@@toonskiduniyan cant give a proper review coz this is my first time buying a "decent" headset and i havent tried other headsets with the same price range but in my opinion:
in terms of gaming (csgo, valorant and r6 siege) the headset is nice and the soundstage works fine imho, you can pin point where the noise is sound is coming from, base on my experience ofc.
and in terms of music at this price range i love it, the way it produces the bass is alright for me idk for other people tho coz the AsusTUF H3 is a gaming headset not a music headset.
overall if youre on a budget i would recommend Asus TUF H3. But if you have extra money to spend then in my opinion go for DROP + EPOS PC38X or EPOS H6PRO. Im planning to buy EPOS H6PRO (closed-back version) as my next headset.

My H3's microphone is awfully quiet, I don't know why, but everywhere everything is at maximum.

Why does the earcup in your thumbnail has the ASUS logo, but in the video has TUF logo?
If I remember correctly(been a while since I did this video) it says ASUS on one side, and the Tuf logo on the other

Yes. If you plug into a TRRS jack, a splitter is not needed

ok so i have an question, im looking to buy a wireless headset for my console and im stuck in between the h3 wireless and the pulse 3d which would you recommend?
Hmm I've heard the pulse 3d's are pretty solid. If the wireless version of the H3 is as good as the wired, then I would say you for sure can't go wrong there!
Does h3 has 7.1?

Hmm I would check your sound settings on windows and make sure something there isn’t causing playback through your mic

Hmm sadly i don’t have experience with either, so it would be hard to give an honest recommendation
i would say steelseries arctis 7 but its expensive, please tell me if u have some info about h3 wireless
can someone help? just received a pair of this as a gift. Headphones work flawlessly, but microphone output is so low that unless I have it directly touching my lips you almost can't hear anything. I did all the usual troubleshooting and settings checks. Is it broken? :/
Hmm what platform are you using these on? You may need to contact ASUS and see if you can exchange

You could try using a plugin to EQ the mic, or maybe look into getting a sound card

Do not get these headphones. I am a ASUS fan, but this product is terrible. The mic sucks. Theres a delay from talking in the mic to you hearing yourself and sounds like an echo. You cannot escape your mic picking up keyboard strokes and pissing everyone off.
I dont think I have loaded Armoury Crate even 1 time without me having to update a driver on the headphones until i can use the interface to play with settings. What are all these updates for? they dont change my experience. The battery is shit, lasts about 6 hours and you cant plug it in to continue playing if it goes dead mid game. The interface is shit, constantly buffering. Absolute waste of money.
I came from Corsair HS70 and they are by far a superior headset.

Are the earpads replaceable?
Not on these sadly. Maybe with some careful modding, but it wouldn’t be worth it ultimately

I sadly haven't tried Krakens. The H3's were very solid though. So you for sure can't go wrong with those!

Cloud 2 is almost double in price
There is no match of hyper x cloud 2
They'll for sure be one of my all time favorites!
H3's mic is better
It’s impressive! I love that cheaper headsets are starting to get really good mics these days.
I own asus h3...the bass is not that good but clarity is very good

@@tankeryy1566 depends...if you are into bass I don't think this is for you...imo gaming headset not very good for music...of you want a pair of headset mainly for music you should go brands like JBL or marshall

Can i cut off the mic?
You should be able to without affecting the headset. If you do, i would recommend using a splitter so it doesn’t try to pickup a signal from the mic
