My comment mint in a good way. Hade a friend who lost his truck in a simpler way . He was crossing a bridge on a main highway when a small dam gave way and swept is truck down stream it finely came to rest in wast deep water and he had to waded throw the wast deep water holding on to anything he could.! That way I sad that like him God was on looking after insurance they told it and got brand new one
For sure the Father watched over him.. These creeks can run swift and rise quickly…you just can’t underestimated how dangerous they are..Thank goodness the truck is totally covered..
One thing I’m concerned about is if that road Mike got stuck in and flooded is on David’s property….. insurance might not cover the damage 🤷🏼♀️. I know here in Virginia if something happens on private property it’s not covered as it is on city owned roads ect. I hope I’m wrong. Just wondering. Just so glad Mike is ok. That had to be a scary situation as it was happening. Good luck !! 🍀 🤞🤞
Mike, you survived your first mishap on the mountain. Always remember the Turn around, don't drown! I'm glad the family wasn't with you, and thankful you are ok! Be safe!!
Mike, when you named your channel DRIFTING Dreamers 5, I'm sure you weren't thinking about DRIFTING down the creek! So thankful for those trees that caught you! GOD is good!
I’m so glad no one was hurt and at least the kids got a bonus sleep over 😂. Thank goodness for framily and that Mel and Gary could help out ❤ DD5 lived and learned … next time call your wife bro 😂
So glad everyone is safe! It sounds like you are experiencing a modern day version of "The Oregon Trail". Maybe name it "Arkansas Homesteading" with issues of ice storm, tornado, creek to high, flash flood, trees covering the road, generator broke down, well low pressure, extreme heat, venomous snake, ..trespassers... etc
Mike, I can tell you genuinely realize that you made a mistake and how serious it could have been.... We learn from our mistakes man! So glad you are able to laugh about it the next day and I am glad no one was hurt. P.S. Your new nickname is Scuba! 😆
Znd Mike I remember telling you a while back... All Terrain tires always on a 4x4. hahahahah But I know you cant let yourself fall without the YOUR truck falling with you LOL Love ya man be safe brother
Mike is for sure bringing excitement to the mountain! So glad he's all good. 🙌 Glad he's got a good sense of humor because he's not going to live this down for a whole minutte. Ol triple D. 🤣
Happy everyone’s fine. Mike has a great sense of humor. David like you said, Mike filming it was a good thing. A-lot ahead to look forward to on C’mon Mountain! Keep on keeping on. 😁👍🏼❤️
As you said things can be replaced Mike. Thank goodness this had the ending it did. Stay happy, healthy, hydrated, safe and warm. May God continue to bless you, your family and your adventures.
So glad that Mike made it out safely. A saying I taught my children “it’s happened, it’s over, learn from it and move on”. - There’s a reason the rear view mirror is much smaller than the windshield….keep looking forward with an occasional glance backwards 🙃 Moving on …..
Mike, I am so glad you are safe! David, I'm so happy you and the kids were safe at the 41.36! You guys got so much rain and the flooding was the worst! As you both keep saying "You live and you learn " I bet Lissa was a nervous wreck, seeing Mike's short before he called her! I'm grateful and thankful everyone and the animals are ok, safe and happy!
So glad Mike is ok. Life lessons are sometimes learned the hard way. Truck can be replaced , lives can’t be replaced. Hope you can get the truck out. You should make a tee shirt, Drifter down. Hilarious
I just want to say how happy I am that Mike is OK. I just love his attitude after the fact... He has faced it head on, that is a mark of a winner. Tell mike good things comes to those who keep a positive attitude. Good Luck to all on C'mon Mountain.
Those creeks can rise in minutes. So many people lose their lives because of rising creeks. They are no joke. So very thankful you made it out OK. You’re one lucky guy!
