I've stopped reading books for fun completely after starting college. It's just...my attention span like completely vanished and between school and work I don't have the time to lay in bad and read books for hours anymore.
So...I watch book reviews instead. That's my "reading" now.

Watching these “best and worst..” videos have made me realize I tend to not really have many “worst books” of the year. I’m quite selective in what I choose to spend my time reading (especially as a college student with not enough of said time). If I don’t like a book, I won’t continue it. Nor do I usually pick up a book I know I potentially will not like. That being said, the 2 books last year I gave lower than 3 stars are The Selection Series. (Started the second book and was like...nope) and Lucky in love by Kasie West which I could not finish because *cringe*

It's always really cool to see someone who's growing out of YA books(especially the popular ones that are honestly garbage), but don't realize it yet. I think for me it happened as I got to be too old for these characters and I realized that they're problem solving skills were too infuriating to read anymore. Hoping that you'll review some more adult books this year! But if not, I enjoy your videos anyways :) Something about your attitude and personality is HILARIOUS

I honestly try to forget it exists. It's definitely my least favourite book of 2018. And that sucks because I love the first book but this one literally read like fan-fiction.
I disliked it a lot as well. I had a lot of problems with it, especially with Leah as a character.

I had read City of Bones long ago, but your enthusiasm for Cassandra Clare made me get the 2nd, and I was HOOKED! I listened to the audiobooks at work and was able to finish one a day. Now I'm on the last of the Mortal Instruments books and I DONT WANNA READ IT! I don't wanna end the series! I just wanna stay in my bubble of how things r now before things get worse. Lol
Granted, I'm anxious for the Infernal Devices too... Hmm.... I didn't think this through...

4. Leah On The Offbeat was okay. Like you said, "all the conflicts weren't really conflicts" and like "the love interest didn't have much chemistry with the main character."

I love reading but I'm always behind on current books that release at present because I'm always going back to read old books. That or I just buy books and dont read them till a year later.

I wanna see what Maas does with the ACOTAR series after she's finished Feyra's Arc. I am genuinely hoping to get more of an interesting story involving the many disregarded side characters of ACOTAR, i.e. Nesta, Elaine, Lucien, Tamlin etc etc (yes, Tamlin too!).
The worst book I read in 2018 was 172 Hours on the Moon, oh man, pointless romance, and ending that tried to be clever, thing that were put in there just to seem more interesting but didn't even play into anything. And the best one was probably The Female of the Species, it made me question a lot of things but also kept me intrigued and entertained, and got a kind of a good ending?

Quick question, with the court of frost book, would you say it’s more of a slice of life? Because personally, I absolutely adore slice of life and I wish more people would make books like that so if it is, I might actually have to buy it .

You know, I had similar feelings with the books I read last year and wasn't going to make a video for best books of 2018....but I'm probably actually going to this and make it a ranking.
My favourite book this year was Obsidio by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman from the Illuminae Files Trilogy and it was amazing and a great final book. Definitely recommended
I enjoyed reading a court of frost and starlight I mean there wasn’t any action there but it was good we got to see them after the final battle how they were coping with everything and stuff so yeah I liked it peace out
