Yummy" and when we told him he got mad and started making racist comments. so yeah that guy was trying to be Brady and Leon but just failed and blamed it on his viewers.
If anyone here has wanted something like leon as a pet, but a giant saltwater tank is too much for you, I recommend a regular crayfish from a local river/lake/swamp/pet/bait store. They are just as interesting but you can keep them confortably in a small freshwater tank. Dont even need a filter if you dont want one. You do need: a bubbler(they can breathe air if they have to and have a way to crawl onto land in the tank). Just get the bubbler. deep substrate+something to burrow under. personally I think leons enclosure is wrong in this regard. Give em at least as deep as the crayfish is long. Dont try to get live plants. Diet doesnt have to be all that varied tbh. I raised one last year on just mealworms and algae pellets.

Abandoned homes always elicit deep emotional curiosity. The story's. The people. The history. The questions. Why? When? I assume the answers are not what I want to hear. But I do find it fascinating. HOWWWW!?!?! 🙈 Brady... you're a magician when it comes to creating videos/editing etc 👏👏👏👏👏👏
You should get tested for ADHD. And if you don't have it, then you have had such bad habits that you've conditioned yourself to being unable to have even the attention span of a toddler. That's concerning but both can be helped with therapy, good luck.
@@greyscalesxsocial media. I’ve never got tik tok or whatever and I’ve been raised without electronics and such and everyone says I’m the weird one. Yet I’m the only person who can spend 30 minutes or hours and entertain myself, and my attention span is practically infinite.
The pretty new crab says his name is Beau but his friends can call him Bobo. He's exited about his new home. The tiny crab is Floyd. It's important to know that Floyd may seem socially awkward but he's really a courageous soul at heart. He appreciates the new neighbor even though he's a little too shy to show it. Leon doesn't like being bugged before his morning coffee. None of us do ;) Also, when lobsters and shrimp say no to oysters, they definately aren't as fresh as we'd like to think. You can rely on these guys for an expert opinion on that! 👍❤️
Leon is a really lucky lobster. Consider where he would have been, lucky to have nice caretaker, nice home as close as you could get to the ocean without being killed , great food, and nice little shrimp for company. I am so happy that he enjoys his environment and I think he is a happy lobster. Good going Dad.
You are amazing at finding the human aspect of everything whether it's Leon, the cats, an abandoned house, or ourselves. Great cinematographer and filmmaker too to tell the story.
7:27 I think the reason Leon is more active is probably because it is a combination of all of that. American Lobsters do love cooler water because they are found more north and are particularly more active when the water temperature is just right. I believe he is also loving the larger space and being able to move around more. Overall just seems happy and healthy, the only thing I can really think of to improve his life even more is a proper cave for him to hang out and sleep in. You’ve done an awesome job taking care of him Brady!
I cannot believe it’s been over a year already! Time flies when you’re having fun. I don’t think any of us ever expected to fall in love with a lobster. Brady, thank you as always for saving Leon and making him an ambassador. We have learned so much. We have 4 cats, we had 5 but our 2nd oldest passed away from cancer right before Christmas. It was rough. He was just so sweet. We rescue and foster but obviously we fail at times. 4 really is enough, 5 is just too man so we have to be careful not to completely fall in love with another foster. It’s hard. REALLY hard. We use the plastic zip ties and put all our cords together and also use boxes we got from Amazon to hide them in the areas they’re on the floor and exposed. Good luck with the wires!
*I hope that Brady sees your comment, because it is a great tip. I hope he knows that he is playing with fire by allowing them to chew on any cables!* Now I know that birds are not cats, but my parrot got zinc poisoning many years ago and he was on death’s door from that. I got very lucky to find a good vet that was able to save his life, but even with her help/her shots she gave me to inject in him everyday, I had to be by his side to vigilantly nurse him for a couple of weeks until he finally started making enough progress that I was finally hopeful he was going to recover. I am nearly positive that he must have gotten that metal poisoning from chewing on my cables, because I can’t think of anything else that could have caused it. Brady has to take the time to do what you suggested!
