The last few seconds shows the waste water tank leaved opened for drying. This prevents any smell/bacteria to form. The tank handle is very useful for keeping the lid open.
I got a S6 MaxV for 1 1/2 years now and this was a bit of an issue with my unit as well. I solved it by putting chlorinated water in it: I bought a bottle which has USB and you put a teaspoon of table salt and water in it, and it will chlorinate the water slightly in 10 minutes. It's the same method modern a modern spa use - so it's safe. Just make sure that the hydrogen and oxygen mix which is forming can vent well (I put it below the kitchen exhaust hood to avoid any issues). There's a tiny smell of chlorine when it's working, but readily gone when it's finished, and the cleaning ability of stains is MUCH improved. :)
@@xeon2k8 the issue isn't a waste water tank, but the mop itself if you're not at home for a couple of days and it just sits there for a long time instead of beeing changed on the same day.
@@RubenKelevra well with anything that's not an autowashing robot you should soap and rinse the mop for the next mopping session so i hope you are not running it several times when you are out, else you are just spreading the dirt all over the house. Also why would you run the mop when there's nobody for several days? if the floor is not getting dirty since nobody is at home anyway.

Hi Roger. If you have rugs and you want to do a single pass clean, the black. Otherwise, i suggest you to watch all reviews carefully and then decide. Both are OK.
good evening can i ask a question I bought the roborock s7 maxv... is it true that anyone does it anyway, do I want the roborock s7 maxv plus or the s7 maxv plus ultra?
No, for a matter of money. I think to keep the S7 , although the X1 white looks fantastic and the voice assistant is very handy. The S7 can do carpet and floor cleaning in one single pass, while for the X1, i need to remove the mops to clean the carpets. About cleaning performances, with the "modified" plates, the X1 cleans as good as the S7 (and maybe a little better).
@@maxsupergiovane how about vacuum performance in hard floor and carpet? Can you share your unbiased opinion as well? I hear that X1 is better at carpet cleaning!
@@sweetphuong1114 Hi Sweet. Both robots performs well in a daylife cleaning. The X1 has more suction power and, on carpets/rugs, it performs slightly better but both are OK. The S7 has some issues with high rugs, specially with the mopping plate mounted. It lifts the mopping plate, but it's not enough, it often gets tangled and needs manual intervention. You can totally avoid such issues by setting the no-go zones for high carpet, in mopping mode. The major issues with both robots, at least with the current firmware as per today, is the kitchen cleaning if you have reflective/alluminium borders below the kitchen furnitures. Both robots doesnt' clean the corners, trying to avoid non existant obstalces (maybe due to reflections picked up by the camera). The worster between the two robots is the X1. It starts circling around, consuming time and battery. Disabling the AI Camera solves this particular issue. I hope both companies will fix that with a firmware upgrade. If you don't have reflective borders below furnitures, you should be OK.
@@maxsupergiovane For reflective area, most manufacturers have informed in advance that may cause issue for robot. How about app of X1 and mopping pad of S7 when it is not heating? Most people say Ecovacs app is worst, but I do not see that in X1 ( exactly from T9 onwards, app have been significant improved). For S7's mopping pad, I hear that it's still ok, does not caused smell even it doest not have drying function.
@@sweetphuong1114 Hi Sweet. About app: the X1 app is good. I've not found any issue with the app itself nor with the map. Never had a mapping issue (i've the robot since about 15 days). The app is quick and do all what i need it to do. About heating function: this is a false issue. The X1 dries the mops quickly than the S7, but i clean the mops in the washing machine every 1 or maximum 2 clean sessions. So the S7 not drying the mops with air is not a real issue, at least for me. My Narwal robot also dries the mops, but with cold air. Anyway, washing the mops in a washing machine is ever a good idea to avoid any issue. Hope i answered your question well.

Ciao. Roborock. Lo trovi su Amazon.
If you forget to close the dirty water tank will the robot prevent itself from going out to clean again?
It goes out and cleans as usual, without returning to base for washing the pad. It behaves like the standard S7 without the base.

Dipende dal tipo di casa. Per la mia, che ha tappeti, è meglio il roborock.
How does it compare to Narwal Freo ?
I’ve never tested it

Yes, the T10, not the Freo. They are comparable in terms of cleaning, but the Roborock can also do vacuuming while mopping.
