    Very cool bro,i like it👍
    Ive been looking at VNs alot lately. Would love to get one. Honestly I'd want the Iron Lion in it but if i found a nice 6 cylinder I'd definitely look at supercharging it i reckon.
    Its a bit of a pipe dream atm as i have a pretty nice VE SS thats a bit worked that i wanna sort some more stuff on....the neverending list huh😅

      Thanks bro, it’s something a little bit different that looks like something stock so its better that way, good for the street.. keep an open mind, but an Iron Lion would be sweet. I used to have a VE so I know how awesome they can be. You’re right, the list never ends with cars, I guess that’s part of the pain and the fun at the same time…

    Would you still recommend a L67 swap in a VN/VP in 2024? Seems like a pretty good performance to cost ratio all things considered, obviously a V8 has more potential but also much more expensive to swap in, especially a properly done LS swap

    • @GTZ05
      @GTZ05  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I honestly would, I love the feel of it, it’s relatively smooth, torque curve is great and you can do a lot more to it than I have, mine just has a 10psi pulley, higher ratio lifters and dual exhaust.. I left my pretty stock worried I would thrash it too much and damage it but it’s been bullet proof since I did the conversion in 2007… LS is a lot more expensive and even a iron Lion 5L would cost more than the super 6 these days (I think)

    currently part way through the swap, with the VT computer, is that the ECU and BCM? ive got a other questions as well if you wouldnt minda answering

      @GTZ05  20 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hey Jack, Happy to try answer, I did this back in 2007 so will stretch the memory. It’s ECU only on mine, everything else operates as a VP, this is basically the kit I bought off the shelf which allowed me to use the VT Transmission, there are some wiring diagrams that might help. v6conversions.net.au/product/vn-vs-wiring-kits/

      Thanks, yeah I do, looking forward to see where that VN SuperMang project ends up.. mines just relatively stock with a 10PSI pulley and lifter kit, but goes much better than a stock L67, I’ve had the motor in the car since 2007

    pathetic, my 2011 stock 3.0 diesel bmw x3 would eat it

      Whats more pathetic, is you comparing the worst X3 made to a 30+ year old car. The fact that you posted your comment with confidence, I’m embarrassed for you.

      I'd prefer this locally made piece of collectible history albeit modified over your pretentious overpriced expensive to service and maintenance nightmare BMW.
      Won't have DPF issues either!

      1 problem with your claim stock 3.0 diesel x3's up until more recent models struggle to do 0-100 in under 6.5 seconds on the street
      If you got the most basic(lightest) model with the 3.0 diesel there is word among bmw groups you may hit 100 in 6.2 seconds but even then you're still 0.5 seconds slower
      And thats assuming you as a driver only weigh 60kg and don't have passengers
      Where this thing did it in 5.7 seconds with 2 full grown guys in the car....

      @@ESISTTIGER spot on,
      Comparing this to those cars is odd in the first place. Enjoyed your comment. Thanks
