Love your layout and all the special “little” finishes like the map, ceiling star, mountain shelf, compass on the bathroom floor and love the Moroccan tiles and door nobs and how they match with the colour of the paint you used. Do you live in your van full time or do you only use it for camping?

Hi Maria! The white panelling it's cut out from giant 5.5mm thick plywood boards and then painted white. The wood paneling is some 3mm thick oak strips backed on to plywood boards and cut to shape :)

Thanks Dee Dee, unfortunately we've sold the van now so I can't check exactly but if I remember rightly it was 90cm x 67cm, I was worried it wouldn't be big enough but it turned out to be more than enough :)

Hey! Thanks very much! Yes it was converted to a motorhome with the DVLA so it is possible to use the cab space as the dining area. As long as the table has a permanent place to fix to it's ok to use :)
Where would I get foil wrap like this? Is it sold under a different name is USA? When I look for foil wrap it shows me the one that is used for wires which would not be wide enough for this.
Hey Jean, I got it from amazon, if you search foil wrap insulation it should come up with a few options, I think mine was a roll of 50 metres which was more than enough :)
I absolutely LOVE your conversion! The little and not so little details are so creative and beautiful! Ye must be so proud of yourselves. I know ye have sold the camper now but would ye mind if I copy aspects of the design? I’m hoping to get a van converted in the next few months with the help of a carpenter. Hey C Walker, thanks! I believe it was the 6m version, seem to vaguely remember measuring it for the ferry. It was definitely the L3H2 if that helps

So you just had the toilet with the cartridge lue? Your bed sets lower than most, don't you have any adventure gear to carry?
Yeah, rolls out of the hatch underneath the fold out table. Haha and our adventure gear just requires a pair of shoes and Ernie the dog :)
