I got a pair of ON Cloud 5s after watching this video, and I went to Disneyland wearing it, and let me say that my mind was absolutely blown away. Went there for a full day, 12 hours, barely sat, and two of the rides broke down so I stood and waited in line for 4 hours straight at least, without walking. And after the whole day, my feet didn't even feel tired at all, like I could legit go on a run even after going to Disneyland for the whole day, which is absolutely ridiculous to me. I'm so thankful my pair of ON Cloud 5s exists because if I'm not sure what to wear for the day, they CAN and WILL always be my go-toes. The shoe is so lightweight and the lacing system is so convenient.
Big thanks for checking out the video and following up to share your experience!! Glad that you had a good experience with ON. I am convinced that having the proper paid of shoes is super helpful for long days on your feet. Also check out the Cloud Runners, Stratus, or Monsters. I think ON really shines when the shoe sole is a little thicker.
This Shoes is the WORST hello "influencer" Just stop misleading people with your lies to get few dollars from this company. STOP SPREADING LIES oncloud is the worst shoes I have every wore or bought in my life they started to be squeaky after 2 months what a shame, now they will be thrown as it is so embarrassing to wear them I emailed their customer services, they told me the floor is causing it. well, no they squeak on every floor this is the worst shoes I have ever bought in my life I bought it in the UK and cost me 160£ for this price I could have bought two from my favourite comfy brand clark or ecco never again, I will never buy from this company again. wat a shame, expensive shoes for rubbish quality. my feet are hurting me, now I have an expensive shoes in the garbage bin with no use. it caused me feet pain, bruises and more! it does not provide support, and it makes your feet boiling. this shoes does not allow your feet to breath and it become smelly after few days of wearing it. never again I am so disappointed. I wish I had read the comments, I am hopeful my review will make you think twice before wasting your money.
I've been suffering from severe plantar fasciitis for 9-10 months - bought a pair of On cloudgo's two weeks ago - Day one, I had noticeably less discomfort by days end.. even less on day two and now 2 weeks later, I have zero pain... It's such a blessing to able to be on my feet again without the pain..I'm sold on these shoes.
I’m so glad to hear that you’re having success with your shoes and aren’t having pain! Several have commented that quality shoes have helped them manage injuries or ailments. Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your experience!
it's been two months since I bought my On Cloudflyer 4 and it's been great. I run with it and wear it on casual fridays and weekends. very comfortable when I'm walking most of the day and running stairs.
Agreed the ONs are nicely lightweight and comfortable. I think On Cloud shoes shine best when the sole of the shoe is a little thicker. Big thanks for sharing and checking out the video!
Big thanks for your comment! Made my day man👍🏾 I hope you’re right about blowing up but even more importantly I hope to just make good videos that are helpful.
I recently did a lot of hiking in the Swiss Alps and northern Italy. I used them for approximately 30 miles in 2 weeks, in different kinds of landscapes, and they were very comfortable and still look very good. I used my hiking boots one day because it was raining a lot, and my feet were sore afterward.
Cool review! I'm an avid runner and just bought the On Cloudmonsters as a slow/recovery day shoe. They look cool and feel fine, but the price point is way up there.....getting into the price point where you can find shoes 3 oz ligher with super foam and synthetic plates. Overall the Cloudmonster is a nice looking, eye-catching shoe -- but for slow days you can spend $60 less and have a shoe that's just as capable.
Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your thoughts! Agreed the cloud Monsters and most shoes from ON are overpriced. But, I really like the Cloud Monsters and they are some of the most cushioned shoes I’ve worn. I’m a huge sneaker-head and love trying new kicks but I also still have much to learn! I’m more of a 5k kinda runner and walk often, my focus is just getting miles in and staying active, and the Cloud Monsters are great for that . But understandably they may not be the thing for more serious runners.
I work in a NYC Hospital . I’m responsible for 2 OR’s 21 rooms . I’m on my feet 10hrs a day . I’m 240lbs mostly solid . Lol . I’ve used Yeezys, Ultra boost, Nike presto reacts . I noticed most nurses ,PA’s , surgery tech and vendors wearing oncloud or Hoka Clifton’s. After speaking to multiple podiatrist, who I see wearing them . They recommend oncloud . I suggest the cloudmonster if u are on your feet 8hrs or more . Btw I use something with less cushion when lifting weights in the gym .
Love this comment and thanks for sharing!! Also thanks for the tidbit about podiatrist. And yes, the Cloud Monsters have great cushion. But I can understand how the Monsters wouldn’t be ideal for lifting or any exercise that required lateral movement. I use Cloud Runners when working out, I really like them also but they’re not quite as soft as the Monsters. I sure the Monsters for walking and everyday wear. Again thanks for checking out the video!
I love my OnClouds. They are expensive, but for a kinda wide, kinda flat foot, slightly different size left and right, putting all my pressure on my heel….they just work for me. I tried Brooks, Hoka, Saucony, Addidas, NB, Nike, etc. and just came back to the CloudEclipse every time. May even pick up a Monster 2.
Yo big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your experience! ON’s are my favorite too. I think the Cloudmonster, Cloud Surfer, Cloud Runner, Cloud Stratus, and Cloud Eclipse are all great with varying degrees of cushion. However I do like shoes from other brands (such as Brooks, Hoka, etc) too and think there’s lots of comfortable options. But still like ON best so far.
Great video quality, editing, narrative, and pacing. Well done! May be a review but I acknowledge your attention to detail. Keep up the work and the effort my guy
Thank you for this comment and for checking out the video! As a solo creator this made my day bro! I really try to make helpful and entertaining content. And I try to get better with each video. Big ups to you for recognizing the effort!👍🏾
I missed the Reebok Zigtek but if they’re similar in feel to ON that’s great. Hopefully they were at a better price too! Also shows there are other comfortable option on the market. Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing!
Absolutely. I still have my zigteks after years of use on and off. Thats exactly what they look like. I think too many people I thought they were just a gimmick. Not me. If I saw zigteks for sale again I would be all over them and buy another pair. It seems rebook as a company has lost its mojo and place in the market for shoes and athletic wear.
Big thanks for checking out the video and commenting. I think ON shoes are better in the styles with thicker shoes soles like the Cloudmonster or Cloud Surfer. I def think they’re worth trying.
Not a runner, but I got a pair of X3's for a trip to Asia. I was walking around all day and they were probably the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever used for that amount of walking. They also had great stability and weren't so squishy like a lot of other cushioned runners. For the amount of hate ON seems to get, I was very impressed.
Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing! I think ON shoes are also nice because their light weight. I think the X3’s are the perfect pair to get if you don’t like that squishy feeling. I also have a pair of Cloud Swift that aren’t squishy. I tried the X3’s but ended up going with the Cloud Runners and Monsters.
