They certainly do lie. In my own experience, I’ve been lied to about marital status, number of sex partners, and the reason past relationships fail and accusing the ex for cheating but it was either the opposite or true for both.
Even I've been guilty of ignoring red flags in new relationships, thinking it's just a small bump in the road. In hindsight, I should've just moved on but you invest so much time with a lass that you think it's going to turn out right. It's going to sort itself out. Nope.
I honestly don't put up with bullshit. The moment I see something I don't like, I am out! In my experience, most women have major red flags. If it's not one thing, it's another.

The traffic light rule or flag rule does work - list red lights (or flags), then some yellow lights (or flags) as in use caution and then of course green lights and or flags

You want to see if the tatooes are covering their self inflicting cutting wounds and discoloration of their skin due to bad habits like drug and alcohol abuse.
Because it can potentially show signs of past trauma in their life... She doesn't mean a few tatts I think she means people covered in tattoos like on their neck and chest. It can be a coping mechanism for abused people to get a lot of tatts to reflect their pain outwardly Imo

Maybe in some situations but I have experienced the opposite. I have seen no red flags early and the people can change into monsters sometimes.
