Hi Andrew, I would like for you and Kristi to do a review of the Nakamichi Dragon Soundbar Home Theatre and then possibly have a head to head with the Ambeo Max with 2 added subs and 2 added surrounds(speakers). Also maybe compare it to a system with ab AV receiver and some Klipsch towers, subs and surrounds that add up to approximately the 3,900 that the Nakamichi Dragon will retail for. Thanks for all your awesome reviews.
I've always liked Bose. Despite the well-known disdain from a lot of audiophiles (I never take their opinions seriously, as a rule) I've found the majority of their products to sound impressive whether the source is music or movies. I can’t wait until we have real-time AI assistants like Ironman’s Jarvis telling us things like, “Turn the left front speaker inward 5 degrees. Now bring the right surround speaker closer to your listening position by 6 inches. Good. Now let me redo the calculations. Please stand by...” 😅 That’s the future I’m excited for!
You just know it's way more likely to be holding a virtual clipboard while it tells us to turn the volume down, and those lyrics are a bit risque and why don't you put that beverage down and go do some weights or something. All for our own good of course.
I have been lucky enough to get the new Bose Ultra. For me it is helping with a hearing impairment and I can hear the dialogue clearly in all the movies I’ve watched so far. It is a game changer for me.
Great review! I have the 900, base module 700, and surrounds 700. Very pleased with it. I also love dialogue clarity, which I think the 900 has….but it sounds like the Smart Ultra with AI is even more impressive. Thanks again and love Kristi’s take as always!

NICE!!! 😂 Keep the good work coming. :-) Even if don’t intend to buy a new system, I STILL watch your reviews when they come out. :-)😊😊 Enjoy your day Andrew and Kristi. Hello from the UK.
Bose once used to be my aspirational speaker, and the same for a lot of Indians. I remember the time i had bought the soundlink mini 2. It punched way above it's class. I had the QC25, the first mass market nose cancelling headphones. I used to show off the NC to my friends, and they were always shocked to experience the ambient noise just disappear. It's sad to see that in the current market, Bose has no products, in the TWS, stereo speakers or the soundbars category that i, or many people wouldn't even consider.
I love the AI, it’s the clearest crisp sound I’ve had from a soundbar ever! And the up fire speakers do their job 📺 brilliantly. I bought the Bose in London from John Lewis as the store had excellent back up should any problems arise! And thank you for the review.
I just got a new Onkyo Reciever a couple weeks, just discovered a "voice" option. I'm running an all klipsch setup and I have to admit, even going +1 on this setting made a noticeable difference. Keeps the special affects the same, but boost the voice through the center channel. As I've gotten older, a little extra voice presence is very much appreciated
Hi. You've just convinced me to switch from the Sony HT7000 soundbar to the Bose. For the small living room in my apartment, it sounds like the best option. A great video review. Thank you
@shaq6772 I eventually went for the Sony 5000 but was disappointed in the lack of height despite claims to the contrary. Interestingly, I went for a cheaper Bose model and that left me unimpressed too
@MahlerHolic1860 just the reviews keep saying sony 7000 is just the best of the best but usually when it comes to sound bose is well they r bose. That's why I thought maybe someone who have experienced both can say something. It's a rather prices investment
The gloss finish on top makes it look elegant. However when the lights go off and that same top reflects light from the TV, it just might be a little too distracting.
I really wish one of these manufacturers would come out with a sound bar that acted as a center channel and maybe a channel surround function, but had RCA out put so that you could integrated into your 2.1 system. This one especially with its AI trickery for elevating the vocal clarity in my mind would be absolutely perfect, if it would then spit out a 2.1 signal to my stereo receiver to use the towers and subwoofer as the left, right, and LFE channels. I really don’t want to spend $3000 on a receiver with pre-outs, just so that I can have a clean center channel and hide channels using my current stereo system.