Those are the exact model I bought. I teach elementary school and I’m on my feet all day. For the money I spent it was a great purchase and would by another in a heartbeat!
Agreed 100%. I thought the Cloud Runners were great too. It helps that the sole is a little thicker which makes them soft. Big thanks for checking out the video and taking time to comment!
First time i tried the cloudmonster the other day because i heard how comfy they were. For me they are comfy and probably the most cushioned shoes ive ever worn and im glad i got them
The Cloudmonster are my faves! I really enjoy the Bondi 8 also, and it’s neck and neck as to which is my fave but ultimately I prefer the Cloudmonster overall and I prefer the Bondi for training. Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your thoughts!
Im a nurse and on my feet all day long. Im always looking for comfortable shoes. Brooks Ghost 15 was recommended to me and i bought a pair and its very comfortable. Another coworker recommended the On Cloud but like you i wanted to do some research on my own. On Cloud isnt as popular here so im still on the fence about buying a pair but in the meantime I tried the Adidas 4DFWD and let me tell you these are the most comfortable shoes as yet. I might still buy a pair on On Cloud in the near future of I will spend a bit more time with my Adidas 4DFWD. Good luck in your search. Comfort is King.
I think comfortable shoes are important for anyone that spends lots of time standing on their feet. I really like my ON Clouds and find them uniquely comfortable. I think ONs are better with the models that have slightly thicker soles. I have a couple of pair of Cloud Runners and Cloud Monsters and they’re great. I also have a pair of Cloud Swifts which don’t feel like anything special. I haven’t heard of the 4DFWD but going to have to look them up. Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your thoughts!
I walk about 6 miles per day on weekend, so 12+ miles per weekend. I normally wear Brooks Revel 5 running shoes, which are extremely lightweight and comfortable, but not very durable. I think my On Cloud's are not quite as comfortable, but handle walking long distances better and my feet feel less tired than with the Brooks. We will see how my On Clouds hold up over next couple of months, but so far I really like them and I really like the way they look. It's hard to find sneakers that look good and are good for lots of walking. They really have a great design language that's very appealing, they look great and can be dressed up a lot better than my Brooks. Nice video!
Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your experience! I actually like the way most styles of Brooks look and the ONs have grown on me. Generally I like the styles of ON that have thicker shoe soles and find them more comfortable than most. My favorites are the Cloudmonster and so far they’ve held up decently. But I also notice that shoes kinda go flat after a few months of wear and tear.
I used a 25% off coupon from Mountain High Outfitters and it brought my total from $169.99 to $127.49 not including tax. Huge help for me to get into the new Cloud Flyer 5 for work shoes. I recommend getting a half size larger for this brand. I just can’t get into the look of Hoka and they made me feel like I was going to flip forward. I believe I prefer the OC over others bc my foot is more narrow with a higher arch. It’s the only shoe that hugs my arch and there’s also plenty of room in the toe box. I stand all day for my work over clients as an esthetician and really needed new work shoes. But without the coupon I would not have paid $169.99. Not for any shoe for that matter. Esp when we can use coupons that really help get us in a shoe we want and might not be able to afford otherwise.
@@Pugangelx3 I totally understand not liking what I call “the rocker feel” where the shoe feels like it’s propelling you forward. I actually like that while I’m running or walking but I find it can make it annoying to stand sometimes. It’s never been a dealbreaker for me but I know exactly what you’re talking about.🤣 Yes I can see why you like ONs better. Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your experience!
I like the Cloudrunner, like the Cloudmonster, like the Cloudflyer, like the Cloudflyer Waterproof, love the Cloudrunner Waterproof & absolutely adore the Cloudstratus 2.0. The CS 2.0 is my favorite shoe. I cannot wait to try the Cloudstratus 3. I'm a fan LOL
Thanks a bunch for checking out the video and sharing your comment! I think the ON models with thicker soles are generally better and more cushioned. So like you, I like the Runners, Surfers, and stratus better than the Cloud 5’s or X3’s. And the Cloud Monsters are great if you like cushioned shoes.
My experience with them was a bit of a rollercoaster. The first time I tried them ON (pun intended) they were great, but when I started using them I made the error of tightening them a bit much and those laces do *not* come looser with time, they stay very tight. So the first days they were uncomfortable for me and my girlfriend. We bought them for a trip to Disney and Orlando. Within time I realized the laces were too tight and I loosen them up and that made the shoe a lot bareable for me and a lot more usable so i was very happy. I told my gf about it but she told me hers were pretty loose already so the feet pain was probably due to the fact that Disney and Orlando parks will destroy your feet no matter how comfortable your shoe is. The comfort for me is just ok, not bad not amazing 7/10. I can find NB shoes that are more comfortable than OC shoes in a heartbeat. But since they are lightweight and ventilated, you can wear them without discomfort for a lot longer than NB or Nikes. Durability on them are amazing, truly a shoe made to last, i have been wearing mine for a year and they look almost as good as new. Lasr but not least, the styling. I think they look great! It was the first thing that i liked about them. I will be getting more OC shoes definitely, they are bit expensive for how they feel but they last long, are relatively comfortable, and they look great. I recommend trying to get them at stores that have specials like by one and the other half off. We have outlets here that have those offers so that helps a ton.
Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your story! I think Disney makes for an outstanding test of shoe comfort, it’s lots of walking and standing. I haven’t had an issue with the laces but I have the Cloud Runners and Cloud Monster which both have traditional tie laces. I know the cloud 5’s have preset laces. I definitely think it’s worth trying different models. Also I think ON shines with a little thicker sole.
Hello, as a soccer referee, I've been on the hunt for suitable footwear for quite some time now. The conventional soccer referee shoes are primarily designed with players in mind, featuring a narrower build. However, these shoes tend to be snug to enhance the players' feel and control over the ball. Given that I officiate in tournaments, I find myself constantly moving across the field for up to 8 hours a day, which often leaves my feet sore by the end of it. Notably, the majority of my matches take place on turf (70%) with the remainder on grass (30%). While traditional cleats are typically recommended for grass due to the required traction, I'm considering trying out the ON Cloudsurfer Trail Waterproof shoes, which I believe will suit both surfaces. I'm hopeful that this $170 investment will prove worthwhile.
Yo big thanks for checking out the video! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. 🤔 I could see that working. I’m a fan of the ON models when the shoe has a little bit thicker of a shoe sole like with the Cloud Surfers, Runners, and Monsters. I don’t think the cloud 5’s, X3’s or Cloud Swifts feel as cushioned. I’ve never tried the trail version of the cloud surfers but I’m guessing that shoe sole would adopt well for what you need. Please let me know how it turns out? Thanks again for sharing!
I’m historically a Nike fan too but since I’ve gotten into comfort shoes I don’t really buy Nike anymore🤷🏾♂️. But I still like the way Nikes look. Thanks for checking out the video and sharing!
