the thing makes me bit confident for our team is that in order for mavs to win, luka and kyrie has to play perfect every game whereas for us the weight of the pressure spread to 5 guys, thus bit more room for errors compared to dallas. Celtics in 6 ☘
After JB stripped Luka in the backcourt and kept full court pressure on, he got knocked down hard on a pick at half court. It was clean and Jaylen was down for the whole next play. It didn't slow JB down at all, he's too focused.
I mean we're going to have to see the mavs play the Celtics better than they have in the first 3 games they have played this year as the Celtics margin of victory is like an average of 18.
It's also true that Boston gives everybody a chance once on their own court. They gifted Mavs a sloppy 3rd, tons of turnovers.. and Dallas traveled this fighting chance away. If Mavs do not steal a game in TD, they might not even get a game 6. Because, somehow, Celtics are better on the road.
All those DELUSIONAL mavs fan who probably never watched a Celtics game all year just saw why they are the best team and heavy favorites. Celtics in 5 mavs win game 3(maybe)
You mean bombing 3s and getting shit calls? Celtics didn’t win this game mavs lost. Everyone played like shit(some of that was the defense from the Celtics a lot of it was from mavs playing like shit)
Gafford getting so many fouls so early killed the defense for the mavs. Kleber was AWFUL on both ends of the floor. Lively was forced to be the main defensive guy and got understandably cooked by the the bigger wings/bigs. If kleber has to play 15+ mins per game, celtics win the series
Prozingas is the key he can destroy the Mavs whenever they switch on to him with a smaller guy. Not to mention he a great rim protector meaning it’s going to be hard for the Mavs to get to the basket and get some lobs. Also Porzingas forcing the Dallas bigs to move out is also a huge advantage as well This series isn’t over because Luka was cooking this game so the Celtics need to do a better job in slowing him down. But Funky you should be confident in your team especially if Porzingas can give you similar production like this off the bench
Switching killed us and not being able to close out the corners, zones are exposing Luka and Kyries defensive liabilities, Kyrie is great on one on one transition defense the 1st qt was the game
The difference is the c’s are just playing hard without drama vs gobert with the dirty plays I think luka turns it up when he’s done wrong and the fans are letting kyrie have it versus him having it normally. Just my 2 cents.
KP really killed Dallas in Game 1 but he won’t do that the whole series. He’s the definition of a rhythm player and credit to him, he got into rhythm early in the game but not gonna do it consistently
Yeah had a feeling the Celtics would dominate game 1. The Mavs have been bad early into series this post season. I worry for the Celtics sake that when the pressure starts mounting if they’ll be able to handle it.
When has KP shown to be consistent? He made it out of a game without an injury! There you go...something positive. Adjustments will me made, obviously. I'm going to say the same thing about Kyrie...when has he been consistent? Twelve points? Looking forward to the rest of the series. Let's all enjoy it.

Celtics are just too talented. In a 7 games series you trust DWhite, Jrue, Porzingis more than Gafford, Lively, Washington, Jones. Celtics can play fire with fire with the Mavs because they have so many weapons. Having KP back makes it so the Celtics not only can beat you from 3 but also KP can attack mismatches down low and shoot over the smaller guard. This is still a series but game 2 is a must win for Dallas. Will see though i expected boston to win game 1. Mavs always lose game 1 and come back to win game 2 but the C's are different.