Had boses full system. I had a bad time unfortunately. The infamous popping sounds from surrounds, and could never get the system to update. Went full sonos and it has been great with era 300s
I bought the 65" S90C. Went from 42" lg ips to this big beast. Amazed. First thing I watched was Netflix The fall of the house of Usher. Beginning of show is definitely amazing to see real blacks and flashes of white from lightning storm. I had put together a small 5.1.2 sound setup and this tv brings the sound to life. My audio is Sony str-an1000 with jamo Studio s803, klipsch R40s as atmos, BIC Acoustech PL-200 Subwoofer. Thinking of doing small upgrades to my audio. Debating if I should start with a better center channel. Ideas?
A friend of mine with a severe case of tinnitus asked me about a sound bar last year after he had blown a speaker in his TV. I went to his home and he had a nice Yamaha sound bar set up but dialogue clarity was his pet peeve. He asked my advice and I asked him if I could do some research. He stated that he had a 300.00 Budget. Less than ten days later he had a Zvox sound bar. He was more than a little dubious as we set it up. An hour later he called me to tell me that he could understand all dialogue twenty feet away and he was ecstatic, so I understand the importance of dialogue clarity and surround sound clarity. Now as AI applications to audio goes I have no difficulty with it as long as I do not end up in a debate with Alexa or Jarvis!
Hi, first of all thank you for all your excellent reviews. I think that I am somewhat in Kristi’s camp in that clarity of dialogue is increasingly important to me. I would be prepared to sacrifice some top end performance for greater clarity there, especially if there was improved music as well. Based on that, would you recommend this over the Q990C? Would Kristi herself choose that? I think a sub is crucial and that then makes the Bose quite a bit more expensive- albeit that that is a slightly separate issue. Many thanks in advance.
I can nearly guarantee the whole headpiece for room correction was a satirical nod to audiophiles of old. Love that. I’ve always thought that Bose had much bigger sound than you expect out of them. I still have a tiny Bluetooth speaker from them, that just obliterates in sheer volume and quality much larger speakers. I love their products, simple, easy to use and you get what you pay for. By the way, I bought that tiny speaker in 2015. It still works perfect. So yeah. In terms of AI, whether you like it or not, it’s here, it’s the future and there’s no way around it and so long it’s well implemented and used for the right reasons, I don’t mind it. If it’s a label that doesn’t do anything any better or makes things worse (seen it before), maybe skip that particular product. Great review and conversation! Wishing everyone a lovely Sunday!
I like that he includes his wife. Because she made it clear that some of the stuff that he passed off as fact was really just his opinion and interpretation.
I had the Bose 900 with sub 700. No rear speakers. It was ok. Now i have the Sennheiser Ambeo plus with Ambeo subwoofer. ( NOT THE MAX ) the Max does not have good dialogue like the Plus. What a difference! If you want clean dialogue then i don't think any soundbar is as good as the Ambeo plus. Not to mention the Ambeo plus has 3 HDMI ports, Great app, nice remote, plays any Codecs you have including most all Dolby, DTS formats even the older ones with your old DVD's and blue-rays plus sounds great with streaming movies from Netflix, Disney and Amazon prime video. I can even play and listen to my SACD collection thru my Sony 4K blue -ray player on the Ambeo plus. Can't do that on Sonos, Bose and most any other soundbar. If they ever come out with rear speakers for the Sennheisers then watch out. It will then be a complete set up like a receiver / speaker set up.
I got the jbl bar 1000 and yes it sounds very hollow. If I play music on it is not very good compared to my bose tv speaker. Good that I found your video I am returning the JBL here are my options bose smart ultra or sonos arc what you recommend specially for gaming (PS5,XBOX SERIES X).
Depends what ur looking for. Off the bat, samsung WILL provide a better bubble for atmos. Thats a given just because bose has no upfiring surrounds yet. Otherwise imo they sound the same when it comes to quality. Sound gets thrown around the room easily with the bose and samsung. Samsung is better price to performance ratio as well. However few things that trouble a lot of people: Samsung subwoofer is hit or miss that it actually is felt. Its mentioned on reviews for bestbuy, reddit, etc. no issue with my bose subs. I had samsung in the past and yeah the bass is not as hard hitting compared to their older models (n950 and q90r). And then of course samsungs famous disconnect issues at times. And D.IN issue for others (gets stuck in D.IN mode and takes a couple resets to make it go away). If bose does bring out upfiring surrounds 100% id go bose again and again.