@@halfmoon8285 I have 3 pair. I have the Cloud Runners, Cloud Swift, and Cloud Monsters. I like the Cloud Runners and Monsters a lot. I think they’re great for walking and general everyday use. I think ON Cloud really shines in models with thicker soles. My Cloud Swift feel like any other shoe. Hope this helps!
I appreciate your critical review and showing how you build your opinion. Very good review. I bought my first pair of ons yesterday, the cloudrunner 2 waterproof. Interested how the will make themselves after some time. Have a great day guys. Greetings from 🇩🇪
Thank you so much for checking out the video and for this comment. How do you like your ONs? I also have the Cloudrunner waterproof but I have the first version and they’re among my favorites. I like the Cloudrunner for the amount of cushion it has without having a really thick shoe sole. Greetings from Atlanta Georgia 🇺🇸
@@fitnessnbeer9835 Well, wore them first time today and I have to say they are very comfortable. Only flaw is that due to the broad sole they are not that nice for driving. But could also be a matter of habit. My previous shoes were pretty narrow. The cloud 5 might have been a better choice. Might buy them in the near future. Have a blessed day.
I usually wear Hokas for gym and running purposes. I purchased two pair on sale and I will say these are game changers !! Logged 6 miles running fresh out the box no break in !!
@@danielson6377 I understand. Hoka Bondi were my active shoe of choice for the longest. Recently been learning toward the Nike Invincible 3 but still like my Bondi better for casual wear. Huge thanks for checking out the video and sharing your experience!
I watched the video, then wrote my comment, before looking at the other comments. I discovered ON brand at a pickleball tournament (daughter played and won, not me). I did not try them, but remembered the name next time I went shoe shopping. After bunion surgery I want super cushy soles. I tried on a few brands, ON felt best, then I chose Cloudsurfer. It feels like I'm wearing and walking on one of those mats in front of the kitchen sink. I wish I had know about these when I was teaching math, on my feet all day at the board. The added bonus is the green shade creek (with neon orange accents) makes my feet look soooo small. I wore them to play tennis every day, so the first pair did not last long. They are not the Roger, which were very uncomfortable for me, so that was my mistake. I have since bought a second pair of creek cloudsurfers to be my regular shoe, and switched to Babolat Jet Tere for tennis. Now I have the best of both worlds.
I want tor try the Rogers because I am curious how they compare to other models of ON shoes. Also I know exactly what you’re talking about with the kitchen mat comparison, good description. I generally think ONs are more comfortable with the styles that have thicker shoe soles. Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your experience!
Tried many brands because my feet suffered from standing up all day Nike air Puma Reebok Asics still suffering Tried On cloud 5 and Voilà ! Finally found my shoes 😊 Clouds believe me it’s worth it I’m in my fifth pair Sadly they never send voucher
Glad you found a solution for long days on your feet! Footwear can really make a difference Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your experience!
I started with a painful plantar fasciitis about 3 weeks ago and have spent a lot of time in airports, and walking more than I’m used to. After 1 week in cloud5’s I can feel some healing. I’ve got cloudX’s waiting at home. Very impressed.
These are my favorite sneakers and I've been wearing them for about 4 years. My feet are a bit wide but I can get the ON Clouds in a size 11 and they always fit perfectly. I use them to workout and they are also very stylish.
Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your experience! I really like the Cloud Runners, Monsters, and Stratus. I think ON realty shines when the shoe sole is thicker.
Im a veterinarian I wear the Nike Pegasus 39 every day on the clinic, also I’m a traveller city explorer, so I walk a loooot. I tried to use VEJA vibram sole to change the pegasus big mistake, then I found the ON tried one in the store and fet amazing. I’m wating for my cloud monsters, I bought them at 95 dollars in a sale on the on website, color is ugly af but they are comfy
I’ve tried almost everything. From Nikes, Adidas, Hoka, ASICs, ON and New Balance, hands down New Balance win it all. New Balance Fresh Foam is the best. Bought the whole fam the same Fresh Foam and we went to Disney and Universal for 3 straight days and our feet didn’t hurt a bit! Believe me, New Balance is Not a Hype, it’s the Real Deal!!!
Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing! I’m probably a bit of a sneaker head so I’ve also tried pretty much every brand too. And I think ON is the most comfortable for me so far. I think having an ON shoe with a thicker sole such as the Cloud Runners, Surfers, or Monsters makes a difference in cushion and that where ON shines. I’ve had good experiences with New Balance but I haven’t yet tried the Freah Foams. Absolutely going to get a pair. Thanks for the recommendation 👍🏾
@@fitnessnbeer9835 I actually liked Hoka at first because of the Front Push Cushioning Technology of it...But I find it very unstable and unsecured because the balance sometimes put you off..It's good for Runner/Joggers/Triathloners because of the Front Push of it... That's why I find New Balance Frest Foam 4 or X with the thicker Sole more robust, stable and secured because the Sole is Flatter and Wider, which makes it more balanced. I think the ON hype is just like the Adidas Ultra Boost hype where at first time that it came out everybody's swearing it's the most comfortable shoes there is in the market till it came out with version 2.0 and so on and so forth. I hope ON will continue to evolve and develop more classic looking sneakers so that it would appeal to some purist sneakerheads like me... That's why the Adidas 4D didn't fly out as expected and it didn't appeal to most of the consumers because of the Sole Design and Structure..... BTW, I'm a sneakerhead and collector as well that's why I'm always critical when it comes to comfort of the shoes...I always put comfort first before looks.. Love your channel because it gives us prospective and different views of new and upcoming shoes in the market.. all the best to you!!!
I am new to trail running and I couldn’t agree more, hands down to New Balance. I have the Hierro 7. I tried On, Saucony, Hoka, Adidas, Nike. New Balance for the win for me.
Great editing! Very captivating video and a great review! I’ve been buying cloud 5’s for about 5 years now, when they were available online only, through word of mouth. I’m looking to buy some cloud monsters now, which is how I found your video. Keep up the great videos man!
Big thanks for this comment!! Much appreciated. Def try the Cloud Monsters, I think they have a unique and very cushioned feel. But also check out a pair of Cloud Runners or Surfers. I especially love the Cloud Runners because I feel they are a nice middle ground between the thinner shoe sole of Cloud 5’s and the “max cushion” of the Cloud Monsters.
12 Hours in a Level 1 Trauma Hospital. Yeah I'd say My Cloudsurfers do the job. Wore HOKAS for 2 years. When I suddenly saw the Re Designed Cloudsurfers. With that said, I had to give them a try. Love them so much I bought another one .. just in case i get blood on my 1st ones. To me they're worth it. But that's just me and me alone. Factor in your build and fitness level as well.
