I work for my local ISP company so I’m in a bunch of customer homes setting up interwebs all day. Heard this sound bar in a customers home and was like damn that sounds good, it gets pretty loud. he said he got it a couple months back and was going to order the sub and surround speakers. So that convinced me to try it despite the price. I’ve never owned a sound bar but I’m sure it’s going to make a big difference compared with what I’m used to.
so I ended up getting the Sennheiser AMBEO! way more natural sounding and not drowned out by any muddy over bloated BASS that BOSE loves to do... no offense... even with their bass module the bass never seems tight and as fast... I'm happy to be using a Martin Logan 1100x with my Ambeo and its incredible
Sounds really good! Destiny 2 should of just ran a strike. Sounds one way off iPhone speakers. I but on my Bose Sound sport free and big difference! Is that really the bass sound from the sound bar only!? And how you said, no delay on shot, it’s crisp and that echo and continuous sound sounds so nice! Will be getting this soon! I can imagine how it sounds with the Bose sub! And two at that😆. Using Bose gaming headset on Pc and can’t wait for the comparison to this!
if you buy a bose 900 sound bar , the bass module is a must!!! the bass is so dispointing watching movies or music. I bought the 500 module, I heard it's better then the 700....something to do with poor bass at low volumes.....I guess we'll see.

I was able to hear the bose 300 and 900 at my local best buy. While the 900 was impressive I actually preferred the warm sound of the 300. I do like the surround sound and volume level of 900 though. Can I adjust the 900 to sound warm like the 300?
I felt it sounds similar to 700 except 2 upward firing speakers enabled on this. I heard Sonos ARC which sounded powerful than 900 with lot of bass and quality of sound from bar.
Thinking of getting this sound bar, I have a Sharp 70 inch tv and an Xbox eries X. The sound from the tv is not bad it gets the job done but I really want to enhance my gaming experience and watching HBO Max content, etc.. is this worth it? A bit expensive but willing to bite the bullet on this one. Cheers!

We have high vaulted ceiling’s as well and we do get the effects. It was throwing sound off to both sides of the room. It is truly amazing. I will add the additional speakers when they are available to make the experience even better.

I just purchased the 900 had the 700 my honest opinion it does sound better but just in. The sense the sound is more spacious like you can hear sound like above the tv if that makes sense. Is it worth a 975 dollars in for just that…no. I bought it since I wanted another sound bar for my room so when I was looking for one I saw the 900 so moving my 700 to my room now.
Silly question…. Maybe , but I just got the 900 . New to the sound bars . My tv doesn’t have the e Arc . Just Arc . Plugged the HDMI in from bar to tv , and not getting sound . Went through the tv menu. Turned it onto external speaker . Not sure if there is another setting to change or look at . Any help would be appreciated
Yes same here you to need to turn on the CEC to make it work. My only issue though is that the Dolby atmos under the audio settings is greyed out? Could that be cos I only have the HMDI Arc but no the eArc hmdi on my Tv?
Destiny 2 on PS5 is the game. I think that the 900 could make it on its own but I do have the 700 surround sound speakers on order to see how they sound paired together. The sub would of course make the bass better but I don’t think it’s necessary.
Hi, I notice you plug in, in to samsung tv , what is the model?.... I have Q90R, and by you know, no earc ... Is very notable the audio between your 700 and 900 play the same movie, music or very different? It's really working sound around you? Either you don't play content "dolby digital or dolby atmos?...like you tube video from samsung tv is out in PCM format...? So you get sound from top speakers?

Yes you can run adaptiq setup and it has an equalizer to tune it to your taste
Just got mine Dolby Atmos is crazy on this soundbar I almost shit on my pant while watching movies with this soundbar😂

My brother has the Arc and it’s ok. I personally like the sound of the 900 over the Arc. The Bose is brighter sounding sound bar which is what I like.
I have a vaulted ceilings that rises to 16’. I’m hesitant to make the jump. Will I get the Dolby Atmos effect?
It does do a sound check to set up the sound for your room. Maybe that should make it work. Only way to know is to try it.

Yeah the 900 is a nice upgrade from the 700. Only downgrade is the remote.

The Bose 900 comes with Bose TrueSpace which converts everything into Dolby Atmos like sound.
Hi, understand Bose 900 come with true space sense function. Can they convert dts-x format (Dvd or Blue Ray) into Atmos?
From my testing it converted 2 channel stereo into Dolby Atmos like. Really pretty amazing so far.

Without earc you can get only compressed Atmos if your tv supports it.