Kyrie really folded during that run Dallas had to get it down to 8, he missed 2 totally wide open threes during it that could’ve had the game cut back down to 2, after game 1 you have to favour the Celtics but there are still adjustments the mavs should be able to make
They defend Luka how the warriors always gaurd harden in the playoffs let Luka get his switch and getting drawn in a one on one game against Boston instead of trying to involve pj and Derrick jones and the others they have to play hardy and Tim hardeway jr on in for more offense
Can Tatum stop stat padding in garbage time please? He doesn't deserve FMVP. This game was all Porzingis and Jaylen Brown. They were literally running plays for Tatum up 20 points with like 5 minutes left against third stringers lmao. Every other starter was on the bench
wtf are u crying about? he took 1 shot in the last 5 mins of the game. how bout the mavs stop triple teaming him every time he gets into the paint and maybe they dont give up so many open threes.
Dallas bigs have zero influence in this series, this feels like regular game from this season between this two, Kyrie playing bit emotional and irrational, Luka having to score 35+ for nothing because Celtics have best switch defence in the league, only teams that i saw giving problems to this Celtics were healty Bucks and Nuggets, this will be quick 5 game series
No excuses. Celtics (especially KP in the first half) just dominated. The only thing I can complain about is the officiating in the first 3 qtrs. And that's not why we lost. But Jrue Holiday can't have as many free throws as Kyrie and Luka COMBINED thru 3 qtrs. That's a fing joke. Especially when they have like 4 times the amount of shots. Even with how terrible this game was, it wouldn't shock me at all to see it 1-1 after Sunday night. We have a horrible patter of getting destroyed in game 1, and then coming back and taking game 2. Outside of the Minny series, that's pretty much our MO..
@@mattpassos5689 lol no. I saw Kyrie and Luka tumble down behind the backboard plenty of times. Look at how many blocks the Celtics had in the first 3 qtrs. No fouls on any of those?? 🙄

All this and didn’t mention we were up 25 when they pulled starters. We played much better than a 1 point difference in quarters 2-4
Idk how people genuinely thought they were underdogs lol. Still rooting for the Mavs but the Celtics are undeniable
no one thought they were “underdogs” lmao
Nobody likes the Celtics, everyone wants the Mavs to win but the Cs were never underdogs lmfao
@@bigredracecar27 The Mavs' are the fan favorites but the Celtics is the big dog here not the underdog 😂

@@Nice-sm5hr brother half of Twitter was calling them underdogs lol

and that gives them no shot
They all hardly shot the ball
the thing makes me bit confident for our team is that in order for mavs to win, luka and kyrie has to play perfect every game whereas for us the weight of the pressure spread to 5 guys, thus bit more room for errors compared to dallas. Celtics in 6 ☘
Exactly. Five fingers form a fist
@@keshifiedso cringe
Luka cooking the entire league with a double chin is the best thing ever
Celtics have shown ability to let down, but have the same exact ability to respond. Deadly.
It’s a game of runs
After JB stripped Luka in the backcourt and kept full court pressure on, he got knocked down hard on a pick at half court. It was clean and Jaylen was down for the whole next play. It didn't slow JB down at all, he's too focused.
People to need realize this is not the same Celtics team. There is a big fucking different in Marcus smart and robert Williams to KP and Jrue Holiday
JB finals MVP! GO BEARS!
Would like to remind everyone that the Mavs consistently play their worse in game 1
KP and Brown went stupid this game tho, props to them
I mean we're going to have to see the mavs play the Celtics better than they have in the first 3 games they have played this year as the Celtics margin of victory is like an average of 18.
@@deadlylightningspirit4295 copium lol
@@deadlylightningspirit4295cope of hell mavs got worked keep crying 😭
@@deadlylightningspirit4295 Tatum and brown had bad games Luka almost scored 40 and they lost by 20, this series is beyond over.
@@Trashpanda887yby that dumbass logic, nobody besides luka had even a decent game. You think they're gonna shoot 5-24 from 3 again in game 2?
Gafford getting so many fouls so early killed the defense for the mavs. Kleber was AWFUL on both ends of the floor. Lively was forced to be the main defensive guy and got understandably cooked by the the bigger wings/bigs. If kleber has to play 15+ mins per game, celtics win the series
Porzinggod cooking luka
Prozingas is the key he can destroy the Mavs whenever they switch on to him with a smaller guy. Not to mention he a great rim protector meaning it’s going to be hard for the Mavs to get to the basket and get some lobs. Also Porzingas forcing the Dallas bigs to move out is also a huge advantage as well
This series isn’t over because Luka was cooking this game so the Celtics need to do a better job in slowing him down.
But Funky you should be confident in your team especially if Porzingas can give you similar production like this off the bench
If THJ gets hot he could be good, but idk who he will be guarding... or if kleber gets hot on 3s
JB & KP are the teams best players. Tatum is not a superstar.
How many lobs did the mavs have in this one?
Good win. 3 more to go! Lock the fuck in!
Yeah had a feeling the Celtics would dominate game 1. The Mavs have been bad early into series this post season. I worry for the Celtics sake that when the pressure starts mounting if they’ll be able to handle it.
Shoutout Tingis Pingis!
When has KP shown to be consistent? He made it out of a game without an injury! There you go...something positive. Adjustments will me made, obviously. I'm going to say the same thing about Kyrie...when has he been consistent? Twelve points? Looking forward to the rest of the series. Let's all enjoy it.
Porzingas is awesome man..too bad he got hurt too much in Dallas
"hurt". He didn't play like this but one game in those 2 playoff series against the clippers. Where was he when we needed him? He does so much load management, it makes Kawaii look like pre school.
@@suprcrzyHe just had his healthiest season(s) in Washington and he was being misused in Dalls. I remember him recovering from injuries in Dallas and it just didn't help the situation
Comparing his load management to kawhi's considering he doesn't even do any just makes me not take you seriously lol@@suprcrzy