Kristi is unique in that she appreciates a subwoofer. Most women, my wife included, hate them. We are currently doing new construction. The TV room will be an open floor plan into the kitchen & dining room. It'll be a big space & I just don't know if the Smart Ultra bar by itself will pump out enough bass. What to do?????
My wife felt the same about subs and I think it stemmed from messy sub/Sat systems that we had before. I bought the Bose 900 and bass module 700. I intentionally set up just the bar and we really liked it. A day later, I added the sub and let her pick one of her favorite movies for family movie night (Return of The King remastered version). She was sold instantly and now probably uses the system more than I do. Order both and give a try. The bass module has a classy look to it and is relatively compact, so it’s not a big, chunky box like our prior subs were.
Depends on the level of volume. At low volumes I set Center-30, Height-0, Bass-30, Treble-10. At mid to high volumes I set Center-20, Height-10, Bass-40, Treble-10
Honestly i skipped the surrounds 700 and went with the surrounds 300 instead, they sound amazing. The sub module 700 is a non negotiable, you absolutely need it to make it sound the best. Great review....btw i actually like it when the Bose throws out sound just to impress me haha
I’m only a month into owning mine and it’s basically a paper weight now. Plagued with connectivity issues since day one, and these past few days it won’t play any sound unless I unplug it from the wall and then plug it back in. This is every time I go to use it after it being on standby for seemingly any amount of time. Big disappointment, because I love the look & sound of it. It’s also “Not Available” in the Bose Music app a solid 80% of the time, despite having a solid internet connection.
Hello, check if you are running latest firmware on your soundbar. Which is 4.0.10, if it does not please call Bose technical support they are from UK and are amazing
On paper and objective testing it is at par with sonos in whole system setup.. anyway it is good to give bose some time to get adjusted to their sound signature
Thanks for the timely review! It’s seems this product was only announced last month. I immediately wondered if it was a worthwhile upgrade or to look for a previous generation 900 on sale (I’ve seen those marked down $200). As someone who frequently has trouble with dialog, I know which bar to buy after this review.
Hi Andrew, how is compare with B&W Paranoma 3 that you reviewed. I like vocal clarity & hi treble note in orchestra string rather than bass that most soundbars are good in. I bought the Klipch 5 and regretted it.
Totally agree. We are a no TV in the bedroom family. (Enjoyed the review and I’m surprised how good it is as I’ve never been a Bose fan-well except for their 901s back in the day.
Why no one ever test the Polk Magnify Max AX SR which has a wireless sub and surrounds for $899. ? Andrew you tested the mini version and you were impressed, I'm confident you would equally if not more impressed with the MAX AX, and with it's connectivity advantage and larger more capable sub would give run for the Sonos's and Bose's money.
I listened to MAX AX and it's very, very good, but I'd still give Bose and Sonos the nod over the MAX AX regarding the sound. For some reason the Polk Audio fell a bit short in the bass department for me. Sonos & Bose sounded better enough for me to consider those two over the Polk, but as is the case in all things audio, opinions are purely subjective. Do you own the MAX AX? If not, what setup do you currently enjoy in your home?
@@moonytheloony6516 Yes I do, and I'm coming from a full fledged Atmos HT, so I had very low expectations. Regarding the bass, while I agree it's not very good, I think a good room correction could help with it. Btw I wired another sub a monolith 12" slim to the Polk's wireless sub via speaker wires inside the sub so I think my set up would be a bit better than what you might experienced. But is any case the Polk even with the added sub cost less then half of what the Bose does.
I am in dilemma to choose between Q990C and Bose Smart Ultra Soundbar, which includes the bundle set. I am seeing good reviews on Samsung but nonetheless, Bose is a speaker company I feel in dileama for my given situation. Although Your video gives a lot of information about Bose and other soundbars, I like I want to know the latest reviews. Any Suggestions or Advice Irrespective of price and compatibility with Samsung Oled TV?
Andrew and Kristi thank for another excellent review. I am in the market for two slim sound bars, as I am just using the built in speakers on my LG OLED evo C3's, so I think this Bose bar might be the ticket.