Thanks a bunch for checking out the video and sharing! Agreed that everyone is going to be different in their comfort preferences. Although I also think there would to be some consistency between brands if we could truly run a “blind comfort test.” I think On shines when the soles are a little bit thicker like the Cloud Surfer, Cloud Runners, and especially with the Cloud Monster. I think the cushioning is pretty good.
Just thinking about all the people who bought On Clouds raving about how great they are. Well, these people paid top dollar for them, so what are they gonna say? They're not comfortable, and I wasted my hard-earned money? I don't think so. Later: I made the above comment before seeing the whole vid. You talked about "consumer bias" near the end, and that's exactly what I was trying to say. Thank you for the vid, sir; I'm in the market for new walking shoes, so this was a help.
Honestly worth the money, that’s debatable 🤷🏾♂️. But genuinely comfortable with nice cushion, I’d say def worth giving a try. And agreed, it was important to address consumer bias. Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your thought!
I just went back to work after being out with an injury for the last year. I work for Pepsi and I’m on my feet for a good 11 hours a day walking around on concrete grocery store floors. My buddy suggested these shoes so I think I’m gonna give them a try after watching this video. Hopefully they make the wide varieties because I have wide feet.
I have a pair of On Cloudmonster and it is the best decision I have ever made. I have run up to 15km in them and it feels like I am wearing nothing. I totally recommend them. I weigh 200lbs and I'm 5'7".
I love my Cloudmonster and they’re still the most cushioned shoes I own. They’re very soft but in a good way. I could see it possibly being too much for some people but I think they’re very comfortable for long days. Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your experience!
I was looking for a good quality walking shoes. So I googled it and On Cloud came up. I bought 2 pairs of OnCloud 5s. And I can say I love them! I was a nike girl for a long time. This review, is helpful. I think I will be buying another pair or two. 😂
Huge thank for checking out the video and sharing your experience l! Ya know the Cloud 5’s aren’t my faves. They’re not bad at all, but I think ON really shines when the shoe sole is a little thick like with the Cloud Surfers. Try em out if you haven’t already, they’re more cushioned. I know you might still prefer the 5’s but def worth trying.
I just learned about the brand of shoes.. I work for FedEx warehouse and constantly walking between 10,000 to 15,000 steps (8-12 miles) and lately feet 👣 been hurting allot.. I’ve tried different shoes and getting frustrating might have to try them
Yes I think with that many steps daily it would be helpful to have a comfortable shoe! If you’re looking into ON Cloud series I would suggest trying the Cloud Runners, Cloud Swift, or Cloud Monsters. I personally noticed a bigger difference with a slightly thicker sole. You don’t have to go as thick as the Cloudmonsters but when I tried the Cloud 5’s and Cloud X3’s they didn’t feel as cushioned. Hope this helps and thanks for checking out the video!
i love them i have already 6 pairs now, I'm from Guatemala, a lot come here as outlet shoes, for around 100-130 USD, and we have stores in malls that retail starting +$150.
I similarly have accumulated a few pair. I have 4. I have 2 pair of Cloud Runners, 1 pair of Cloud Monsters, and 1 pair of Cloud Swift. I really like the Cloud Runners and Monsters. The Cloud Swift are just okay. They are priced about the same in the States. Big thanks for checking out the video and commenting!
great video! as an avid exerciser I love them based on the difference of the look and the light glove like feeling. No consumer bias here . I bought my Dad a pair from Nordstrom's for being the best Dad❣😁 (before I purchased for myself to see what he thought as he averages 15,000 steps per day. He loved them.. he talks about them every time he see's me which is weekly lol.
I think I may agree with you and your dad! It’s the cushioning in the sole that makes it better. I’ve had a chance to compare them to my other shoes and the On Clouds are def more comfortable. Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing!
@@fitnessnbeer9835 nice I’m glad you agree. The cushion is really incredible. I also like the thin construction encasing the foot. 😊 you’re awesomeness! Thanks for the feedback.💙💙💙
I served in the Army for 231/2 years, and had to run five days a week. My impression after wearing On Cloud monsters for a while now, is they are the most cushioned shoe for my feet. most soldiers end up with flat feet after wearing boots everyday and putting extremely high mileage on them also, I have used all kinds of running shoes, nike is terrible, UnderArmor is not even worthy of wear. I have always worn NewBalance for the best fit and Arch support for me. But after wearing On Cloud, I can say that these have changed my mind about a workout or running show. I still wear NewBalance, but On Cloud lives in my closet now.
Huge thanks for this comment and for sharing your experience! Most importantly thank you for your service! I really enjoy my ON clouds and they’re been comfortable with me putting lots of miles on them. Fortunately, Ive found quality comfort from several different brands and styles of shoes, and for that I’m thankful. Because I do believe for many finding the correct fit is more nuanced and more limited. So glad you found options that work well for you. And I really need to try New Balance again🤔
I bought a pair, knowing nothing about these shoes, my tennis shoes are usually bought from Payless. I have been wearing my on cloud shoes for 8 months. I wear them for work. I am on my feet for over 5 hours in an eight hour day, 5 days a week… I do a lot of walking and standing outside…on the grass, on the concrete. I am not a sneaker connoisseur by any means. I never cared about tennis shoe brands. In 2014 I fractured my left foot and in 2021 when we had the bad ice storm in the east coast I fractured my ankle. I honestly was not expecting much from these shoes. I will for the remaining of my life purchase this shoes!!!! Unless something better comes out. The moment I put them on I fell in love with them. IN LOVE!,😍 I never knew the right pair of tennis shoes could make such a difference. I will always purchase these shoes. I am saving up now for another pair. My goal is to own at least 3 or 4 pair. I paid $150.00 in 2023. Worth every penny. I found them to by cheaper online, by $10 bucks. Doesn’t matter. I need comfy shoes, and these are THE SHOES!! Thank you for your time. 03/26/2024.
I’m so glad to hear that you’re having success with your shoes. Several people have mentioned how good shoes have helped them with ailment or injuries. I definitely think it help to have quality shoe to manage long days on your feet. Huge thanks for checking out the video and sharing your experience!
Love my ONs! On my 3rd pair, one pair has 600 miles on them, the rear heel is about gone, but I still wear them to store every once in while, other pair has 200 miles And my 3rd pair has 220 miles as today! Loveove love them!!!
I enjoy my ONs too! Like you, I’ve accumulated a few pair. 🤣 I’ve also gotten lots of mileage out of my Cloud Runners and they’ve held up pretty well. However recently I got a new pair of Cloud Runners and boy can I feel the difference between the new and used ones! I still thought my older pair was comfy without realizing how beaten down they were. The new pair feels so much better. Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your experience!
