man hurts more when you are a Dallas fan and now your favorite TH-camr rejoices your lost. Kidd did not adjust at all, did not call time out when we were close by 8 in the 4th, allowed the Luka trap to work and the lively travel by not calling time out, kyrie played for Boston and nobody was hitting 3s for Dallas , just Luka some.

Boston kinda reminds me of those Spurs teams back in 2013 and 2014... Maybe a bit more athletic and spry, less experienced, but outside of that, both teams were running a rotation of 7, 8 guys deep that excelled in their roles... For Spurs it was mainly Duncan, Ginobili, Parker, Kawhi, Danny Green, Splitter, Diaw, Neal, Bonner... For the Celtics it's Tatum, Brown, Jrue, White, Horford, Porzingis, Hauser, Pritchard.
Getting 6 guys on the same time at the same time, that are like all-stars or strong starting caliber players, and a few good bench options is probably harder to achieve than signing a superstar duo/trio... It's hard to hold on to a plethora of talented players and make them accept smaller roles so that the sum of the parts can be better.

This is not the Timberwolves who lets be honest, are VERY good defensively, but if Ant and KAT aren’t scoring who else can? The Celtics have 6 guys legitimately who can go for 20+ on any given night, and the Mavs and Luka can’t hide on defense. Personally I don’t care if Luka gets 30+ because he probably will. But if Tatum, Brown, and anyone else in the starting 5 get 20+ it doesn’t much matter. Idk why this Celtics team gets so much disrespect. 2-4th quarters were split by 1 point, the celtics made outrageous plays in the first quarter, but this is gonna be tight, its going to depend on driving and kickouts to get defences in rotation. On the defensive end the Celtics were fabulous and with a great game plan. I m interested to see how the adjustment battle goes down, Dallas are probably going to start fighting over screens a lot more so Celtics should be able to drive more, just have to be precise and as I said, catch them in rotation and make 3s. Got to keep going at luka on the offensive end and as bad as it sounds, make him work as much as possible on that end of the floor, specially with the knee injury in order to tire him out on the other end and therefore limit what he can do offensively

Celtics are just too talented. In a 7 games series you trust DWhite, Jrue, Porzingis more than Gafford, Lively, Washington, Jones. Celtics can play fire with fire with the Mavs because they have so many weapons. Having KP back makes it so the Celtics not only can beat you from 3 but also KP can attack mismatches down low and shoot over the smaller guard. This is still a series but game 2 is a must win for Dallas. Will see though i expected boston to win game 1. Mavs always lose game 1 and come back to win game 2 but the C's are different.

Even with how terrible this game was, it wouldn't shock me at all to see it 1-1 after Sunday night. We have a horrible patter of getting destroyed in game 1, and then coming back and taking game 2. Outside of the Minny series, that's pretty much our MO..
