Thank you for sharing this with us! I can't wait to make it.
Crumbling tofu to match the texture of the egusi is interesting. I'll have to try that! I love egusi so much though and I eat so much tofu that I feel like I'll recognize the tofu too much and it'll throw me haha
Since were all here i couldnt imagine eating so much meat in one meal and every recipe ive seen used cow stomach which i cannot stand the look of, i really hope i can try to make this one day.
I love this!! I’m Ghanaian and looking to cut out meat gradually, this is genius! The tofu was chef’s kiss because I’m not vegan, so I do get a tad nervous about protein intake, so thank you for that! Gonna try this wk and see how it goes
easier way to cut bell peppers - stand pepper up, with your knife in a vertical position cut around the stem, pull stem and the seedy part inside will also be removed - then slice in half the long way, turn each pepper half cut side down and spank your pepper (the remaining seeds will fall out), then cut as usual.
I like you already! You're such a peaceful soul!
Afia! I'm back here about to make this recipe! 🙌🏿
Thank you very much 🙏🏻 Great explanation and useful information.. I am Iraqi vegan but I also love African food😻
You made it look easy lol. I’m going to try this recipe and I can only hope it comes out close to what I’ve had before
this looks so healthy! ❤
it is a good way to teach us i will try it as soon as possible .
This makes me really wish we had African resturant where I live. All these different spices would love to try while at the same time I would hate to pay so much and find the tastes are too different for my palate.
This looks perfect 😊
This looks so delicious! And trying it with beans sounds like a great idea
can’t wait to make this!!!
I'm all about this.
Nice one. The crumbled tofu is a genius idea. Where do you buy the dried mushrooms?
Hi!! I get them at the Chinese supermarkets!
by 1tsp mushroom and nori powder, do you mean blending dried mushrooms and nori to make the powder?
@@harryjames8247 yes
I'm going to try this. Do you made stew?
I feel like these ingredients are really hard to find we'll in new Zealand anyway
Outside of Africa the ingredients for most African dishes are hard to find. You have to go to a specialty store/African market.
Wäre do i get the spices 🤔
Please 🙏 I'm not fton africa can you mention me the spice that you mix like this I can ask my husband to bring it for me when he come thank you cause I highly allergic with fish
everything is listed in the blog post. Please check the caption of the video :)
Girrrrl where can I buy these ingredients?
@@harryjames8247 African store
@@eatwithafia I also live in Canada. Do you have any names that you would recommend? I am from the GTA area
Allergic to hot chili peppers (asthma) and if I leave out the scotch bonnet will it still be good?
Yeah
We been eating like this in nature?
I'm confused by your comments. So are you Nigerian or Ghanaian?
i am 100% Ghanaian
I just searched is red Palm oil a safe for pregnancy and actually it's good for vitamin A in pregnancy who would know 😊
lots of west Africans know. Palm nut soup is given to a lot of breastfeeding mothers too 😊