In preparation for a trip to Japan, my girl showed me some Hokas and On shoes, and the aesthetics of the Ons had me intrigued. Since I've gotten my first pair I've been absolutely hooked and my friends now jokingly call me a salesman for them. In the past I've mainly worn Nikes for athletics and either Vans or Converse in daily wear, but now I've pretty much switched to On for both. Between the look and the comfort, they pretty much fit the exact niche I've been looking for. The only thing I can say is that they tend to be way too expensive, which has limited their exposure. And if I bought the much more expensive ones like the Cloudboom Strikes I wouldn't feel comfortable beating the shit out of them for what they're made for, because I'd be trying to keep them from getting degraded.
Man I understand exactly where you’re coming from. I was also a Nike guy until I had a similar experience when I discovered ON. I have several pairs of ONs too but since I like to review and compare, I’ve learned there’s lots of great shoes out there. Also agree with you on price and not wanting to beat up expensive shoes, been there 🤣. Huge thanks for this comment and for checking out the video!
Thank so much for this comment. I don’t think ON is the only option for comfort but definitely worth giving a try. I generally like the styles that have thicker shoe soles.
I bought a bootleg pair of Yeezy shoes off DHgate for $45 and wore them to Disney world for 3 days. Walked 20+ miles a day. My feet felt perfect, legs were great in the morning. I am considering buying some of these now though. I gotta say it’s going to be tough to beat ultra boost soles for me.
That’s great. I think quality shoes make a huge difference for long day on your feet and Disney is definitely a great test. And as your experience proves I also think quality isn’t defined by price but functionality. But it’s crazy that knock offs served you that well. Big thank for checking out the video and sharing your experience!
Was going to try and get some On Clouds many months back but have been hearing complaints about their foams bottoming out quickly and durability issues with their uppers, so went instead and got me Hokas. Do think nowadays especially after On released the Cloud Monster 2 they're getting better and have been seeing a lot of them lately. Still have to pick up and try a pair. Cloud Surfer might be the one I'd pick.
I’ve heard lots about ON having durability issues but that hasn’t been my experience. I’ve had several pair which I’ve pounded and I don’t think that ON is any more or less durable than any other brand. Still I think Hoka is a great choice too. Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing!
Yes it’s def a good test of shoe comfort with both lots of steps and time spent standing!👍🏾🤣. We had a great time and comfy shoes helped. Thanks for checking out the video and sharing. Have a great Disney visit!
That’s funny, I too have 4 pairs including the Cloudmonsters. I like the styles where the shoe soles are a little thicker. I have a pair of CloudSwift and they’re just okay. And I also prefer to use my Hokas for runs and working out. Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your thoughts!
Just bought my first ON pair today, the bran new cloudrunner 2, and damn I was surprised they are one of the most comfortable shoes I have wear and actually look casual like something I can wear everyday to all occasions. I usually were ultraboost light, but sometimes to sporty looking and after long hours hurt slight on the toes
The Cloudrunner are some of my favorite shoes from any brand. They’re a great blend of cushion and practicality. I also like ON when the shoes sole is a little thicker which is the case with the Cloudrunners. Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your experience!
@@fitnessnbeer9835 Definitely, just hurt I couldn't find any good deals on them, but well since they just came out not many deals available here. But well it's a health investment since I spend some good time walking and standing.
Hi ! Greetings from Argentina. I got two pairs. The second is brand New. The first one got two years or 3. I got only an issue. When the time comes the Kind of suffer a massive unglue. Like if the glue got a limted life. But as i said i got a second one so.. worth the price. I love them. Their cushion and their super ligth desing. I read somewhere that they are inspired in how the camel foot works. May be im wrong. Great video!
Greetings from Atlanta, Georgia in the USA! Wow bum deal with the unglue.😕 I haven’t heard many stories of On Cloud shoes not being durable. Most people seem to get lots of time and miles with them. Luckily mine personally have held up well. Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your experience!
Huge thanks for checking out the video and sharing your experience! Several have expressed a similar sentiment and I get it. I like Hoka for being active and I also use ON mostly for lifestyle. But if I have to take them for a run it’s okay. Haven’t tried the Vomero but currently testing out the Nike Invincibles and they’re great for running and long walks.
I like ON’s when they have thicker shoe soles like the Cloudmonster or Cloud Stratus. I haven’t owned Saucony(tried but not purchased,) in a while but I do like Brooks. Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your thoughts!
I like these shoes on my 5th pair. Use for work. Other popular brands i used. Feet would hurt halfway through my shift. On cloud feet comfort all day. I work valet at a big hotel property. Only down side is the shoe lace. Really thin i usually switch it out.
Yes I’ve had good success too with long days in ON shoes. I definitely think the styles that have a thicker shoe sole are more cushioned. Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your experience!
Great review, just bought some On Cloud 5 so wanted some confirmation bias. I actually bought them when they first came out, and I am returning to the brand. They are light, well made and a good fit. The speedlaces are not ideal as they require some serious adjustments. The cloudtec sole still gets rocks stuck in it, still doesn’t work well in slippery conditions and still could use improved forefoot cushion. They have improved in comfort since the original design though.
Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your experience. I’m not the biggest fan of the Cloud 5’s or the Cloud X3’s, I think they’re fine. But I think ON shines when the shoe sole is a little thicker like with the Cloud Surfers, Cloud Stratus, or even Cloudmonster. Give a pair of Cloud surfers a try and lemme know what you think?
The cushioning is great for people with joint problems. BUT the material got MUCH worse over the years. Our first pairs (we lived at the boarder of Switzerland) when the company started lasted 5 years+. In fact, I still use one pair for running and it looks pretty much like it did around 10 years ago, when I bought it. My last pair (Cloud 5) lasted about 1 year. And I mean they are now destroyed on the soles, the outer material has severe folds, inside the material peeled off. Materials must have gotten worse and worse. Save on material, make more marketing, earn more money! Make no mistake, I still buy the occasional pair. But still a sad story.
As someone who’s been running in ons since 2016, I’ve yet to find a shoe from them for all day wear. However as far as running, no brand is better. From the on cloud to the X the surfer and swift you can run and feel no fatigue after. I will say however their lifespan is fairly short. 2-300 miles and rubber on each pod in the sole is gone. So for first timers I wouldn’t expect a whole lot of praise after paying 150 for a pair of shoes that get you through the summer. (Midwest workout plan) but if you can pick up a pair on sale it’s totally worth it to fully invest in a second pair.
Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your thoughts! I’ve accumulated a few pair of ON also, I have 2 pair of Cloud Runners, a pair of Monsters, and a pair of Swifts. I think ON really shines in the models with thicker shoe soles. I did notice that my older pair of Cloud Runners feels significantly different than my newer pair however I really did pound my first pair with lots of miles. In my experience the shoe sole gets kinda compressed and matted. But I didn’t think they deteriorated any faster than most shoe brands.
Big thanks for checking out the video and commenting. And agreed, ON Cloud is currently my favorite brand of shoes, although I still like lots of other brands.