We need a permanent webcam set up in Leon's tank so we can just have a 24/7 "Leon Stream" and watch him, the glass shrimp, and the crabs all going about their day.
@@TheEternalGoth You have plenty of good ideas, if you're interested in watching these little guys in the ocean, maybe you've Heard about the Nautilus, they explore the ocean and it's Amazing, their TH-cam Channel is: EVnautilus.
Leon's keeper has discussed this idea in a video before. If I recall correctly, his response was "if I did that, there'd be me in my underpants on the camera every morning"
I saw Leon and the Glass Shrimp live in concert back in 1978. They were a thrash metal band, way ahead of their time. Nice tank I raise Neocaridina shrimp, I have 4 tanks of them.
This is such an uplifting and educational series. Leon is thriving! So grateful that you have brought this to us. Loved the kitty detail and the house exploration!!
LEON! He's looking fantastic, and very active. The new tank gives him so much room. Brilliant that you've introduced other sea creatures into the tank. I hope the glass shrimp eggs hatch, I'd love to see the babies. I'd call the unusual crab "Mark" ... after his unusual markings.
I've been going through a very dark time in my personal life for the last 3-4 months. Spending a few minutes watching Leon & Co & listening to your soothing voice has given me a precious few minutes where my mind could take a break from my troubles & focus on something more pleasant. I've gotta tell ya, Brady, it makes my heart warm and happy to see these marine creatures have good, comfortable homes. As someone who believes that everything has a life, even if we don't yet understand it, seeing the marine life being cared for the same way as caring for cats and dogs gives me hope in humanity. Thank you for being so kind and compassionate to ALL of your animals and plant life. I may not know you personally, but from what I've seen, you seem to have a caring, loving heart, and for that, you are awesome! And if you don't mind me asking, how's life going for you? I truly hope you are doing well! I do so enjoy how you've included the updates for all your animals, not just Leon (even though I still love and adore Leon), because I've developed a love for all of the other critters, too! I would love to know if those plants in your house are real or fake. If they're real, I'd love to know what kinds you have and how you care for them, if you don't mind sharing that information. Like I said, I believe all of nature has life beyond our comprehension, and I greatly appreciate, admire and respect those who care for those living things.

Leon looks so happy and healthy! Fantastic! 🥰 Funny that the shrimp and Leon rejected the canned food. Reminded me of a cat who lived at an animal hospital I worked at. I had gone across the street to get a burger from a family run restaurant and brought it back. I sat at the front desk and offered the kitty some of the burger. Cautiously she sniffed at it, hissed, gave it a whack.off the desk and ran away. 😳 She certainly knew something I didn't. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Thanks for the update on Team Leon! 😊
Your philosophy that everything and everyone has a story has helped me so much to cope with certain things. Love Leon and his tank fellows. I think you should call the new and cutie crab Shelby!
