Great question Greg! I also wear shoes before reviewing. They are very comfortable and lightweight. I use them as walking shoes on trips when I don’t want to take full blown running shoes, which can be think. They only “complaint” is that tongue is thin, short and the top is plasticity. I have this model and I'm looking to buy one additional pair. I use them for every day use, but suddenly take a quick run to catch the bus or play with my kid when I'm home. This is my go to shoe for mid-season as it's warmer than the classic Cloud while also not as warm as the Cloud Hi.
Hello, had a question if you have a moment. Does this shoe have a high arch? I have flat feet and have found the only comfortable models are the cloud 5 Coast and X3 AD. Thanks for any help!
They are pretty flat since they are a walking shoe. The Cloud 5 coast is a running shoe with a modified top. The Cloud Nova has more of an arch but stays in the walking show family .
I have wide feet as well. Most of the walking shoe lineup is wider than a regular cloud. If you are looking for wide, I would aim for cloud runner or Cloud Monster. Also, the cloud Nova is wide as well.
@@RootedConsulting the cloudnova is very nice, but i have heard that the strap on the instep is very uncomfortable, after wearing for a while. It is not true? I'm looking for a comfortable all day shoe, for walking, traveling. Which do you recommend? Thanks
Great question Jeff. These are walking shoes not running shoes. While they are well cushioned as a walking shoe they don't absorb enough shock for running and jogging.
Thanks. I bought cloud swift 3. I’m not a serious runnner. You think those are good for everyday plus light workouts? Looking for that mix. I run a mile on treadmill

How do these compare to the cloud 5 for every day walking shoes?
These are solid every day shoes. The Cloud 5 has much more cushion. If you are walking every day aim for Cloud 5 or a show like the cloud stratus.
Do they fit correctly or do I need to get a 1/2 size big?
I always get 10.5 to 11 size shoes. With On I get 10.5 and they feel good.
I have a wide sole. I've heard that Cloud 5 Push is larger than Cloud 5. This one? is it wide or narrow?

Are these good for running tread mill 1 mile. Maybe 2. Plus everyday.

Better have four fingers to wear these. The toebox is too narrow and that makes they extremely uncomfortable.
It’s true, many of On’s shoes have a slimmer profile. The Cloud Stratus, Monster and Nova accommodate a broader foot like mine.