Hey andrew what is your take on the new sonos ultra do u think that it's going to really challenge bose smart ultra also what is so strange is that their new sub gen 4 would be lighter is that going to make a difference thanks and have a blessed night
Dialog is the most important feature with any sound system, especially sound bars. Go to the movie theater, the dialog is razor crisp. I testing the Sonos ARC and returned it. Great impressive sound but crappy dialog. Got the Bose 900, which has much better dialog, that said I may upgrade to the Ultra
Hey, Andrew, I’m here! The more I keep reading & watching your reviews, the more I walk away from Bose and Sonos and the more I get curious about the Samsung Q930C and the Q990C for my livingroom. How would you compare them?
Hey this was a great video. Now I was confused whether I should buy the Bose seismic system (full kitted with subwoofers and surround speakers) OR Sonos sound bar with sub and surround speakers OR even the fully kitted Samsung OR Nakamichi Dragon fully kitted. Like which one would be the best choice (assuming size of room is not important). Can you plz help me with this ??
Unfortunately, this is not an easy answer. You are looking at wildly different price points. Depending on how familiar you are with these products, for example, Sonos and Bose are very user-friendly, whereas the Dragon is all manual tweaker's paradise. I have not heard the Dragon so I'm not weighing in other than to say it's very expensive and limited in it's features. My pick if you are getting surrounds, sub, etc would either be the Samsung or the Sonos.
19:05 Andrew said their bedroom has remained gear free for not upgrading their tv for better part of a year… I thought that was funny…. We’ve had the same tv in our bedroom coming up to around 8 years now😂
Great review, yet again. Side question... Have you guys been to the Sphere in Vegas? Any interest in experiencing it? Would love to hear your take on the entire setup. Thank you in advance. Vince RSA.
As someone who enjoys listening to music and watching movies, looking to replace a ht receiver and floorstanding speakers for the convenience of just a soundbar (no sub or rears), would you recommend the Arc or the Bose Ultra?
Great review guys 👍🏼 Tenet would be my 1st movie to try it on. The audio mix drives me nuts trying to hear vocals in action scenes. Btw, I know it's long in the tooth but I saw an ad for the Yamaha YSP 5600 (46 speakers !) brand new on Amazon. Shame Yamaha got into the large Atmos sound bar category way too soon and didn't continue considering the competition out there.
Great review I'd consider this bar in the future just for the dialogue enhancement. I don't mind ai being involved in products as long as they allow for human correction.
Thank you for all the reviews from both yourself and Christie! I'm bound to a hospital bed and live in a 18 x 18 room with an angle ceiling from 8 feet to about 12 feet. Not really into movies but definitely like my PlayStation 4 and music. Also like a boost in my dialogue and I enjoy deep bass. I'm shopping the Sonos ARC, the Bose Smart Ultra, and the Samsung 990c. I do have a Samsung TV. Is there anyone of these sound bars you would recommend over the other in regards to my environments specifications?
Hello, ty so much for your reviews as this has been an amazing journey for me. For a cheaper option, can the Sony ES7000 with Michi X3 Series 2 amp be a good alternative compared to Marantz AV10/Amp 10? These will be powering all Klipsch RP 2 line 7.2.6. I want that neutral/spatial sound/low volume but on the fence about which combo is better.
Thank you for your support. As for your question, the Sony 7000ES should be more than enough for your Klipsch speakers on its own. If you add a Michi X3 you'd be effectively supercharging your system at which point you could add any speaker you want in the future.
I bought it with surrounds. Did not WOW me for some reason. I just ordered 990c with half the price and going to compare whether it gives me that wow factor. Hopefully.
Yeah so I think I’m keeping my 990c and returned my Bose. Bose is good but for the price , I found 990c more appealing. More loud and more atmos feeling than Bose. Bose felt a tiny bit cleaner
It's not really a fair comparison as I did not have them at the same time to A/B, nevermind that the Theater is larger and more full-range on its own. Dialog-wise (going off memory) the Bose may be better.
Have a question for you, andrew or kris. You have 3 choice of speaker bookshelf or floor speakers for movies and gaming, 3.1 setup number 1 choice 2 and 3.
