      If we just wanted to see the new PC, we could probably find build logs online....by the hundred. Thought process ++! Granted, the 3900X is probably not worth 10K and you probably won't do a Linus by introducing it to the floor at 1G acceleration...

    Thanks for producing a video that shows a lot of the stumbling blocks that can come with building your own system. As someone who is in the process of selecting parts for a build next month, it illustrates the importance of pre-planning. As you mentioned, the raw nature of the video is far more informative than a 5 minute montage from boxes to complete system...

    I am glad that you are showing the process of laying out, thinking aloud and planning the build and just how you are going to mount the radiators and reservoir/fans. Took me 3 or 4 days to fit up two radiators and plumbing along with associated fan wiring and all power leads. There is a ton of work required when making custom loops and wiring! I am sure newbies think it is all going to happen in one evening. I wish!!

    +1 for unforseen stuff happening, even if you are experienced
    Edit: don't do carbon fiber, cool idea, but impractical. Can't bend it, can't cut it easily (or straight), and can dissolve in warm water. Unless you bought pre cut lined carbon tubing and did all 90° elbows

    • @Tallnerdyguy
      @Tallnerdyguy 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Alex Minne have you not noticed carbon fiber tubes for watercooling are lined, specifically for that reason? Also look at the datasheets for the existing CF tubing, expressly stating not to be used in water exceeding 40c, unless lined.

    • @Tallnerdyguy
      @Tallnerdyguy 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Alex Minne that is a possibility that i hadn't considered. It also may be that since copper isn't inert it may be reacting with water and changing it's ph, as i have done ph testing on just using distilled water in a copper only cooling loop and the ph had adjusted, just don't recall which direction off the top of my head.
