offensively there have been more spectacular eruptions. but this one from KP was offensive and defensive effort. top NBA center player for sure. Jokic can't provide such defense. but Embiid is not as much a volume shooter from three point line and beyond. Janis is not playing center position and has no reliable jump shot anyway. then who else is out there to challenge Jokic, Embiid and Porzingis for TOP3 NBA center player? and what is funny is that all three of them are not American. it seems that overseas basketball schools can develop modern big man talent.

@@arisplugis5197 KP healthy is an absolute monster. I really havn't thought of many other 10 minute stretches in NBA history, when I made the comment I just knew it's hard to beat what he did in game 1 of a close game coming off the bench, and not playing for over a month before. He was on fire on offense and his defense was outstanding and was huge for momentum. The atmosphere was crazy and with the added spice of playing against his old team it was just a moment i'll never forget. This game just shows how much of a force KP can be when he has it going

Porzingis gives a LOT of trouble to the Mavs. First of all, Mavs are undersized and Celtics are all lengthy and with the addition of a 7 ft 3 Porzingis, they have so much protection in the paint. It is literally almost impossible for the Mavs to score in the paint. Luka usually makes his plays and shots by boxing out a smaller guard and outpowering him into the paint where he can go for a drive, jump shot, or an easy lob. However, Porzingis can just take one step forward and Luka doesn't have a good vision for a shot and his lobs can be easily blocked by Porzingis. Luka, then has to settle for a long 2 or a 3 which are his weaknesses. Kyrie can shoot the ball well, but he isn't a spotup shooter. He has to dribble around bigger and stronger guards which will take away his stamina and even though he has a crazy layup package, it is still intimidating and hard to always get a basket around the rim when Porzingis is there. As for the other Mavs players, they are undersized and weak compared to the Celtics team and the Celtics team would rather let them have the ball instead of Ky and Luka. There's a reason why Mavs have lost all their games with Celtics this season. This should be an easy 4-1 and at max 4-2 win for Cetlics.

Wow! What a monster performance! And he did it all in just 21 minutes of playing time. Imagine if he can extend that to at least quality 25 minutes. It could make a massive difference in the rest of the series and bring us one step closer to that coveted banner 18. Go C’s! 💚

Because they got Porzingis. If KP wasn't on the Celtics they wouldn't win a championship. 2022 is the proof with Tatum and brown not being able to get it done

This Boston team isn't messing around.tatum the leader knows when and how to activate his team to go amok when necessity dictates for it .and with porzingis making his tall presence felt . With brown on the flank .even kyrie Irving can't underestimate the triple threat from the Celtics juggernauts .

Man I love KP but I get so nervous every time he lands. Just stay healthy for this one series, that’s all we need. The mavs cannot beat the Celtics with Porzingis