I absolutely love your cats,I’m a cat person and have had many in my 78 years. I used to give my cats grocery bags and could watch them play with them for hours. Thank you for saving all your cats from being homeless and sick👏🏼👍🏻another fun video 🤩👵🏻🇺🇸
I’m lovin’ how he buries some of his food to eat later, like a squirrel with nuts. I had to put a beloved dog to sleep exactly 3 years ago as of last night, due to lung cancer. On the anniversaries of his and his brother’s deaths, I hold a small personal candle light vigil and spend some time reminiscing... looking at photos and videos of them, feeling some of their soft curly hair I saved (they were Bichon Frises, so they had relaxed poodle hair basically), etc.. So last night I was watching a hilarious video of when my dog (the one who had passed 3 years ago) took one of his chicken strip treats and initially try to bury it in my bed in my sheets, so I removed it and put it back on his dinner plate because that is really gross to have in my bed! 😖 Then he took it and he tried to hide it underneath his little doggie stairs that he’d use to jump up on my bed… and once again I put it back on his dinner plate, sadly frustrating him. But he was determined! One last time he took it and tried to bury it in plain sight on my couch, but he used a tool from my bedroom to do it... From the ground in my closet, he hilariously grabbed a minuscule detached foam padding that usually lines the hangers we get from the dry cleaners, and used that to try to cover the chicken strip on the couch in the living room, because there was nowhere else to hide it since my apartment was really clean (and I’m sure he thought I wouldn’t see him do it because I was in bed in my bedroom). Lol. It was too dang adorable and I let him leave it there “hidden.” 😂 The look on his face was just so depressing and frustrated. Their eyes and expressions were always just so clear to me! I could always tell what they were thinking. He just really wanted to keep one chicken strip treat hidden to munch on later! Like Leon here. ;) After he was satisfied that the hanger foam was hiding it good enough, he went and chomped down the rest of the chicken strips that were on his dinner plate. Haha. So it wasn’t that he was full; he was simply planning ahead so he could grab a midnight snack later on while I slept. 😂
Of course he apologizes for his swearing in the bike video. A true gentleman. Just know there's nothing to apologize for. Anyone would swear when going through that. I'm so happy I got to watch a new Leon video today!!! Also love the cool light above his tank. Leon's living in style!❤❤❤
Such a soothing site to follow. Love Leon and the kits, but also the houses’ decor, the music, Brady’s voice and even the sponsors he chooses. An excellent production!
The updates on Leon and the kitties are such a treat 🥰 Edit: Congrats with the hellofresh sponsorship and for advice for your kitty cats: I highly recommend Jackson Galaxy here on TH-cam, i think he has tips for cables in a video about catproving your house 🐈⬛
He is spectacularly colorful now! It’s beyond insanely beautiful! He has colors that I would’ve never imagined a lobster could have… even a gorgeous blue! This is probably the healthiest lobster ever, and we humans usually only ever see dull half-dead ones (like he used to be in the grocery store), or full-dead ones.
I haven't been tuning in lately... but I'm really glad I did today. The fact that Leon interacts with you in any positive manner is truly remarkable. This series has redefined the idea of intelligence, empathy, and life itself for me.
I cannot express how much these videos mean to me! I saw the first Leon video during a very stressful semester of my college and have followed the journey ever since, especially during some of the more intensive weeks! Thank you Leon and Mr. Brandwood for the amazing content!
When I was a child I always felt sorrow for the lobsters and crabs plus other shellfish that I saw in the tanks at the grocery stores. The cruelty banded claws how they must feel is unimaginable. When you nursed Leon back to health it was a stressful time hopefully he would regain use in his limbs . Life is precious and you have given Leon a second chance. The more I see the cruelty we do to animals the more I think we have it all wrong . We have to re evaluate what food is. I had clams in my fish tank and I watched them for hours , they are also amazing . People rescue all kinds of animals and you rescued a lobster. Thank you.
I think eating meat is not wrong, it is a part of our biology and a part of nature. What is totally wrong is how we treat the animals before we eat them. Let's say you eat some wild boar meat, it didn't do anything differently than what it did the rest of its life and then it was just over (if it was dead in one shot), but the meat you can get at the supermarket is just cruel. How those animals have to live, what they have to eat, how they die...
I'm not a vet, but the last cat we adopted was spooky and chewed on towels all the time. It turned out she had feline resorptive tooth lesions and was in a lot of pain; after surgery to remove 13 teeth she became much happier, ate better and stopped chewing on towels.
Your voice is soothing and you make me laugh. He takes his dishes to the dishwasher or the junk pile. I like the way your mind works. Curious. Wanting to understand him better. Your not just some dude keeping a lobster to try to look cool and interesting. You are you and genuine. Thank you!💛 Heart of gold.
Love watching Leon's adventures. Have you considered getting a large flat rock and balancing it (securely) on two other rocks to give him a "hide"? Most lobsters in the wild live under shelves like that or in cave-like crevices.
This is exactly what I needed tonight! I love your stories, and all your companion animals! Thank you for rescuing so many kitties. Have you looked into setting up a streaming channel for Leon and the Glass Shrimp? I used to watch a channel of just shrimp swimming around a tank; it was so relaxing! Had around 50k followers, too! A way to share your journey with more people! Have a wonderful night! Much love to Leon n the gang.