Mike, it’s so great to see you laughing. So thankful God spared your life. Y’all have just really settled in great with the rest of the framily. You are loved ..❤❤
No one is perfect , just glad you are ok #1 . It will be ok.think about it this way ,you made it out ok, and you got those babies to think about, so don't stress your truck can get fixed. Everyone learns things everyday, weather it be the hard way or not.just so happy you are ok.praise God. God had you in the palm of his hand. Live an learn they say. I know that when you fell down you bounced back like a rubber ball, I guess you need to grow some bobbers, I know what to send you a life jacket. Stay well, glad your ok. Love you all.❤️🙏✝️👍
So glad and happy you all are alright on Co’ mon Mountain!❤ And yes we live and learn ❤️ Always look to the one that’s always with us,Jesus Christ!! I love you guys 🤗❤️🤗
If you don’t let yourself make mistakes, you would never learn anything. Just remember your lessons. Thanks for letting us know how you are. 😊😊😊 You are so blessed to be in that community!
Mike's going to give his kids tons of stories to tell, like my dad did. There was the time he disassembled the old piano because he thought it wouldn't fit through the door (it would have), the time he electrocuted himself with his "re-wired" skil saw, and the time he tried to tow a John Deere with a VW Beetle and a rusty chain. They'll remember all those things like that - and that you did them trying to be a good dad. ❤️
Here in Africa for many many years we have been taught if a river is in flood DO NOT CROSS a FLOODED RIVER. A lot of people do not learn this lesson but the majority of people do. I am 70 now and we were taught that lesson from an early age.
Mike so glad you are well and safe...Uncle David makes a great sitter...kiddos to Mel & Gary for opening their home ...everyone to the rescue and Mike's safe and well...Lady C from the Bahamas 🇧🇸
Don't worry abt it. Do u know how many good ole boys, and girls, go muddin in old gilopies or their 20ft high nice, shiny new trucks and plow through muddy back roads , bust wide open a 6ft deep ditch. Everybody gets a turn at being pulled out of muddy deep ditches. My sons used to come home so muddy I barely recognize em. Then my baby, my one and only girl, decided she wanted to go with her brothers, and had a hilarious time. She got tired of wearing abt a 100 lbs of mud all over her so she finally quit that mess. There was a LOT of truck repairs. ENJOY! you're making memories. That could be something to start on a certain part of the Cmon mountain,, a muddy track for the mudders, and maby charge a small fee.
So glad you came out of this safe. Please be careful out there. You will learn this country the longer your here. It’s a great place but you always have to stop and think before you leap. And working outside wear high boots and gloves. Lots of poisonous snakes and insects, spiders. And poison bushes. Take care y’all.
Glad everyone is safe! Drain that oil and when you do take the breather off and the oil fill cap. Put oil in it run it for a minute then drain it again. Repeat until there is no milky oil left. Good luck and thank the lord God is great! Oh and you Floridians crack me up with your antics in Arkansas.
❤️❤️❤️❤️ so glad to see everyone is ok! I have been waiting on this video since this morning on SLR!!! I SPIT MY SODA OUT WHEN THEY SAID MIKE SAID SEND IT!! 🤣
Mike, I'm very relieved young man that you are safe. Remember the old saying" Young and dumb!" -live forever- yup, we all think that when we are young and risk takers( U.S. Marine experience) - your Guardian Angel meant for you to be around for your beautiful family- I'm sure Alyssa gave you some loving advice as well as David( wisdom)- " Turn around don't drown!" - a good saying. Enjoy your C'mon Mountain journey and welcome to this great community! Arkansas is truly a beautiful place with great patriotic Christian families. GOD BLESS YOU ALL. Semper Fi- Peter p.s. thanks Uncle David for your loving support of Mike and Family.
Please get to know neighbors and others to call so parents and kids getting off school bus don't get caught separated and not able to cross the creek. Please build that walk across cable bridge.
So glad everyone is okay But now everyone can see you don't go though water. It doesn't take much to take your life . I can't believe David has made it thought all these times . When it rains on The mountain it rains and the Road takes a beating . Thank you for sharing this ❤️ Thank you SLR for being there to help Thank you.
As everyone else has said.....SO thankful everything turned out fine! I bet your heart was racing!!! Best of luck getting the truck figured out with the insurance company! And again, best wishes to you and your family in your new journey. Always remember how many people have your back!!!
Greetings from Northeast Ohio. I’m so glad Mike’s OK. I don’t like laughing and making fun of him though. With the children being gone over to Simple Life Reclaimed, I hope Lizza got a chance to get her camper organized. Everyone take a breath.
