    1) JK used intellect / logic to break things down and convey.
However he continuously asked us to not get caught in the thinking process. He emphasised Observation/ 💯 attention ( outwardly and inwardly).
    2) His videos carry his fragrance even now.
There are thousands of us who are learning… it’s not just “books”.
I’ve seen many comments of people saying how it’s been life changing.
    So much for now! 🙏🙂

I don’t understand his criticism on Krishnamurti, in my opinion it doesn’t make sense. He was probably the highest developed Spiritual teacher of the 20th century and I am blessed that I was at his lectures.
He wasn’t playing a intellectual game and his words are still flowering also after his death, just like the words of the Buddha , Laotzu and every other Saint.

He is discussing people instead of just ideas. People are always limited within their perspectives, own experiences and words, and theories which are not the real thing and often contradicting, so there isn't much to talk about when we start to personalize cause we just get lost again as we're only projecting an image of ourselves into others. That's the endpoint.
For me, and this may be also a personalization, Jiddu Krishnamurti has been the only person that I've seen that was able to convey it into words the best the true art of observation the best without any dogmas that a lot of psychologists, scientists, religious leaders and gurus have. This is not to speak of the most basic assumptions such as reincarnation, separate souls, God or internal and external reality.
I don't know if I would say that he wasn't still playing a kind of intelectual game as you said though. After all he was still a man.

Krishnamurti does not have a great intellect - some of his teachers considered him even dull. Hi, I adore KJ and Sadguru for whatever they are and I perceived that sentence another way. I think he referred to the videos he was watching. From a video point of view, he has an arrogant look to KJ for those who don't know him well and don't know that with his passion he means all the compassion man can have. But those of us who cannot yet see him for what he is his appearance can for sure be misunderstood. I hope this view of mine was of help to you. As for Sadhguru, I think he is just another human being sees everything from his point of view which can be also respected. It would be of course nicer if we and especially the spiritual speakers all had a completely unbiased way of expression of what they say. In this Krishnamurti's non-methodological approach is a method that we must have. :D
All the best to you, dear @Vil9386.

I will share my feelings; perhaps some can relate. I’ve watched many of JK’s lectures and QnA’s. I was immediately moved by this wonderful man who called me to such an intense examination of truth. I can still listen to him for hours and just enjoy his unmistakable presence. However, when I try to grasp his teachings, I end up more confused and frustrated. Not because he is wrong, and not because he doesn’t speak truth. Simply because my intellect is not up to the task. Please do not interpret this as insulting to JK in any way whatsoever. His teachings are magnificent! If you can grasp them, then you absolutely should!

In my honest and humble opinion, Mr. Jaggi Vasudev is NOT qualified to comment on JK. It was really painful to listen to Mr. Jaggi who compares JK as a flower which has fragrance and the fragrance gone after his demise. How cruel is this? The very distinctive quality of JK is his borderless/ process-less approach to seek the truth. Multiple attempts by Mr. Jaggi to undermine andd understate JK's work is very evident and clearly out of place. JK is NOT a corporate guruji and definitely not needed endorsement from ANYBODY.

Actually, he's mistaken. Krishnamurti's way was NOT the "way of the intellect" - because the intellect is partial, limited, fragmented. It's fit to analyze - yet Krishnamurti often made the point that "analysis is paralysis". Krishnamurti made the subtle distinction between "intellect" and "intelligence". The latter is holistic, panoramic, attentive, sees the false as false, true as true; the former is analytical, divisive, fragmented, concentrates, thinks it sees the false as false, true as true. Intelligence has no center; intellect does. Do you see the difference? Krishnamurti's was the way of intelligence. Also, Krishnamurti did occasionally introduce anecdotes, though rarely. Sadhguru is correct that Krishnamurti had no method, and it's true, his style was somewhat dry, though powerful.
Yet Krishnamurti's way had its limitations. He pointed out that examining oneself, truly listening, truly being attentive just might lead to transformation. They seemed to be the prerequisites of transformation. In other words, Krishnamurti overestimated the power of rationality (in my view). In other words, he failed to see that human beings (for the most part) will not be transformed through the exercise of rationality because they're not fundamentally rational, though they do have a rational capacity. One could make the case that powerful unconscious forces actually use rationality in all sorts of subtle ways, as a puppet master uses a puppet. It's not that rationality can really influence those forces; those forces use rationality to present themselves in a certain light which is palatable or respectable. (By the way, I'm NOT suggesting those forces are ALL negative.) Transformation may be possible, but rationality alone is not strong enough to make it happen. Whatever may have been Krishnamurti's intentions, he only reached the head of people, not their hearts. Perhaps his approach was too rarefied: he spoke from the mountaintop, so to speak, and thought that the language of the mountaintop was also suitable for the language of people far below. Rationality may work with a few people; it may influence and move a few. But not most. Truth alone isn't enough; an insightful person needs to know what is appropriate to individuals, because individuals are at different stages and require different approaches. So Sadhguru is right in a way.

Others are explorers of mysticism and you are self proclaimed Mystic....hmmm🤔.....interesting, don’t try to reduce J. Krishnamurti’s wisdom and divinity to mere act of intellect to promote your personal brand and business.

Well said. He has to put down JK’ s wisdom to to make people to depend on his type of practice- brand dependency and following.

If he believes that JK only came from the intellect... You have to be high..😅 JK was connected to a higher Intelligence beyond the intellect . That would be an insult for him. JK isn't hard to understand, I feel he is one of the easiest people to understand. He doesn't complicate things.. he was very loving and funny if u see in other settings . The reason he seems so serious is because he really fucking cared about humans ! He wanted to wake them up so the sorrow could decrease and end.

    • @gianlucaripa9623
      @gianlucaripa9623 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      He isn't putting JK down.
Sadhguru's simply saying that through the absence of any method if not the intellect only one can hardly realize any Truth.
Both are in my opinion Enlightened beings anyway. Blessings.

Why talk about JK? It looks like the speaker has not understood JK, like many of us are. If JK had been alive, it would have been wonderful to have a debate between JK and speaker who is talking about JK.

Sadguru has not understood JK well.
Merely attributing JK talks are good only intellectuals is totally wrong.
He repeatedly talked of insight and reason and love must go together.
JK stated organised religions are frozen thought of mankind.
Followers destroy leaders and leaders destroy followers he stated often is 100 % true. So gurus..........

He was just another wisdom being who lived useful life ....like Osho...nothing else.
People say tht he is Meteriya Buddha...but people should know tht it's not a time for Meteriya Buddha to come coz Buddha shakyamuni period is still going on ....Buddha's teaching still exist n there are many Buddha follower who still follow his teaching n get Enlightent.
No way of him being Maitreya Buddha at all, doesn't matter how powerful or super being he was...coz it says tht,...
In the future, because of the growth of delusion, the beings in this world will degenerate - their lifespan will decrease and their lives will be filled with much suffering. When human life expectancy has decreased to only ten years, Maitreya will manifest in the form of a great spiritual leader and demonstrate the path of virtue. In particular, he will spread the teachings on loving kindness and, as a result, the fortune of the humans in this world will begin to improve - they will gradually give up their deluded attitudes and harmful behavior and their lifespan will start to increase. After many eons it will have grown enormously and people will live for 80,000 years. Then their lifespan will slowly decrease again until it reaches about one hundred. According to the prophesies of all the buddhas and his own promise, this is when Maitreya Buddha will appear in the world as a universal teacher, or founding buddha, like Shakyamuni.
