I love that the lyrics in "For Good" were based on the songwriter's daughter's feelings about her best friend, and if she were to never see her again. It really makes Glinda and Elphaba's final meeting all the more poignant.

From the moment when I clicked on this video, I got so excited cause I know the movie is about to come out. I LOVE it when WatchMojo releases their videos on a special occasion; a movie is coming out and a holiday
My older sister introduced me to this production. She gave me my love for Broadway musicals. My senior year of high school we ended our choir pops concert in the spring of 2008 with For Good-so much emotion. Fast forward some time later while in college, myself and my colleagues in the percussion studio at the University of North Alabama had to prepare an excerpt from the percussion book from a Broadway production for our spring jury and we all had to learn As Long As You’re Mine
as it should be, the song is beautifully written and goes perfectly with the moment, I can't think of a better song placed in a musical, close second would probably be Let It Go in Frozen (which funnily enough Idina Menzel also sings)
Who else was thinking there’s 19 songs on the soundtrack not 18? 🤣😂 And also a sort of kind of twist is spoiled by saying who’s singing at the ending of Finale. Atleast I consider it to be a twist. Love love love this video about Wicked. I’m so excited to see the movie. 😍
I’ve been taking voice lessons, and I told my teacher that I want to be able to sing defying gravity WITHOUT crying halfway through the song. I still haven’t gotten there yet. It’s just such a powerful song.
Definitely "Defying gravity (especially since it was also referenced in Shrek the musical) happy monday afternoon, Emily, take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well.
The Wizard of Oz, Tin Man series, Muppets in The Wizard of Oz, Oz the Great and Powerful, Legends of Oz: Dorothy’s Return, Wicked the Musical and Wicked the Movie. I love everything about this!
I do love defying gravity the original one, and oddly enough there is a South Korean production where Son Seung-Yeon is absolutely fantastic with Defying gravity, she is amazing!
Oh my gosh! I'm a huge Wicked fan and saw the musical when I was 12 in 6th grade and when I was 14 in 8th grade! I've listened to the album so many times ever since I got the soundtrack from a family friend for my 13th birthday first becoming a teenager! EEP! :) I'm also a huge number one Sonic the Hedgehog fan and have been since I was 10 in 4th grade. So to have both Wicked and Sonic Movie 3 back to back makes me soar to the freaking heavens above! EEP! :) I'm seeing Wicked at a pre-show at the AMC Theaters on Thursday at 3 with my best friend, Caroline! Oh my gosh! I cannot wait! EEP! :) Elphaba is my favorite and Glinda is my second favorite. :) Here are my favorite Wicked songs in order from the album! EEP! :) 1. For Good 2. Dancing Through Life 3. The Wizard and I 4. One Short Day 5. Defying Gravity 6. What Is This Feeling? 7. As Long As You're Mine 8. I'm Not That Girl 9. Popular 10. No One Mourns The Wicked 11. Thank Goodness 12. No Good Deed 13. Finale 14. I'm Not That Girl Reprise 15. Dear Old Shiz 16. March of the Witch Hunters 17. A Sentimental Man 18. Something Bad 19. Wonderful Hope you guys enjoyed! EEP! :)
“Defying Gravity” will always be number one but I myself love “No One Mourns The Wicked” and “No Good Deed” but only from Idina honestly, Idina and Kristen will always be THE Elphaba and Glinda for me. The movie will honestly be.. really hard to get immersed in as I’ll just see Ariana, not Glinda, but I hope it’s still good as I adore Wicked, it was the first musical I ever saw.
"The Wizard and I" is too high on this list. There is no way it deserves to be above "Popular" or "Loathing." My top six: 6) "The Wizard and I" 5) "NOMTW--Thank Goodness" 4) "Popular" 3) "Defying Gravity" 2) "Loathing" 1) "For Good" a) musical awesomeness; b) lyrical awesomeness; c) importance to character(s); d) importance to plot.
I totally disagree! You can have your own opinions, but, The Wizard and I deserves to be that high up! I love that song! :) It's my 3rd favorite song behind Dancing Through Life and For Good, in fact! :) Popular is my 9th favorite and What Is This Feeling is my 6th favorite. :)

I’ve seen Wicked four times. As a huge fan of Wicked, my favorite songs are Defying Gravity, No Good Deed and The Wizard and I
Haven't watched the entire video, but "finale" it's way too emotional to be so low ranked!!!!! It's the one I've cried the most at.
yeah, and wonderful above finale was a choice
Wicked blew me away when I was a kid.
From the moment I saw it, being the very first musical I ever saw in my life, I immediately fell in love with it
"For Good" was sung at my high school's graduation.
Absolutely Defying Gravity at Number 1
Awesome, i can't wait to see this movie so excited

Good deed is my top favorite then defying Gravity, popular but I like all of them
This order is perfection
I think they should rank how they were handled in the movie because One Short Day imo would be higher due to its use in the movie.
I love these Wicked songs!

I had a feeling Defying Gravity would be number one
My favourite songs are No Good Deed, Thank Goodness and As Long As You're Mine
Hot Take!
No Good Dead > Defying Gravity
I said what i said!!!
My friend Melanie loves the song Popular
I still think For Good is the best song from the musical but I can't be mad about Defying Gravity.
Love all the songs in wicked 💚💚💚💖💖💖
Number 1 has to be Defying Gravity, In my opinion
As Long as you’re mine. No good deed goes unpunished and of course For good
poor i’m not that girl reprise gone but never forgotten; except in this ranking
STING??? Oh, hell no!!!
I think F is probably more an "Elvis."
My most popular song on my playlist is popular
omg who is that at 17:48?
How dare Thank Goodness be so low???
I LOVE A Sentimental Men wtf
I planned my pee break to be during A Sentimental Man because it is the worst...and I'm not sure anyone wants to hear Jeff Goldblum sing it.
The Wizard and I.
#JusticeforNoGoodDeed
Wrong! No One Mourns the Wicked should be way higher! 😤

I totally disagree!
You can have your own opinions, but, The Wizard and I deserves to be that high up! I love that song! :)
It's my 3rd favorite song behind Dancing Through Life and For Good, in fact! :)
