Stay away from the Razer BlackShark V2 Pros. They all break by the cheap plastic holding the bottom of the headband by the earcup. It’s happening very often to many users… mine lasted 5 months
I’m looking out for a good wireless headset and yea mic could be important for me and I’ve seen all the bad comments (on internet) about the pros but none about the hyperspeed, the yokes are thinner but maybe the rest have better build quality ?
they will only break if you try to break them, i had the old version (not 2023) and it lasted me over 2 years before the left ear audio stopped working
The mic test would work a lot better for me if I heard the man speak through it, since I've heard his voice through the normal mic. I don't have a point of comparison for her, since I don't know what she normally sounds like. I can't tell if she normally sounds kinda stuffy/ muffled, or if the mics are doing it. No insult intended.
Totally agree with this comment. She has a very nasally voice, not ideal for when we want to listen to the microphone quality of each headset. She makes it seem like the all microphones are crap 👎🏽
My Razer BlackShark V2 Pro 2023 Edition headset broke after about 9 months of use. Right ear cup broke off. No rough usage, just normal taking it off and putting it on. I've read it's a pretty common issue.
I guess it is pretty common lol. Just happened to me yesterday. They lasted 5-6 months. Never dropped them or anything just normal putting them on and taking them off…. Randomly my left side ear cup just burst into pieces lol
All 4 of my razer headsets broke with either a ear crackling and dying. And one did this also, just broke off. Every razer product I have ever bought has failed spectacularly. Never ever buy razer.
2:34 bro, how should i be able to compare the quality if there is a voice talking i never heared before in the video? i would like to see the quality difference between your camera/studio mic and the headset.
i feel massive discomfort using the arctis, not sure if its the distribution of weight of having a battery on one side, the fact that theres a lot of metal on the unit, or just how tight the band squeezes but after around 2-3 hrs my head would feel so much pain being squeezed for prolonged periods
I just got them 2 days ago and returning already. The discomfort is real. I can't wear them for longer then 30 mins. Currently deciding between blackshark 2023 and g pro x2
Yeah can only agree, ordered them wore them for the Day and send them back. They were just too uncomfortable for me, felt Like my ears were too big idk, it just wasnt comfortable. If you do intend to buy them, dont order from steelseries directly. It was a pain in the ass to get my money back, Customer Service is just Bad.

I got the Nova Pro Wireless and It just stopped charging entirely yesterday after only having them a week, I hope it was just a faulty pair bec I'm gonna try them again when they get back in stock at my currys pc world on wednesday..
@@Darizon Dang sorry to hear that. Did it stop charging on the actual headset where you plug it in the outside of the ear cup, or stop charging in the Game DAC? I see there are two ways to charge, one by taking the plate off the outer ear cup and plugging the cord in. The second way is to slide the battery in the slot in the side of the game DAC.
Steelseries build quality is pretty awful though. I've owned 2 headsets and a mouse of theirs and they all had build quality issues one way or another. I came to this video because my Arctis Pro just literally broke and trying to find a new headset lol.
I own an Eksa E900 Pro for about 3 years, finally bought G435 for the wireless connectivity and comfort, unboxed it, tested it. Returned it hahahahaha. Not a suitable headphone for people with big heads. And the audio sucks, mic sucks. Always has that buzzing sound when there's too many sounds input and from my experience, while playing Dota, there will be a major buzzing/robotic sound when war. There's workaround I've found on reddit, it just makes the sound worst (filtering low frequency thus less bass), but the buzzing is reduced. So back to Eksa until I find a better wireless headphone.
Something I'm lookng for in gaming headsets is heat/humity factor into wearing them for a long time; you talk about "comfort" but not a single word about "heat" or "humidity". Is that something you could specifically add into your future reviews?
Nice video! Also what do you think about Razer Barracuda pro’s in 2024? Cause Arctis Nova pro have some problems with in-built mic (it placed inside cups, and it pushes on ears in case of long sessions, so it is uncomfortable)
With those mic tests, could you do a keyboard and mouse click test? it would be nice to see what kind of noise cancelation the headphones have as well as clarity

The cloud alpha is not worth it. Not overly comfortable, and they have a tendency to just stop working. Went through 2 of them, and had an awful experience with HyperX’s customer service as well.

As someone who used the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless, I found it to be inferior to the previous version, the Arctis Pro Wireless. I hated how the ear cup lids were completely circular, you had to look at your headset to make sure it was aligned well before placing them back on. The previous model had oval shapes which allowed you to attach them without even looking. Secondly, the mic is MUCH harder to extend on the Nova Pro due to how tucked in it is and the mic doesn't give you much to grab it with. Third, the Novas have a very annoying piece protruding from inside the earcups, which will touch and poke your ears as you wear them.
Im concerned mainly about range. Im retired and listen to podcasts and audiobooks when im not gaming. Mainly as im working in garage and doing yardwork. Consider testing this in the future please.

I got the arctis nova 7 last week and I'm returning them today. The audio lag was unbearable, audio cut out often, sonar would randomly stop working, the app to customize audio crashed constantly, and all around quality was not good. Very disappointing, since I tried a floor model in store and when they work, they sound absolutely amazing. I'm hoping I just got a bad set, but I plan on switching to logitech today.

I’ve had my A10s for years now and I love them. My buddy decided to buy a pair because he tried mines, but unfortunately the quality of the A10s has gone down significantly
Have 2 Hyperx that are dying; over 10 years old. The wireless died. The wired does not have as good sound and the ear pads are dying. Interested in the newest wireless Hyperx.
Came here to look for another headset, The razer one is uncomfortable af imo. It is always sliding too far open! The max volume is too quiet to be its max altough it sounds good and mic is alright. Sadly mainly came for nr1, Ive had 2 of those and they broke twice at the same right earcup where they connect to the headband frame.
I cant comment on other headphones but after purchasing the hyper x alpha 3 wireless, my positive is the battery is still at 40% since purchase in mid december without charging, but i need to take out and plug in the usb dongle at every boot so the software recognises it.

Does the first one work with Xbox?
Yes, but the software doesn't work on xbox. That's why i'm looking into Turtle Beach Stealth Pro
Day 7 of asking for a review of the Redragon K631 in red.

My biggest con for the razer blacksharks is the build quality. I bought them twice and they broke the same way twice
I don't understand how you can rate the Astro a30's before the Astro a50's.
