@@jovpp6386I completely understand what I saw from the video.. If I had to make my comment longer., should have been this---starch (flour) serves as the stopper (coz it thickens the sauce).. thus, hindi na aabsorb ng pasta noodles lahat ng sauce which makes your carbonara creamier!

All I know about carbonara is using egg yolks not cream..I might call this pasta Alfredo..I have nothing against his recipe please don't get me wrong..but it will create a confusion between pasta carbonara and pasta Alfredo..one time I made some pasta carbonara using guanciale, parmesan and egg yolk,my friend was looking at me and says that I forgot to put nestle cream🙄.

Nothing against recipe evolution pero carbonara na naman tawag porket puti. Pwede namang white pasta or creamy pasta lang itawag. Respeto na lang din sa origin ng carbonara.
You are very correct in a technical sense. But in the philippines, what we call carbonara has cream unlike the orgininal version. So sorry if that offends you.

That is the farthest thing from a Carbonara. That is garlic, onion, ham and mushroom gravy tossed with over-cooked pasta.