I am in the market. short listed Bose Ultra+bass+rears and Samsung Q990D. Andrew have always had good reviews for Samsung Q990x. I dont mind price difference. I want great sounding soundbar for movies, games and sometime music. Most importantly reliable connection. Can you also shed some light on other users and me about with so big price difference, how come Samsung Q990D can be better than Bose Ultra full set. I am really leaning towards Samsung 😃
Hi Andrew. Please review the Polk Magnifi Max Ax SR if you have the opportunity. I'm planning to buy them but I would like to know your opinion first before going ahead with my purchase. Thanks and more power to you both.
Are the Bose subwoofers better than using a wired Klipsch sub? The Klipsch are cheaper and very good subs. My problem is I need to find a sub 14 inches tall or less to fit where I need to put it.
I love your reviews! I currently am still rocking a 1080p Samsung with a Denon receiver. I have a wall built in so space is an issue with soundbars. I am looking to move up to a 50" Samsung Neo QLED (largest I can go with the wall built in) and was considering doing alway with the old Denon and looking at soundbars. I would absolutely love to own the Samsung Q990C but again space is an issue with my built in only allowing for 44 inches wide for the space for the TV. I was then considering the Samsung HW-Q930C for its smaller size but that comes in at 43.7 inches and would probably make the sound on the sides just awful. I would prefer to have true Atmos & DTS-X sound. What would you recommend?
Hey Andrew, I know you already mentioned the Sonos Arc but I was confused on your comparison between there surrounding quality. Which bar alone offers the more surround sound/Dolby atmos experience?
Absolutely 💯 SONOS ARC. I tried them in store . We had car with 12 BOSE speakers 🔊. So I do have picky ear 👂 s. SONOS arc is best . D others were somewhat quiet , flat here n there .
Andrew: A monkey's breakfast. 😅 Kristi: We have enough out of you. He's exceptional at ruining things for me. LOL 😅 You two are on fire this morning. I appreciate the Samsung comparison. Thanks for a great review!
I don't understand how "A.I." has gone from 'indistinguishable from human intelligence' to 'algorithms that don't require structured inputs' to merely 'an algorithm' in the span of about a year and everyone just went along with it
Managed to snag the Q800C for £440, and I think it's probably just as good as this bar. And nearly half the price. I'd love to heard your thoughts on it, with it being a stripped down version of the Q990c without the rear speakers. For someone with less space it makes much more sense than the 990C
Dude 800C is the exact same length as the 990C. Samsung bars have the best value, but to me they look ugly. especially theri subs. Their value is undeniable though.
Bose’s AI dialog enhancement could’ve been a game-changer if this soundbar had launched a year or two ago. But with the latest version of tvOS, Apple TV comes with its own AI-based “Enhance Dialog” feature. That means that folks who want dialog enhancement can now use any speaker or soundbar they want.
You seem much more enamoured by this bar compared to the 900 review, asside from AI dialogue, even though the two bars i believe are otherwise identical.
@@ghostpimp how would you compare the Samsung bar all alone (no bass or surrounds) with the Bose ultra? Not considering cost, do you still prefer the Samsung bar?
@@treverwilliams8711 I’d say the bose soundbar because the Samsung is made for the sub & bar to work together very well, the Samsung soundbar doesn’t do good alone considering that wasn’t what it was made for like the bose
I'm understanding that this will decode Dolby 5.1? I have a collection of DVD Audio from bands that I like and I ordered this along with the rear speakers. I'm assuming based on the product specs that this will decode the 5.1 for me and send it through the speakers as bose assigns? My DVD player plays DVD Audio discs and if I send that to my TV, the menu selections for audio setup will translate to the bose speaker?

What a great video. Love the back and forth perspectives.
Great review! I also liked you asked your wife for her opinion! Made my decision to buy. Running to BB now to purchase!
Great review, your guys dynamic makes the review so interesting! Love the channel
In Canada Samsung Q900C is cheaper than Bose Smart Ultra and Sonos Arc.
Is Samsung Q900C a better choice?
Depends what ur looking for.