Wow, Brady, this is so beautifully shot. Leon's colors really pop with the dark background. The glass shrimp are amazing! I feel sorry for the little fish, can you put it in another aquarium? Love all of the cats, they are so interesting. Those dolls and stuffed animals at the abandoned house are 😢. Again, this was a wonderful update and enjoyable video to watch.
Those tiny crabs and shrimp might seem insignificant in a big tank but I’m convinced they bring Leon a lot of joy because there’s always something going on, nothing gets predictable.
Brady, I think you're doing a great thing by producing all these videos. It's fun, informative, wholesome, and I think you'd be surprised to find out how meaningful it is on many levels for people to see something as simple as a grocery store lobster live its everyday life.

I've just realized... usually, I am unable to watch a 5 minute video without getting bored and wanting to move on to something else... and here I am... watching a super calming video about a lobster for 20+ minutes!!!!!! HOWWWW!?!?! 🙈 Brady... you're a magician when it comes to creating videos/editing etc 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Yay I'm so happy you get some sponsors for your videos! You deserve it for bringing Leon to the world!
Okay...the new crab has beautiful markings...almost half moons....call it Luna! Great to see Leon doing well! 😇❤️
Crescent!
None of us do ;)
Also, when lobsters and shrimp say no to oysters, they definately aren't as fresh as we'd like to think. You can rely on these guys for an expert opinion on that! 👍❤️
Can we talk about how good Brady has gotten at filming!
Happy to have a sponsored video from you. Glad you are being rewarded for such good, wholesome content. Well done and go Leon!
He woulda been dinner :(
He be in a boiling pot, day 1
You are amazing at finding the human aspect of everything whether it's Leon, the cats, an abandoned house, or ourselves.
Yep, he definitely needs a proper cave.
I see Leon video I click. Thank you for sharing these stories.
Brady, your appreciation and love for all the critters gives me such hope and inspiration! Thank you.
I hope he knows that he is playing with fire by allowing them to chew on any cables!*
Now I know that birds are not cats, but my parrot got zinc poisoning many years ago and he was on death’s door from that.
Good idea, but maybe not 24 hours, I think they also need to be in the darkness like when thery are in the ocean.
@@jjhh375 Night vision camera
@@TheEternalGoth You have plenty of good ideas, if you're interested in watching these little guys in the ocean, maybe you've Heard about the Nautilus, they explore the ocean and it's Amazing, their TH-cam Channel is: EVnautilus.
This is actually a really awesome idea, I hope Leon’s dad sees this because I would totally tune in from time to time.
Nice tank
I raise Neocaridina shrimp, I have 4 tanks of them.
You're the only guy , that does a promotion and it doesn't bother me 🙂 love you all!
This is such an uplifting and educational series. Leon is thriving! So grateful that you have brought this to us. Loved the kitty detail and the house exploration!!
I want to see Leon eat a live clam/oyster.
Man I do hope that house doesn't have Asbestos in the walls anymore or Brandy just walked into a huge health hazard...
@@BestSomebodyNA the meth heads that stripped the copper pipes out got a large exposure, I'm sure.
It's always a great day when a new Leon video comes out. Thank you for sharing him and his amazing journey with us.
LEON! He's looking fantastic, and very active. The new tank gives him so much room. Brilliant that you've introduced other sea creatures into the tank. I hope the glass shrimp eggs hatch, I'd love to see the babies. I'd call the unusual crab "Mark" ... after his unusual markings.
Omg! Love the Leon show. 😍😍❤️
I've been going through a very dark time in my personal life for the last 3-4 months. Spending a few minutes watching Leon & Co & listening to your soothing voice has given me a precious few minutes where my mind could take a break from my troubles & focus on something more pleasant. Thank you for giving me that as it has not been easy for me to take focus off my troubles at all so any bit of relief is priceless to me. What you said about the resilience of life really struck a chord with me today. You & Leon are so valuable in ways you don't even realize. Please don't stop doing what you're doing. I know I'm not the only one for who these videos mean so much ❤️🦞❤️🐱❤️🤵❤️

I hope you find peace and recovery. Blessings to you dear child. ♥️🙏🏻
Any day there’s a video about Leon, that’s a good day.
