Love your presentation hafriz shah. Very honest and straight forward. The use of language is simple yet deep and sometimes slight humour (or may I say a lil sarcastic😁). Keep it up hafriz. U're my favourite
Hey Hafiz, I must say, I have always enjoyed your review on cars. Especially on Proton cars. I find the X90 very good and impressive. Love what Proton did with the designing of the car. Especially with the front grill. Overall I honestly think the X90 is going to turn heads around when it gets officially launched.
Watched almost all reviews from local reviewers, and I find myself wishing the bench seating of the Premium can be made an option on the Flagship. That would be the dealmaker for most people with the budget for the Flagship. Well, for me at least.
Hi Hafiz, I read your comment and yr preference for a 40/60 long bench at 2nd row. But I think Proton should still at least offers a very unique 33/33/33 individual seating configuration in one of the Variant, especially if X90 is marketed as a comfy car, we all know sitting in the middle seat is so uncomfortable and this unique 33/33/33 individual seating configuration will solve this problem and provides comfort to all three passengers at the 2nd row. This unique 33/33/33 individual seats configuration should be a selling point for X90, it stands out and not found in other cars in the market. There are a lot of customers looking forward to see this unique 33/33/33 seating configuration in X90 but only to be disappointed to see the common 40/60 long bench found in all other car... no wow factor here ...
I get the appeal of the 3 individual seats, I do. But, in a broader sense (pun intended, ha!) more customers would prefer the bench in Malaysia. Most use case for a car like this here will not utilise all three seats in the middle row, so it makes sense to compromise three-wide comfort that will rarely be used in favour of a more comfortable bench for two that will be appreciated far more often. And for Proton to offer another seat config (making it 3 total) in a different variant just would not make economic sense. Especially for one that will have limited market appeal.
I agree. As an owner of a Ford S-Max. There's nothing like the 33/33/33 seating in it. Too bad Ford in Malaysia sucks so bad we can't get the S-Max anymore.
@@hafrizshah4937 agreed. And if I may add, the reason why proton might've went ahead with a 60/40 split is cause if they are transporting 3 people at the back, it would make more sense to place the 3rd person at the 3rd row for better comfort for all 3 pax. Plus, another reason for the 60/40 could be that the Malaysian family size averaged at around 4 people per household, so 33/33/33 just doesn't make any sense.
The EMS is a big boost to power and fuel efficiency as the X70 & X50 are known to be high consumption relatively. Nice design and NDH but sadly if only the Premium 7-seater had the huge sunroof. Price estimate for flagship is RM148K.
As for me a mere village boy,the front grill is great almost too futuristic but the more traditional infinite weave will make their front grill more prominent and menacing

Estimated is 150k for the flagship. I think at this price point I’d honestly get a pre owned cx8. I’ve had problems with the seats of the x70 as I feel they really lack the support. It might fit others well, but for me it’s a deal breaker.
I think its still depends on what people need. Bigger family would love to have bigger car and more space. This is the car. Plus you have the latest features and better engine.
@@aku1031 yeah.. have same issue with x70 boot, looks bigger but cannot accommodate the needs of small family for travel. Thats why i said, the people buy this who prefered the luggage spacd they need. Just wonder the price, hopefully not sky high over x70.

Spec wise it's pretty good (flagship variant) at RM150k. I get the pilot seats for a more premium feel, but I don't get why Malaysia not getting the latest model.
