Funny thing with a lot of women I talk to. They always try to end the conversation with me left on read. I notice that whenever I leave them on read to end the conversation, they will always message me later the same day and will keep this up until they get to a conversation they can end with my message left on read. And if I they succeed then I won’t hear from them for a couple weeks and when they start another conversation with me, the same thing happens over and over.

I always try to reply to people as promptly as I can. It wastes their time if I don't. I expect the same thing from people that I text. That is how I was rasied. You are very prompt and punctual with everything, you don't waste people's time, and you are always direct and honest.

I will say I’ve killed the attraction by merely reciprocating too many text exchanges back and forth although even if that happens just let some dead air sit for a while and she’ll probably come around. I notice that whenever I leave them on read to end the conversation, they will always message me later the same day and will keep this up until they get to a conversation they can end with my message left on read. And if I they succeed then I won’t hear from them for a couple weeks and when they start another conversation with me, the same thing happens over and over.
This is one of the reasons I hate texting..whatever happened to calling her up on the phone

I for one wouldnt like to be called if you could've texted. The exception to this is only if you or the person calling can't text or they need my immediate attention. This is just my personal opinion and I get anxious when people call me out of the blue and sometimes I even get anxious when someone texts me. So...basically do whatever you want and it is up to the person to communicate to you what they prefer and why.

I've been in a good relationship the past 7 months, but when I was single, I still called women, especially if I was actually trying to get to know them or planning on actually having a real conversation. Because nowadays getting someone's number is like the final prize. Went on 2 dates, still didnt get her number. All done via the dating app. Which was fine by me, but still weird.

She’s right to an extent but a paragraph is ok as long as it’s not talking about your feelings. Talk about feelings on the phone or in person. It shows maturity. A paragraph is ok if the girl likes you.

The whole "sending a text message too quickly so you don't come off as needy thing" is rediculous. It is an emotional game and I don't have the time or patience for games in a relationship. I always try to reply to people as promptly as I can. It wastes their time if I don't. I expect the same thing from people that I text. That is how I was rasied. You are very prompt and punctual with everything, you don't waste people's time, and you are always direct and honest.
Don't mimic the woman. Lead the woman. If she acts differently than you would want, keep doing it anyway.
See if she follows your lead; maybe she will. If not, there are other women who will. It's better to find out early on that she's not the one, anyway.

This works. I used this technique for years. Women get very annoyed when they get long messages. Also, mirroring is a marketing and negotiation technique that works great!
I hate long texting, too, and pretty much refuse to do it. But I've dated women who seemed to like sending ME long text messages, so if I'm supposed have been mimicking them, i guess they wanted it according to what you're saying?

If you are ever curious why that really cute guy you liked stopped talking to you, its because you do what she said and are sending short messages and taking forever to respond. That is sending the message that you arent interested and most guys, or really almost all guys who arent looking to get laid, will just stop talking with you.
If you show interest and reply reasonably and put some effort into responding its amazing the difference in response. For example if the guy asks "how was your day?" Dont just say "fine" or "good," say something that gives them something to reply to or even asking the question back shows interest.

It’s just reading the room. I will say I’ve killed the attraction by merely reciprocating too many text exchanges back and forth although even if that happens just let some dead air sit for a while and she’ll probably come around. Demonstrate you don’t care if she doesn’t text you back for 24 hours and you’ll be back in there. Too much texting = “Ew clingy” then 24 hours later it’s “why wasn’t he upset I didn’t text him back??????”
Also one big thing I’ve learned recently that women really like is when you set the date. Especially important in the first few text exchanges if not right away.

The problem with this girl’s advice is that it’s trying to get you to “give the girl what she wants”. That’s not going to happen because if I’m what she wants, then she doesn’t get to dictate how she gets me. I show up to validate myself, not her. I show up to talk about how great I am, not how great she is

The real issue with the advice is that a relationship isn't just one person being amazed by their partner, it's both people enjoying the others' company. I think not doing this is a huge mistake. However, just don't start this way. Once you know them asking real questions and having long text convos is key. That's how you actually get to know someone.

I agree with setting up a date. The purpose of a date is sex. If she looks good enough in person and the sex is good then get to know her during a meal she makes for you. If the meal is bad, tell her to take lessons before the next date. Don't let her move in until you want children as you may never get rid of her.
