There is one legendary that is so bad that almost everyone forgot it existed. It came out in the Boomsday project, it's a 4 mana Legendary. I forgot the name so badly, that I had to look it up. It's called Harbinger Celestia. Edit: holy crap did I sparked alot of attention on that card.
Exactly!! I was really surprised that he included Gurubashi Chicken and left out Harbinger Celestia. At least the Chicken has some sort of an OTK deck, but Celestia is utterly rubbish.
The only thing I remember about celestia is the my little pony reference. I'm pretty sure I've never actually seen it played, not even in a tavern brawl.
I agree with a lot of the stuff here, but I also think that you missed out on 1 particularly dumbest card: Gurubashi Offering. Like, alright, on EXACTLY turn 1 it's a 1 Mana gain 8 armor. But like, that's really bad game design, I think. It's like "Alright, here's this card, if you don't play it on turn 1 it's literally worse than Target Dummy." Hell, if you are going second, then there's a chance that an enemy's 1 drop plus a hero power could kill it EVEN ON TURN 1. I get that sometimes printing meme crazy cards is necessary, but the reward of this card being used optimally is too little, the downside of it not going off is too high, and the chances of it going off are so tiny that like... It's just hard to comprehend.
How can you mention Genn without mentioning good ole handlock? I'm also sad Mecha'thun and/or Hakkar didn't make at least honorable mention for looking trash but then being decent enough.
I think saying Hakkar is "decent enough" is a stretch. Hakkar saw play in the very early days of the expansion, because people like to meme around with the new cards at that point. I don't know the exact statistics, but I'd be surprised if any Hakkar deck boasted an >50% winrate.

I haven’t seen enough Baited Arrow to think that it’s that bad (Flanking Strike still seems like a more oppressive card), and Gurubashi Chicken is clearly meant to be a meme. It’s like dinging Amgam Rager or Baron Noggenfogger.
another thing is that you can merge gurubashi chicken with hunter's DK hero power - i know that usually you would want to go something heavier rather than to pick a 1 mana beast from one of your choises, so..... still, not a bad card, just a bad collection card (you would never use this very card in your deck).
Time out’s probably better compared to frost nova rather than ice block in terms of its effect; the difference being for the same mana one freezes all enemy minions for a turn, and one freezes all enemy minions, their hero, their spells and any other damage dealing effect. Couple that with the weapon syngery and it’s pretty clear why this card is probably going to have people tearing their hair out in the not too distant future
I liked the list and enjoy these kinds of videos in general, but i do feel like the format of the video should cover all of your picks for the greatest cards first, then all your picks for the most op, then all of the most stupid. This Standard year, more than any other, is a year that was dominated by cards from the previous year. This upcoming year will be the first time the Year of the Raven has an actual chance to stand on its own.
With the Jan'alai entry, that card that makes your hero power deal 2 more damage means that you could also potentially have to use it only twice or three times if you're lucky, making the card even more crazier.
Warlock card. Incubus. 1 Mana 2/3 discard a card Rogue card. Seccond slice. 1 Mana deal 1 damage to a minion: combo deal 3 damage Mage spell. Ice spray 1 Mana freeze 2 random enemies. Mage spell. Secret, icy runes. 3 Mana when your hero is attacked freeze all enemies. Put me in the design team coach, I did this in litteraly 10 secconds.
1. Dumb. It either sucks like Succubus (1 mana and 2 attack more) or it's oppressive because it's a high statted 1 drop which is unfun. 2. Although it can't go face it's bassicly a eviscerate that cost 1 mana less and deals 1 more damage and as a 1 mana card it's easy to combo so it will never deal 1 damage. Eviscerate cost 1 more and is comboed almost every time. And even though it's rogue's identity to have strong removal for few mana, rogue already has enough in my eyes. 3. Because it can also freeze your opponents hero, it relies on RNG too much of the time. Also it's just annoying and aggro doesn't even care that much if two low attack minions can't attack for a turn. And as a tech card against weapons classes oozes are just better. 4. Looks too much like a worse frost nova. Costs the same, does pretty much the same but is easily played around. That's why Blizzard doesn't print cards that are designed in seconds: they simply suck.
Incubus is vastly worse than flame imp in pretty much every way, until you put it in discardlock. Unfortunately discardlock has a convenient one-drop built into the deck, and if it doesn't play succubus it won't play the 1-drop version. Like Teun says... op op. Also, Bazookadin was theorycrafted in Wild and... didn't work out well. Paladin not having Kazakus nor a solid lategame board swing makes the control deck bad there, and the OTK is a little too finnicky and slow to assemble.