Off the bat, samsung WILL provide a better bubble for atmos. Thats a given just because bose has no upfiring surrounds yet. Otherwise imo they sound the same when it comes to quality. Sound gets thrown around the room easily with the bose and samsung. Samsung is better price to performance ratio as well. However few things that trouble a lot of people:
Samsung subwoofer is hit or miss that it actually is felt.
Nope.
Great review by the way!
The bass module has a classy look to it and is relatively compact, so it’s not a big, chunky box like our prior subs were.
theyre great and unlike competitors they dont need extra amp
youll get 'better' sound w desktop combo ofc, but portable sound has its own charm
You can add the bass module 700. And if that’s still not enough bass, you can always add a second bass module
a new wife
What are the best levels to put center channel, height channel, bass and treble?
Alright Andrew.. always here to support you.
And I thank you!
😁
Thanks for the timely review! It’s seems this product was only announced last month. I immediately wondered if it was a worthwhile upgrade or to look for a previous generation 900 on sale (I’ve seen those marked down $200). As someone who frequently has trouble with dialog, I know which bar to buy after this review.
It's really good. We switched back to the ARC a couple of days ago and I'm struggling. :(
Thanks guys for the review! Interesting to hear about the AI dialog.
It's very interesting to experience --especially when you toggle it on and off or compare it to other bars.
@@andrewrobinsonreviews Thanks for that tidbit. I'm hoping future bars/A9's have this feature.
Hi Andrew, how is compare with B&W Paranoma 3 that you reviewed. I like vocal clarity & hi treble note in orchestra string rather than bass that most soundbars are good in. I bought the Klipch 5 and regretted it.
Man I love their studio. My new life goal is to decorate my next place like theirs (and of course deck it out with a banging surround system).
The right amount of gear in bedrooms is ‘none’! Get tech out of bedrooms and you’ll be blown away by the difference it makes to sleep quality.
Totally agree. We are a no TV in the bedroom family. (Enjoyed the review and I’m surprised how good it is as I’ve never been a Bose fan-well except for their 901s back in the day.
Turn off your phone wifi and data when going to bed
@@Afiso or just don’t have your phone in the bedroom at all!
The only people who say that are people without a tv in bedroom haha
@@moonytheloony6516
Yes I do, and I'm coming from a full fledged Atmos HT, so I had very low expectations.
LOVE the new intro! Very slick!
Boss 700 module has very little bass. I returned the Ultra and 700 module and went with Sonos. What a difference.
I got a Sony subwoofer and it does a great job with bass
Interesting. Mine were great and had impact. I returned and went sonos as well due to issues with bose.
Andrew and Kristi thank for another excellent review. I am in the market for two slim sound bars, as I am just using the built in speakers on my LG OLED evo C3's, so I think this Bose bar might be the ticket.
Definitely worth a look. It's really, really good IMHO.
Bang & Olufsen Beosound Theatre 77 va Bose 900 ? which is worth buying
Once again a pleasant Sunday morning Andrew and Kristi.
Thanks! Hope your weekend has been going well so far!
Another great review.
When can we expect the Arc?
Why the omission of HDMI inputs, and the processing of DTS codecs?
So if you guys were gonna buy a soundbar without a subwoofer or surround speakers and money was no object…which one would you buy?
let me know to
Waiting for the answer to
Ambeo if you can afford and it doesn’t block your TV screen.
Is Bose Utra soundbar better than Sonos beam gen 2?
Hi Andrew I really like you vids and I enjoy your wife’s input on speakers and surround sound
Hey Andrew, can you review The Nakamichi Dragon soundbar, please?
15:45
Thank you,@@KristiWright
just watched that segment no mention of the Dragon@@KristiWright
It may have gotten cut for time. Basically, we don't have it. None are available and they won't send a unit for review.
Good morning from Ottawa, Andrew and Kristi 🇨🇦 👋🏻
Morning! How's the weather up there?
Hello Matthew!
Happy Sunday AR Fam…😊😊
Thank you so much and happy Sunday to you too!
In a small to medium room would the Module 500 sub be beneficial to the Ultra?
How does the dialogue compare to the 990c?
