Go to the Diamond mine and have fun digging. It’s yours to keep whatever you find. About 2 years ago found a very, very valuable Diamond. Taken all my kids and grandkids. Murfreesboro, AR. Also, Magic Springs in Hot Springs,. Wyatt will love. And don’t forget out famous winery , restaurant, and tour. I’ll drop more info as time goes by. I love AR.
I got an allowance when I was young but I had to earn it by doing chores. Teaching me if I wanted anything I had to work for it!!!! Taking out trash, dust furniture, etc. I am glad mom taught me that valuable lesson!!!!!!!!

When we were kids, with money we earned and money we got for birthdays and such. I had 2 banks in my room, One for saving half the money, and the other for spending 1/2 the money. It was a great lesson even though when your a kid you don’t like saving! 😊

I think the kids would love it, and I'll bet between you 3 SLR 5, and c'mon's 6 someone will find a diamond. Did you know that Arkansas is the only state where you can still find diamonds. Also there's plenty of other places to dig too where you can find other gems. (The kids might get into the whole rock tumbling and such). The girls can learn to make jewelry by wire wrapping the rocks too.

I've been to several of them. Also I'm a simple dresser. My favorite clothes colors are black, gray, and navy blue. Wishing you the best. alot of finance experts surprisingly still recommend the old fashioned way of learning to handle money 4 envelops. Everytime you get money you put some in a donate/pay it forward/ tithe/share envelope then if there are any "bills" a cuss jar payment lol a loan from mom or dad payment or needs like clothes pay the "bills" then divide remainder in half. Half goes in short term spending day things that cost under 50 dollars or snacks or something and half long term saving/spending for college or vacation money or a car or stocks or something major or for later in life.
I went back to school full time when my kids were grades 5 and 6. We always made Sunday a family day. It was usually a day to go fishing, exploring and a cook out. My kids still say how those are some of their best memories from growing up. Make those memories with family. They are so worth it.

I can still remember when my twin brother and I came down with the mumps at the same time..this was before everyone had TV.. my mom played card games with us for hours and made homemade milkshakes shakes using a a jar and shaking it..Wyatt will remember these moments as an old man too.. I’m an 80 year old woman.. There’s loads of great places in Arkansas to see.. the Mammoth caves, the diamond fields.. etc..

I had a couple on one of my homes and they were great for shade and convenient to wind closed for protection from extreme wind and rain. Just a thought. The nice thing about living frugally is that you can see all the "stuff" you haven't used in a year or more and probably don't need a lot of it. So now is a good time to say as you unpack and go through things "Do I really need this?" Congrats Wyatt on your new bed etc!!
