I made this cake and it is amazing. It came out exactly like in the video. Honestly is doesnt have very much chocolate flavour, so I personally think the chocolate chips on top are a must have. Without the chocolate chips it is still good, just not as good as it could be. I would put 1,5/2 times the amount of chocolate chips on top for extra flavour. It is really airy and amazing. I have never made a castella before, but it still came out super moist and fluffy. (By the way when you check your cake with a skewer it doesnt have to be completely clean, otherwise your cake will be dry). Sorry for my English haha

I did forget to pre heat my oven though. But it still ended up good. My family says it’s the best chocolate cake they’ve ever had. My little brother said it was a deluxe version of a cake mug? I’ll take it as a compliment ‘cause he’s obsessed with those😅
