I just picked up this sound bar on sale at best buy for $699 so excited to get it home and check it out. Outstanding review man very detailed and professional.
Great review…first time watching your channel! I have the Bose 900, Base Module 700, and Surrounds 700 and love it! Expensive but for me it’s exactly what I was looking for. Crystal clear sound, beautiful aesthetics, low profile, and Dolby Atmos! Thanks!
Ha! It seems like we follow each other on all these reviews. I’m so torn. I found a great deal on the bose 650. For movies, music, if it’s a difference of $600 do you think I should still go with the soundbar and sub setup instead? Thank you!!
@@gary_michael_flanagan_wildlife I guess we do follow the same reviewer. 😂 That’s a great price difference for the two of them. The specialist I work with at Best Buy magnolia recommended that to me, but in my small set up, I thought it be best with the sound bar. The two rear surrounds I have are the same as the 650. He thought it was a great set up for such small speakers, and thought it sounded great! Maybe in your arm around the 650 might be better. Let me know what you end up with and how it sounds.
I tried the 700 Soundbar in my bedroom a couple of years ago. The drivers beam and hurt my ears even at lower volume levels. It was just to much for my room. I purchased the B&O Soundstage and it is incredible!
It doesn’t shake, vibrate or rattle because low frequencies are cut off from the sound with filters. Probably built this way, because it was conceived to use with the subwoofer eventually, and where the soundbar cuts off, the subwoofer takes over.
When I moved out of my dads house I left him a nice Rotel amp with Tannoy speakers. last time I visited he had purchased a Bose system, I wasn't happy.
I have the bose 900 soundbar 700sub and 700surround speakers, this setup sounds amazing but i feel it's time for bose to upgrade the 700surround speakers, they're not loud enough for the money they cost.
There are 2 ways to make them louder. Run the adaptQ with them much further away, then place them back at the normal position. You can also wrap a small towel around them while you run it. Mine are plenty loud without doing the hack.

I have a bose cinemate 2 with sub bass already 10 years old thru optical cable. Can I use the bose 900 with it thru EARC with my bose cinemate 2 or just buy the bose 700 ? Thank you.
I think the sound is good. However, at this price, i would buy something else, something not a soundbar. Maybe a cheap av receiver and cheap speakers. Nice review man!
I have the 900 soundbar 700 bass and wanting to get the 700 rear surrounds, HOWEVER the only disappointing thing is when I turn my TV on the Bose soundbar does not connect unless I use the remote or go into the app and click on TV under Source. Anyone else experiencing this or have any suggestions
@@Kpaceguy it was happening with my old TV and best buy just delivered and installed our new Sony A95K and its still happening, geek squad guys said it was a common issue with the bose 900 soundbar
It's obviously not better than a dedicated surround sound system unless you get the sub and wireless speakers. But if you can afford the 650 you should just get it
@@Kpaceguy I plan on watching movies and TV the majority of the time with the soundbar because I have 2 SoundLink Flexes and those are amazing. I just love action movies that you can experience bass with but don’t want to buy the woofer yet.

I like Bose I listened to there proper 5.1 setup super small and powerful but massively expensive

Plug the firestick to the soundbar itself or plug the stick to the ARC port on the TV

You can get it today at Bose Certified Refurbished for $499. I bought the 600 and it looks brand new and works great.

Make sure hdmi cec is on with your TV and that you have it connected to HDMI ARC/eARC

My Soundbar 900 works great with my Acoustimass 300 and Surround Speakers 300.

It's a really good addition to the sound but it's a very expensive. Its only a good purchase if your room is big