19:05 Andrew said their bedroom has remained gear free for not upgrading their tv for better part of a year… I thought that was funny…. We’ve had the same tv in our bedroom coming up to around 8 years now😂
Good Morning from Indiana! Hope you both have a good day.
Morning! Hope you have a good day as well!
Great review, yet again. Side question... Have you guys been to the Sphere in Vegas? Any interest in experiencing it? Would love to hear your take on the entire setup. Thank you in advance. Vince RSA.
Not yet!
As someone who enjoys listening to music and watching movies, looking to replace a ht receiver and floorstanding speakers for the convenience of just a soundbar (no sub or rears), would you recommend the Arc or the Bose Ultra?
Your comparison is made in the video.
I’ve been to impressed with the BeoSound Stage. Sounds great and looks even better.
The Stage is a great soundbar.
Thanks for the review! Hopefully that Sonos ARC review comes out before black Friday. Contemplating upgrading from my Beam Gen 2.
Great review I'd consider this bar in the future just for the dialogue enhancement. I don't mind ai being involved in products as long as they allow for human correction.
Appreciate you sharing your thoughts on AI in home theater. Thank you!
I know eq settings vary , would just love to see recommendations for a smaller room
IM shopping for speaker or sound bar as well for my ps4 and soon ps5 I need help as well. I’m using a gaming monitor for video.
I love your videos bro, they literally make me happy and I learn a lot thanks to you , thank you 🙏🏻
Hey andrew is bose 700 bass module better than the vizio elevate sub
I bought it with surrounds. Did not WOW me for some reason. I just ordered 990c with half the price and going to compare whether it gives me that wow factor. Hopefully.
Hey, wondering if you were able to set up the 990c, and had any initial thoughts. About to order one of the two myself.
So ?
Yeah so I think I’m keeping my 990c and returned my Bose. Bose is good but for the price , I found 990c more appealing. More loud and more atmos feeling than Bose. Bose felt a tiny bit cleaner
Didnt wow you probably because sound is subjective
How does it compare to the B&O theatre?
It's not really a fair comparison as I did not have them at the same time to A/B, nevermind that the Theater is larger and more full-range on its own. Dialog-wise (going off memory) the Bose may be better.
Have a question for you, andrew or kris. You have 3 choice of speaker bookshelf or floor speakers for movies and gaming, 3.1 setup number 1 choice 2 and 3.
Good morning friends! Have a great Sunday.
Same to you!
Morning to you too!
We do have one but we have not listened to it yet.
@@KristiWrightThat's good to know. Maybe in the future. I'm looking forward to it. All the best. Cheers!
damn the AMBEO MAX aka Original, still being compared to this day! crazy! I have one and still love it to this day!
Better then the Sennheiser Ambeo plus?
Is it possible to connect a third party sub to this new bose soundbar?
Are the Bose subwoofers better than using a wired Klipsch sub? The Klipsch are cheaper and very good subs. My problem is I need to find a sub 14 inches tall or less to fit where I need to put it.
Thanks! Fun review from you both!!🥰
Thanks for watching!

🤩
True, though you're assuming everyone wants an AppleTV.
You seem much more enamoured by this bar compared to the 900 review, asside from AI dialogue, even though the two bars i believe are otherwise identical.
Sony HT A9 with SW-5 vs Nakamichi dragon ?
And does maximum wattage can Give us loud volume ??
Why wasn’t the thumbnail for this video you wearing that head piece? Maaannn… think how many extra hits you’d get 😂
For strictly dialogue clarity, would you recommend the Bose ultra soundbar or the Samsung q990c?
Definitely the bose
the 990c is better lmao ive had both trust me
@@ghostpimp how would you compare the Samsung bar all alone (no bass or surrounds) with the Bose ultra? Not considering cost, do you still prefer the Samsung bar?
@@treverwilliams8711 I’d say the bose soundbar because the Samsung is made for the sub & bar to work together very well, the Samsung soundbar doesn’t do good alone considering that wasn’t what it was made for like the bose
@@ghostpimp thanks for the input!
I enjoyed listening to both of your opinions.
Glad you enjoyed it!
