Man. The more I watch you, the More I admire you. You Make it work for you and are not afraid of any sweat! I would like to see more with friends or family But I would rather do it by myself too! I'm 61 and by myself. Enjoy family!
Just remember that telling them you got it does not include them! Man, they are your backbone. You live for them so let them live for you. Family and friends are the Life
Definitely more cowbell! I like the saying "work is the shortcut". I'm more partial to " even the sun shines on a dog's ass on occasion ". The bucket and winch genius. The projects are progressing nicely and for being a mostly one person show, you're kicking butt.
Captain you did a great job. People in your comments that were saying you were a little overboard have to remember that you're driving your kids across that bridge you want it correct also as a teaching tool you want to show people how to do it correct and as a investment property you want to make it safe for tourists to cross it once again outstanding job
Captain, I have to tell you, Best you tube video out there. Love the way you think. Great stuff and I really enjoy watching , you keep it real. Thank you.........
I like what you are doing with the bridge, We each, would probably build it different, but it is your bridge so go with it and enjoy the trip. At my age all I can do is reminisce of events when I was your age and watch others as they get involved in their projects.
Had a co-worker give me the WTF look 😯 when I dumped bagged dry concrete & poured water on top, like you did. Was way better in filling any and all voids AND set-up just fine, too. 👍
I like it! It's looking like sturdy base for the bridge. I guess it's going to be logs from here on and planks on top??? The work is the shortcut! The more you put in at the beginning, the less you have to sort out at the end. Keep 'em coming Captain.
I found that term from your older videos. I wrote it down and pinned it to my wall so it's the first thing I see every day. Words to live by. I'm curious why you quit using it in your video intro graphics?
i like it... its a simple version of how we build state highway bridges... got piling and headers... actually pretty smart... i woulda never been as resourceful as you are bud...the things you can do with a little tractor and smarts are never-ending in the woods...
I agree with you work never hurt anyone and it gets the job done. There is always easier ways to do things, But it takes more money and takes all the fun out of doing the job.You go CK and enjoy doing what ever project you are doing.
Oh my, I thought you were on the way to a hissy fit... as the bucket tumbled down into the stream 🤯 But then you had a 755 dragline 😎😎😎 The water level came into its own for levelling the pads either side, and to be only .25" out, can't be bad !!! Good use of tee posts for ground anchors, if only you used the post driver on both sides 🤣, your alter ego gave you grief over that and the concrete too !!! Pleased the stone has turned up, I agree always a good feeling backfilling a muddy hole !!! Hope you are able to spend the Independence weekend with your family, unless you are at your station.... Wherever you are, enjoy as best you can Sir 👍🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸
The bridge project is great, a great learning project. If there was a award for a slightly crazy man that successfully argues with himself across the creek. "THE WINNER IS CAPT. KLEEMAN
Well yep captain that way better way then sleeper logs though you said not permanent that looks like it can to me great job .can't wait to see the yacht get closer getting done.love the content and how your always positive not just on the task at hand but life also great job and a great human love it brother keep it up .and thank you.👍✌️😎👌
In a previous video you said you would figure out how to get the rocks from the creek bed. When I saw the bucket fall down the hill, I thought, OOPS. Then when I saw what you were doing, I thought, well he did figure it out. Fantastic solution. I have questions but I will wait and see what you do. Have good days!!
if ya gona do a job then doggone it do it properly... and ya sure did!. There is a trick to squaring up in the woods on ya own... use two tapes (or one and piece of string with a loop at each end at the length of the diagonal), cut ya self a branch to the cross width and then elastic band it to the diag length tape (or in the loop!) and then hold the other end of the stick on the other tape to length... when you pull it tight it will automatically be to length and square!. Loving the 'adventures of Captain K in the woods' and ya videos always leave me in stitches.
heh, when I watched you tip those logs down into the creek in the last video, I thought, "Oh, bad idea, he's definitely going to be tripping over those later...". Neat work on the bridge though, every time you drive over it you'll remind yourself what a nice job you did back then. Free joy...
you can see the tracks of the old crossing through the creek clean that up some and the tractor can get to the other side or at least the sxs which will make getting the logs across way easier. also one trick for setting up the winch line is to hang a chain tree to tree on the other side then you have a straight line of chain to hang your snatch blocks from it makes positioning logs really easy instead of just anchoring straight to one tree
Very simple and accurate method of establishing level and square. I think that is being lost in our day due to things like Lazer. Not that they are bad but that we need to retain our basic understandings
Great video ! Enjoy watching you use the pigathora…..pygmytho…. ugh ! Aww you know, that there math theory thing to get the bridge squared up. lol Enjoy the Hoosier humor. Always a good time watching your videos.
You are making an easy job overly complicated. Just measure the distance you need to span the creek and cut to that length and secure them in place.
You think this is complicated, try building a boat shaped cabin in the woods and justifying the cause to strangers around the world. Ooof.
@@CaptainKleeman 🤣🤣🤣😂👍
Let the Capt decide what's what
@@CaptainKleeman lol keep doing what your doing.

I admire your technical and common sense in doing your work
Great job Capt and you did it all by yourself. Don't let others bring you down when you do things like this and accomplish so much all by yourself.
Thanks for the kind words
Man. The more I watch you, the More I admire you. You Make it work for you and are not afraid of any sweat! I would like to see more with friends or family

You have a great sense of humor. Very entertaining. " You had a post driver the whole time!" That cracked me up.
😂😂
Captain you did a great job. People in your comments that were saying you were a little overboard have to remember that you're driving your kids across that bridge you want it correct also as a teaching tool you want to show people how to do it correct and as a investment property you want to make it safe for tourists to cross it once again outstanding job

Food coloring in the water makes it much easier to see. Orange seems to work the best.
Chaulk works as well!
It did need more cowbell! Lol. You also showed your intelligence on several levels. Good use of everything.
Thanks for watching!
You can always put a wood sealer on those tree logs to protect them. You did a really nice job on the step. I like your rock mover.
Thanks for watching!

In a previous video you said you would figure out how to get the rocks from the creek bed. When I saw the bucket fall down the hill, I thought, OOPS. Good job, master !
Thank you!
that was slick using the bucket.you need a post driver its so much easier to drive posts, and it would be a great welding project for you to make
Hahaha, I agree, I used one in the end of the video.
SALUDOS, KLEEMAN FROM CLIFTON N.J ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO AS ALWAYS G.B.Y. YOU DID A GREAT JOB, ALL BY YOURSELF.
Looking Good!!!!!!
Thank you!
the bridge is looking great ,love the stone look
Thank you!
I wish we had people with your work ethic around here. Absolutely enjoy your channel. Stay safe
Hey glad you’re back!
you can see the tracks of the old crossing through the creek clean that up some and the tractor can get to the other side or at least the sxs which will make getting the logs across way easier. also one trick for setting up the winch line is to hang a chain tree to tree on the other side then you have a straight line of chain to hang your snatch blocks from it makes positioning logs really easy instead of just anchoring straight to one tree
I own nothing that can cross that.
Have to admit, I thought throwing the tractor bucket in the creek was a DP oops also 😂🤣. Working smarter not harder 👍🏼 good video
Thanks for watching!
Man this is great! Can’t wait to see the next update!
Thanks!
Awesome keep it up bud
Nice job Capt!!!!!
