Been driving 5s, moved to 9s in 2016...never looked back. the 2.5 Turbo is an awesome engine. Just did a 3400 mile trip, almost all highway driving, and got 27.4 mpg. And that's in a 9 with 90k miles on it.
Uncle YS, I just learned, CX8 smart key fob 1 and smart key fob 2, can customized seat position for driver #1 and driver #2 automatically everytime you unlock using key fob 1 or key fob 2. It’s exactly like lexus and I am impressed with

16:37 window screen shades are a plus for this model, my cx8 sports model is missing it, but nvr mind its all good. 17:38 I am taking your advice gold silver bars to load down my cargo. lol. 18:40 I too have an empty nest but have decided to upgrade my 5 to an 8 to carry up to 5 passengers and their luggages.

Unfortunately, no 7 seat option so too bad.the turbo version with awd that is. Unless can swap 2nd row seats with non turbo cars.

Both are about the same power. Which ever o e you take depends on your preferences, and also the availability of Euro 5 Diesel

Bermaz you don't provide 7 seater high spec for families. You took out the paranomic sunroof and bose sound system to make more profit. Families are stuck with low spec with minimal safety systems. You want them to step up to an old model cx 9 which will be discontinued soon at a hefty premium. You don't value middle class families. Well Bermaz, the Chinese are coming and they gonna give everything at a lower price. So don't be surprised you can't clear your old cx 8 stock.

Yes, you will get good fuel consumption.
My friend got 7-8km/L for city driving and roughly 10km/L for highway so take that how you will 😅

There is a 7 seater variant. The test car was a 6- seater.
If you want tpms a d hood damper, I suppose you have to look elsewhere, sorry.
