Address please

Tonkatsu Marushichi
1-14-14 Tomioka, Koto-ku, Tokyo
why does he cut the rim of steaks?
When I crack just one egg, I need to remove ten fragments of egg shell.
The packaging alone probably costs $2! What is the price tag on a sandwich like that?
I would assume around 1000 yen ( something like 7-8 euros / dollars )

Great question
Wonder how much these boxed Tonkatsu sandwiches are selling for?
The cutlet is a lil too thick for a sandwich[for me]. It looks tasty though.
The meat looks so different then American pork. I wonder how it's processed differently in Japan.
some of these comments proves people will find reasons to complain about anything.
People and their deathly fear of bread crust 😬. Get a cup of soup to go with your meal and use it for dipping.
WTF are you talking about? Guess you’ve never been to Japan.
i hope they dont waste the bread and ends that they cut off
Why does the meat look gray and discolored?
i like a good food but that is cut a little to thick for a sandwich

Wheres all the teens at that work fast food an say they work real hard? Don't wanna watch a real cook do some real work?
Calm down. At least the kids know how to spell better than you, grandpa.
Man shut up you cranky old geezer
My definition of a sandwich is more than just bread and meat.