I bought my cloudfly back in 2020 and still have them, the idea was to use them for running on distances under 10k but really the support is not as good, the shoes are very durable and comfortable but for running I got a couple of Hoka shoes they are way better. Based on high ticket price and now getting trendy I don’t feel it worths, my two cents.
Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your experience! I like both ON and Hoka. I actually like my ON Cloud shoes better by a small margin. But I really like each for different reasons. I think ON is more comfortable when the shoe has a thicker sole like with the Cloud Runners and Monsters. But admittedly I’m going much shorter distances.
For me, this shoe represents a case of function vs convenience. I’m on my second pair and love them, except for a couple of inconveniences. I have a gravel driveway and these shoes constantly get gravel stuck in the treads, just from walking to and from the car. Sometimes you won’t even notice anything stuck there, which risks damage to the shoe, car interior, wooden floors, etc. The only other inconvenience for me is the tread style makes it a bit more difficult to clean. You’re not going to get away simply using a shoe wipe on the tread. So would I recommend them to someone planning to use them indoors or on pavement? Yes! Would I recommend them to someone wanting to trail run or who plans to wear them as an everyday all purpose shoe? Not so much.
Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing! You’re absolutely right, they’re a pain to clean!🤣. And the gravel thing is annoying too. But I do think they make a great everyday and all purpose shoe depending on which model of course. But definitely respect that everyone is different and we may use our shoes differently too.
I tried on a pair in the store that looked cool. Like rocks underfoot. Then tried the cloudsurfer which were considerably softer than my asics kayano 28 which is already a pretty cushioned shoe. So you might want to mention which model you have; look like cloud monsters.
I have both the Cloudrunners and the Cloudmonsters which are both well cushioned in my opinion. But I also have a pair of Cloud Swift which aren’t as soft. So yes I can relate and the amount of cushion definitely varies with model. Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your experience!
I also really like my On Cloud shoes although I do think the comfort varies depending on which model. Big thanks for checking out the video and commenting!
Having owned a pair of ON Cloudsurfer and Hoka Clifton I'd say nothing beats my New Balance 1080 v13s for walking with heel spurs and plantar fasciitis.
The New Balance fresh foams are definitely on my list to try!! I like both the Clifton’s and the Cloud Surfers but definitely understand that everyone is different and what works well depends on the individual. Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your experience!
Wandered around a lot of Asian Cities like Hong Kong and Tokyo, where i avg about 30k steps a day and I would consider ON Cloud 5 as an excellent walking shoe after taking it for a spin. My favorite walking shoes until On Cloud 5 came along would probably be the old school Adidas Ultraboost now known as DNA 1.0(killed 4 pairs thru all that walking but they were tried and true for my walking comfort). Grabbed a pair of On Cloud 5 cuz a local store had them on clearance for cheap and wanted to try something different. It got up there near the same comfort as the Ultraboost, but what finally tipped it over to be better then the Ultraboost for walking was replacing the insole with Timberland Pro anti fatigue insole(what i use in my workboots at home) then it went from light n not bad to friking great. Btw, i do not recommend the Cloud X3 as a walking shoe over the Cloud 5, x3 got more runner oriented features, while the cloud 5 got a more daily easy wear features (ie. the lacing system)
Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your story. 30k steps is a massive amount of steps and would def require comfortable shoes. When it comes to ON I’m a fan of the Cloud Runners, Surfers, and Monsters. I think ON’s are their best when the shoe sole is a little thicker.
I was in Vienna recently and noticed a lot of people wearing ON shoes. I've not tried a pair on yet but I'm not convinced they'd be better than my New Balance More V4 or Nike Infinity shoes
The New Balance Fresh Foams and Nike Invincibles are great shoes. But yes I think ON Cloud can compete with both. The On Cloud Surfers or Monsters are both well cushioned. With ON I like the models with thicker shoe soles better.
I looked up the Reebok zig tech and it’s definitely a similar design. There even looks to still be a few on sale and they’re definitely cheaper than ON. 😂🤔 I’ve never heard that comfortable shoes make for weaker feet? How do comfortable shoes weaken your feet? I thought it was the opposite. Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing!
Thanks so much for your comment, much appreciated. And yes I think the average guys perspective is needed. We want to know what the various shoes are like on an everyday basis.
Try the New clouduitra 2 for a tad bit better grip..I wear stratus 2 now...similar to Monster cushion..the ultra 2 has a lower foot plate so you don't catch rocks like the stratus and monster
Big thanks for checking out the video! I’ll have to check out the Stratus. They’ve been mentioned a couple of times as comfortable. I really liked my Cloud Runners, the cushion was great! The runners are cushioned but not too much.
I think ON’s are pretty great and they’re my fave, especially the styles with thicker shoe soles like the Cloud Surfer and Cloudmonster. However I’ve learned about so many great options including New Balance Fresh Foams and Nike Invincibles which may give ON a “run for the money.” Huge thanks for checking out the video and sharing your thoughts!
Preciate the review. Been researching ON Holdings as a potential stock in my portfolio once they IPO. Looking to replace Nike as it’s been underperforming. Lot of mixed reviews on them so interesting to check out vid reviews here. They also seem to run a bit narrow and I dig a little wider toe box so haven’t tried them myself yet. Good growth for the company though. ON and Deckers(Hoka) have a lot of solid momentum in the kicks industry these days. Always good to go to consumers to get the full scoop.
Big thanks for checking it out and commenting. I know ON does offer sizes that are ‘wide” that might work. I haven’t run into lots of (but have seen a few) bad reviews, most of the feedback I’ve seen has been good. And yes both brands are blowing up and it wouldn’t surprise me if they become good investments.
I will never buy another Nike shoe EVER! and I grew up nike everything. I had a pair of LeBrons come apart at the gym. A week later, I purchased Nike running shoes. While walking on the treadmill, the entire sole came apart. I had a vintage collectible sitti g in my closet. i decided to wear them to work, and my coworker asked why the foam on your shoes falling apart.NEVER AGAIN CHEAPLY MADE. I'm better off buying off brand at Walmart. They will probably last longer
Enjoyed your review. What do you recommend for just everyday use with walking and standing long periods at a time throughout the day? I noticed you had a pair of the Cloudmonsters and was hoping you would've done a video review on those.
Big thanks for checking out the video and asking! I really enjoy the Cloud Monsters. They’re very well cushioned and lightweight. They’re my faves for a long day on my feet. However I could almost see them being too cushioned for some. I also really like my Hoka Bondi they’re great too. I think both models are overpriced but I can’t deny they each have a unique feel that’s noticeably comfortable.
Yes I really enjoy walking around in the Cloud Monsters too. They are very cushioned, maybe even too cushioned for some. Great shoe for lots of time on your feet. Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing!
