Like I always say "skip a generation when upgrading". Even though these may not sound game changing, upgrading from the Pixel Watch 1 to the 3 and from the Pixel Buds OG to the Pixel Buds Pro 2 are definitive huge upgrades!

We missed out on Google’s first Fold so I was pleasantly surprised to see the yes Aussie retailers will be stocking their 2’nd Gen fold. I cancelled my pre order of the Z fold 6 hoping the Pixel Fold Pro would come down under, glad to see it is happening.

Im eyeing the buds pro 2 if theres a significant upgrade on sound quality and tempted to upgrade my Pixel 7 to the 9 because of display brightness and battery issues
Only getting a bigger watch this year. Holding on to the 8 Pro for one more year. Would love to see a powerful tablet with a 1st party keyboard for productivity next year. Won't go back to a folding device unless the cameras can get close to the rest of the lineup.

So excited for the pixel 9 Pro-Fold. Been doing a lot of research on foldables, while some may have a little more power or slightly better screen, none of them has the functionality of a pixel phone. I've owned a pixel 8 pro since it's released, and I love the subtle but effective AI features such as talk to text adding pronunciation and call screening. Can't wait to have all of those features in a full size foldable phone😊 I am pretty bummed out at the sharp flat edges. My pixel 8 pro is so comfortable in the hand, and I've always thought the newer iPhones are hideous with their sharp edges and boxy design😢
I purchased the Pixel bud A at launch, and they were decent. They completely died around the 1.5yr year mark. But what I hated about them, was they easily fell out of my ears. So hearing that the new Pixel Bud pro will have a winged ear tip, peaks my interest.
If it wasn't for the smaller phone this year and the ultrasonic finger print sensor, I would have probably given it a miss. However I am considering that green Google Pixel 9. Love smaller phones and though I have loved my time with the Pixel 8 Pro, I will always prefer more compact phones. I just hope we get a decent trade in price for it.

The only thing that worries me are the AI features that they have to lock to the 9 /pro series but also they shouldn't because the pixel 8 series should get them because what's the point of the amazing new software support if the new software features won't get released to it? But then what would be the marketing reason to buy the new pixel 9 phones if these features could be available to the pixel 8 series?
Maybe will get the Pixel 9a, but otherwise skipping the 9 series to look forward to TSMC, but may skip its first generation, so maybe see everyone when the Pixel 11 comes out, lol. Gonna sit out on the other devices. Long live OG Chromecast!

Their foldable are 3 years behind. I don't understand why are they wasting their time releasing it? They should come up something massive better than foldable 6 to even be considered. Otherwise nah ill wait few years when they are better than samsung foldables
They are doing this to get users to upgrade before apple drops their new devices. Google knows they cannot convert iPhone users to android users in the US. So the only thing they can focus on is to ensure android users don't convert to iOS users. Android does well in cost sensitive markets already and Google makes majority of their money from OEMs rather than their own product lines.

Well I would be interested in the new Pixel Fold 2, but I just got the current Pixel Fold for $1000 and it was new/sealed so I couldn’t pass it up.
How are you finding it?

The thinnest foldable in the US is the surface Duo at 9.9mm closed. Love that device and wish that 2 screen phones were more available