I love that Leon seem to be pretty familiar with you now. He looks comfortable and happy. It brings joy to my heart that he has a nice life now.
He looks HOMESICK! 🤢🤮🤮
i wanna grow up to be this man, plants, cats, an adorable pet lobster, a calm and peaceful presents, living with my current gf and having a wonderful view on life, thank you for being a wonderful inspiration as in figuring things out and trying to go about and figure out life i truly appreciate it and i wish you, your gf your cats and Leon all the best in your lives :)
Your a guardian of nature. Please keep Leon safe. I would love to see him in a bigger tank.
Leon looks so happy and healthy! Fantastic! 🥰
Funny that the shrimp and Leon rejected the canned food.
She certainly knew something I didn't.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for the update on Team Leon!
God Bless you for rescuing these furbabys and Leon.
Please keep uploading Leon videos. They give us life.
This series has taught us so much about all animals have intelligence and personality. Thank you, for this.
LEONS COLORS ARE ABSOLUTELY GEORGOUS!!
The updates on Leon and the kitties are such a treat 🥰
Edit:
Congrats with the hellofresh sponsorship and for advice for your kitty cats: I highly recommend Jackson Galaxy here on TH-cam, i think he has tips for cables in a video about catproving your house 🐈⬛

Oh, ditto on recommending Jaxson Galaxy's channel. He's the ultimate cat whisperer.
Leon coloring is beautiful! I didn't realize how many colors lobsters can have.
Never get tired of Leon
leon just makes me happy
Yay!!! You do still have him!!!!!💜💜💜💜💙💙💙💙
Leon seems to have more vibrant colours in the new tank or maybe it’s the lights. It is so nice to see him enjoying the new home and friends.
Brady.... Love the updates. Leon has become Family to so many of us. Thanks.
I haven't been tuning in lately... but I'm really glad I did today. The fact that Leon interacts with you in any positive manner is truly remarkable. This series has redefined the idea of intelligence, empathy, and life itself for me.
You are a very kind and compassionate human being! I wish you rescued humans also!
It's amazing how wholesome it is just to catch up with Leon and check in on him. Thanks so much for sharing him with us!
Every Leon video is an instant watch!
leon is such a cool character
Leon is thriving! His colors are so bright now!
I couldn't help to look to Google life expectancy of lobster. I was amazed to see 100 years.
The end was like a cool bachelor walking down a boardwalk. That beat! That tank! That lobster strut!
I cannot express how much these videos mean to me! I saw the first Leon video during a very stressful semester of my college and have followed the journey ever since, especially during some of the more intensive weeks! Thank you Leon and Mr. Brandwood for the amazing content!
I’m happy for you! Big healthy lobster, new sponsorship, and a nice home life.
@@The_Linux_User Yeah this is why I look forward everyday till the day I have my property and can grow and raise my own food.
Ive to search leon back after just watched iphone 14 ads. Haha i was shooketh with that tie R.I.P. Leon. Glad leon is still okay❤
I love the Leon updates. You're doing a wonderful thing, Brady. Thank you.
I live for these videos about Leon
Leon has such beautiful, vibrant colours!
i’ve been watching Leon since the beginning..his videos have become better and better…❤
great job Brady, please tell Leon “thanks”.
All those plants AND cats!?! Magic!
Leon’s a very tidy boy! That little crab is adorable!
Love seeing Leon and the other pets! Should name the new little crab Smiley with the white shape looking like a smile when looking down. :-D
Always a good to see Leon my favorite lobster.
Out of all the things in all the dimensions leons growth is most amusing
Brady, I think you're doing a great thing by producing all these videos. It's fun, informative, wholesome, and I think you'd be surprised to find out how meaningful it is on many levels for people to see something as simple as a grocery store lobster live its everyday life.