This is the nest game he will have in the series unfortunately
In the future we will hear, “you do not understand how good tingus pingus was”. Whole NBA forgot the celtics weren’t fully healthy the whole time.
Mavs also played terribly, win is a win and we will see how they respond in game 2
2nd-4th quarters were close, i don't think it's over for Dallas yet
it's relevant if this was a close game
So far Tingus is the MvP of the series both offensively and defensively and he only played 21 mins.
The only reaction I wanna watch.

that run that dallas went on was not concerning to me at . Celtics are too dominant. 🍀
I’m from New York and bro I gotta watch you at .75 you was talking at like 2.0 speed by default
Luka vs Celtics going as expected. Not even Luka vs Tatum that man had like 3 points for most of the game
That’s what happens when you have 4 ppl on you and the other team leaves open all shooters , terrible game plan. But at least it makes Tatum look bad to the typical casual
@@playoffp2024 I never said he was bad I said he didn’t have to put nearly as much effort into the win. Which he didn’t. Luka has not been able to coast for a single game this postseason as much as Tatum just did in Game 1 of the Finals.
Especially since I believe the Celtics hasn’t lost a road game in these playoffs
What a plot twist… Porzingis, Lukas ex, might be the key piece to Luka losing his first ring...
And if Kyrie keeps playing like that, he will win Brown his first ring.

bring back the 2k rebuilds🗣️🗣️🗣️
Kyrie really folded during that run Dallas had to get it down to 8, he missed 2 totally wide open threes during it that could’ve had the game cut back down to 2, after game 1 you have to favour the Celtics but there are still adjustments the mavs should be able to make
They defend Luka how the warriors always gaurd harden in the playoffs let Luka get his switch and getting drawn in a one on one game against Boston instead of trying to involve pj and Derrick jones and the others they have to play hardy and Tim hardeway jr on in for more offense
Someone tell Kyrie that the Celtics are vaccinated and he’ll start taking over, no worries 💪💪
Kyrie and complementary players gotta play better. Also, the Mavs should make their threes.
A 7'2 who hits at around 30ft 3's? Good luck Dallas!!
brown will be finals MVP
Can Tatum stop stat padding in garbage time please? He doesn't deserve FMVP. This game was all Porzingis and Jaylen Brown. They were literally running plays for Tatum up 20 points with like 5 minutes left against third stringers lmao. Every other starter was on the bench
wtf are u crying about? he took 1 shot in the last 5 mins of the game. how bout the mavs stop triple teaming him every time he gets into the paint and maybe they dont give up so many open threes.
Why not get more reps
Jrue, Brown, White, and Al Horford aren't starters? Because they were all on the court…

Those guys were shooting 3s and midrange all night, especially kyrie so I'm not surprised
@@mattpassos5689 lol no. I saw Kyrie and Luka tumble down behind the backboard plenty of times. Look at how many blocks the Celtics had in the first 3 qtrs. No fouls on any of those?? 🙄

Mavs are good but they beat a tired team that had a tough series vs the previous champions and a young OKC team no experience....