I love my Cloud Monsters. They’re 1 of my 2 favorite models of ON shoes. And I’ve heard of several instances where having a good pair of shoes has helped with an injury or ailment. Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your experience. Keep those miles safe👍🏾
I just ordered Cloud Flyers and will see. I have worn Mizuno WaveRider for over 10 years and they are as expensive as ON but do not last. They flatten out really quick even for me and I walk daily but cant run now. I got last season version of the Flyers so was under $100 with free shipping. I am wondering how long the cushion lasts - that will be the deal sealer for me
I haven’t tried the Flyers yet. I like the styles from ON when the shoe sole is a little thicker. I will say that I’ve noticed my ON’s go flat also. It didn’t happen abnormally fast but it did happen. I guess shoe get worn and the best we can hope for is getting lots of miles on our shoes before they go flat.🤷🏾♂️
ok reality check. my personal reason why I got them. 1.they are nice looking shoes (. Swiss are good designers) like a Volvo. 2) they are comfortable. 3) price is ok. now the bad: 1) no they are not made for every runner. 2) everyone whom ive seen on the treadmill on them looks worn out so durability and longevity is my question 3) I think its part of a hype. but overall if you dont have one, go out and have a pair you will like it as well too. runners nike, asics, Adidas, Muzino, sacony and all other established running brands are still king(s)
Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your thoughts! Agreed I think the Swiss are good designers and the ON running shoes are cooly designed. I’m a pretty big sneaker guy and have tested out lots of sneakers and ONs seem to be just as durable as any other shoe. For me the sole of the shoe usually gets kinda compressed and matted resulting in not as much comfort. I pounded my ON shoes pretty good before they began feeling matted and looking beat up. I think ON and Hoka can compete with the big boys when it comes to comfort but obviously that depends on model and personal preference 👍🏾
I bought some cloudnovas yesterday, and I think while the design is cool it isn't the model for me (too much arch for my relatively flat foot). I may go back and trade them in for a different model.
I haven’t tried the Cloud Nova model but it does look like they have a significant rocker in the shoe sole. The experience can definitely vary from model to model. Hope you find a style that works well! Thanks for checking out the video and sharing your experience. Btw - I bought a pair of Hoka Arahi without knowing they were a “stability” model, which are intended for over-pronation or flat feet. I don’t have flat feet but I still find them comfy and nice to walk in. Thanks again!
Great review. I've never accepted the idea of wearing running shoes for the everyday activities. I started noticing the specific details of running shoes as I fell in love with the sport over the years. I saw the hype around these shoes in my country starting around 2 years ago. Personally, I believe this wave of ON shoes everywhere (even worn by people who don't do sports) has to do with consumerism and not the shoes themself. Are ON shoes worth buying for the solo purpose of running?
I 100% agree with you, I believe ON’s popularity is based on trendiness more so than actual quality. However I do believe the brand does provide something unique in terms of comfort and that does translate to running. So yes I believe they can be great running shoes depending on the style and the runner’s preferences. I like it when the ON style has a thicker shoe sole and more cushioning. Big thanks for checking out the video and commenting!
Meh, depends on the lifestyle/locale. My Cloud X3's from On are great for commuting back in forth in Boston. They lasted nearly 1100 miles worth of commuting, gym, and work. That absolutely decimated the comparative life that I got out of my Brooks & Hoka's
I'm on my feet for 12 hours a day working. I bought a pair of Asics nimbus 25. So far I love them. I'm afraid they won't last long though. So I'm wondering how long does the on cloud shoes last working 12 hour shifts , with almost 20,000 steps per day ?
I was pretty big fan of the ASIC Kayano but never tried the Nimbus so I can’t compare 🤷🏾♂️. The Nimbus definitely has a uniquely shaped shoe sole and looks to have a max comfort style. I’ll def have to try a pair. But I do think On Cloud offers comfortable well cushioned options for long days on your feet. I think they’re more noticeably comfortable when the shoe sole is a little thicker like with the Cloud Runners, Surfers, or Monsters. Thanks for checking out the video and leaving a comment!
Huge thanks for this comment and for checking out the video. Unfortunately the Cloud Nova is one of the few models I haven’t tried. (I’ve tried to at least try on every model of ON). With the models I have they’re fine, no better or worse than most sneakers on slippery surfaces, but def not the best. Huge thanks for checking out the video and asking!
I bouth a Clipse Cloud pair, and unfortunately I'm totally disappointed. I feel paint using this for a walk, I have used it just 1 days and I feel really bad after expending 200 dollars. I don't know whats the issue, the only that I can think of is that these said to be for running, but it doesn't makes sense for me. However I can't return because they say it should be new, and obviously after 1 walk the shoe sole is not new. Just make sure you are comfortable before spending this amount!
Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your experience. Recently gotta pair of Brooks, I’m excited to try em out. I’ve really enjoyed both my Cloud Runners and Monsters.
Same, went to Disney wearing OC that my sister got for my birthday and wasn’t tired after 4 days walking in parks lol
How they holding up?
@@raed7769 perfectly fine
My father always told me that the two things you should spend your money on are your boots and your bed, as you are in them the most…😉👍🏾🇬🇧
This Shoes is the WORST
hello "influencer" Just stop misleading people with your lies to get few dollars from this company. STOP SPREADING LIES
oncloud is the worst shoes I have every wore or bought in my life
they started to be squeaky after 2 months
what a shame, now they will be thrown as it is so embarrassing to wear them
I emailed their customer services, they told me the floor is causing it. well, no they squeak on every floor
this is the worst shoes I have ever bought in my life
I bought it in the UK and cost me 160£
for this price I could have bought two from my favourite comfy brand clark or ecco
never again, I will never buy from this company again. wat a shame, expensive shoes for rubbish quality.
my feet are hurting me, now I have an expensive shoes in the garbage bin with no use. it caused me feet pain, bruises and more!
it does not provide support, and it makes your feet boiling. this shoes does not allow your feet to breath and it become smelly after few days of wearing it.
never again I am so disappointed.
I wish I had read the comments, I am hopeful my review will make you think twice before wasting your money.
And your woman 😏
@@sauce1302 Nah. Equal rights, an all that…lol
Which pair did you buy? I have pf too.
@@billmcculley9502this is the same reason I’m looking for new sneakers.
it's been two months since I bought my On Cloudflyer 4 and it's been great.
Dude you edit your videos like a Pro. Got a new follower here 👏🏽
Man thanks for your comment and for checking out the video! It means a lot. I definitely try to make the videos fun and helpful at the same time.
Love when I find channels like this before they blow up. Thanks
Big thanks for your comment! Made my day man👍🏾
I hope you’re right about blowing up but even more importantly I hope to just make good videos that are helpful.
That’s an excellent test to quality of a shoe. I also hope it was an awesome trip!!
Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your experience.
What model/style did you wear? I plan to use my Vista.
Do u feel like they bottom out? That’s what I hated about my ultraboost
240? Did you get the biggest cushion? I worked in that ER and I came home almost dead and had to out pillows under my feet 🦶!!
I was in the hospital the other day and saw a doctor wearing it, I asked and he said it really popular there lol what if I went to your hospital 💀🤧
To me, they feel 100% like Reebok zigtek. Shame those didn't catch on they were so comfortable. Soft yet supportive.
Great review and breakdown! Been debating getting a pair and now definitely want to try them out!
And you never tried.... Crocs.
@@curlyhairdudeify they aren’t comfortable to me. Rather west a pair of slides.
Nice video!

This is a VERY comprehensive and realistic review!
Thanks for checking out the video and commenting! I hope it was helpful.
I always been a true nike fan , but once I started on cloud fell in love with them . Love the style and comfort. I have 3 pairs
I’m historically a Nike fan too but since I’ve gotten into comfort shoes I don’t really buy Nike anymore🤷🏾♂️. But I still like the way Nikes look.
Thanks for checking out the video and sharing!
May I ask which ON pairs you have and for what occasion they seem best suited?
@@halfmoon8285 I have 3 pair. I have the Cloud Runners, Cloud Swift, and Cloud Monsters. I like the Cloud Runners and Monsters a lot. I think they’re great for walking and general everyday use. I think ON Cloud really shines in models with thicker soles. My Cloud Swift feel like any other shoe.
Hope this helps!
What pair u have
I appreciate your critical review and showing how you build your opinion.
Wow thank you, its the best video review I've ever seen, you totally answered all my questions and grab my attention. Great work
Thank you for this really kind comment. I’m glad you enjoyed the video.

Tried many brands because my feet suffered from standing up all day Nike air Puma Reebok Asics still suffering
Tried On cloud 5 and Voilà !
Finally found my shoes 😊
Clouds believe me it’s worth it

I started with a painful plantar fasciitis about 3 weeks ago and have spent a lot of time in airports, and walking more than I’m used to. After 1 week in cloud5’s I can feel some healing. I’ve got cloudX’s waiting at home. Very impressed.
I just started getting plantars, which shoe has helped you the most?

@fitnessnbeer9835 what cloud shoe do you recommend for running? I do run almost everyday and minimum of 4 miles most times
Although I also think there would to be some consistency between brands if we could truly run a “blind comfort test.”
I think On shines when the soles are a little bit thicker like the Cloud Surfer, Cloud Runners, and especially with the Cloud Monster. I think the cushioning is pretty good.
Do yours squeak like some reviewers are stating?

I just went back to work after being out with an injury for the last year. I work for Pepsi and I’m on my feet for a good 11 hours a day walking around on concrete grocery store floors.

I’ve also gotten lots of mileage out of my Cloud Runners and they’ve held up pretty well. However recently I got a new pair of Cloud Runners and boy can I feel the difference between the new and used ones!
Also agree with you on price and not wanting to beat up expensive shoes, been there 🤣.

this was an amazing review and helped inform my purchase!

I usually get the cloud Nova. I found a good deall on the monster at Nordstrom rack. $105.
@@fitnessnbeer9835 thanks for the reply. I am in the market for some new shoes to kickstart my running again. I'll check them out and let you know.
It looks good on you and very nice video. Well explained. On cloud let’s go!
Big fan and user here myself.
Big thanks for checking out the video and commenting. And agreed, ON Cloud is currently my favorite brand of shoes, although I still like lots of other brands.

Thanks so much for this comment and for checking out the video. I really try to give honest average guy reviews.
@@fitnessnbeer9835 lol yeah true enough. Best of luck with the channel!
Great review man! Good video, highly recommend. 👏🏼👏🏼
Thanks so much for your comment, and for checking out the video!
On clouds shoes are amazing!!! Better running performance and walking all day
I also really like my On Cloud shoes although I do think the comfort varies depending on which model.
Same tech in the Reebok Zigtech from 15 years ago. Comfort results in weaker feet; I am a runner and use them for rest day.
I looked up the Reebok zig tech and it’s definitely a similar design. There even looks to still be a few on sale and they’re definitely cheaper than ON. 😂🤔
I’ve never heard that comfortable shoes make for weaker feet? How do comfortable shoes weaken your feet? I thought it was the opposite. Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing!
Great video and getting the average Joe perspective as well. I love my OC 5's
It's all I put on my feet. I work on concrete in warehouse that's also outside and I walk a minimum of 6 miles a day. Own 5 pair now.
I think ON’s are pretty great and they’re my fave, especially the styles with thicker shoe soles like the Cloud Surfer and Cloudmonster. However I’ve learned about so many great options including New Balance Fresh Foams and Nike Invincibles which may give ON a “run for the money.”
Huge thanks for checking out the video and sharing your thoughts!
I’m curious which ons would be good for flat feet standing long hr ? Thank you
For flat feet you need hard shoe insoles with gel, and silicon.
Soft shoes WILL cause knee pain due to your legs bowing in.
Very useful and thorough review!
Big thanks for checking out the video and taking time to comment. I do hope it was helpful.
Great video, like and sub, you deserve more! Really nice editing btw 🔥💯
Thank you for this comment! It made my day👍🏾 And thanks for checking out the video.
I def try to make videos that are helpful and okay to look at.
Thank you so much for explaining in details and honesty. Please keep you great work. -Thanks
Thanks so much for this comment and for checking out the video. I really try to give useful opinions and information.
I got them for my trip to Europe and they were great! The best! I got the monster ones (the ones that have bigger wholes)
Yes I really enjoy walking around in the Cloud Monsters too. They are very cushioned, maybe even too cushioned for some. Great shoe for lots of time on your feet.
Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing!
I was having IT band issues when I was running more than 10 miles. I got thw cloudmonsters, and immediately the issue was gone.
They are comfy but i went to barefoot shoes and world of a difference, Hykes Flex are my new favorite shoe. I will never go back to regular shoes.
Have you ever tried or heard anything abt the Cloudnova or Cloudnova Form? And how are they on slippery surfaces? Btw nice review!
ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT. YES.
@@suzanaskinner5156 Agreed but they’re even more worth it when you can find them on sale sub-$100 🤣
Thanks for checking out the video and commenting!
Excellent review! Very informative.
Thanks for checking it out and commenting. Hope it was helpful.
Great video, thanks!!
Big thanks for your comment and for checking out the video!!
Nice review Larry, first time hearing of the brand:)

I have 2 pairs ,, but , honestly my brooks are really comfortable …
Big thanks for checking out the video and sharing your experience. Recently gotta pair of Brooks, I’m excited to try em out. I’ve really enjoyed both my Cloud Runners and Monsters.
