The only thing I've really learnt is that EVERY task takes at least THREE times as long to do as you envision. Perserverance (plus being safety-prepared for anything) is key to some type of success.
When you said you're going for a cottage style, I never expected it to look so amazing! 11/10. I can see you put a lot of thought into every single item. Forget dancing - you should become a interior decorator.

It's a rare gift to both have a vision and then be able to see it through to completion. What a wonderful and whimsical kitchen with so many ideas I can use. Its also a gift to be able to do that handstand...Respect!
The only thing that would worry me about using so much heavy timber in your build is that all the extra weight is going to mean a lot of extra fuel needed on the road. Given the current fuel prices and the amount of kilometres to travel (in Australia, for me) that would make it quite expensive. I presume you're planning to travel around the UK which, at least, doesn't have the same distance to worry about.

I always appreciate when DIY creators keep in the bits where they make mistakes, or where they're uncertain how to achieve part of a build and have to try a couple of approaches. That's so relatable, and seeing your project come together as a complete vision is a reminder that you don't have to be perfect to create something that in the end you'll love.

I really wasn't convinced by the chunky cupboard doors at first but when you put them in they looked so amazing!! from that point of the video I really understood your vision and the outcome of the kitchen is absolutely stunning! that's probably the most beautiful van kitchen I've ever seen

Agh yes so the electric/ gas / welding and plumbing and all things like that - I actually paid the pros to do it - (that felt like a step too much for me - though I’m always so impressed with others who do that themselves 😍😍😍.. but for me learning building and carpentry was a big enough challenge 😅 ) I’ll probs do a video on the systems I have , but no building ones of them I’m afraid 💕

You needed to put a clear varnish on the tree branch (its wood) (matte or gloss ur choice) to keep it from flaking and molding bt thats ok i guess😅 you could still do it just use a small brush to minimize dripping n mess

One thing I saw in a youtube short, is someone who outlined the edge of this electric box thing with chalk, took the piece of wood, and held it there. Smacking it so the chalk went on, and boom. Measured in an instant! Might be helpful in any other projects. Definetly would be useful for 8:01 lol

Love pallet wood myself. I’m all about the shabby chic look myself. It was great you were able to get some help! Your kitchen turned out so gorgeous. The sticks for shelving were a great idea. Overall it’s definitely something you can be proud of. The wood burning stove is the perfect touch. Now all you have to do is learn how to bake bread.
I love what you created. It is all magical. If you have done this for your bus, I can just imagine what you could create renovating a house. You video came into my feed so I watched it. What you created is honestly amazing, one of a kind. 😍 I loved it when you nailed your kitchen cupboard panel to the bus floor, and gave "us" the side eye, lol. 😂 Don't worry, I carried a half dead table home in the rain, from a neighbour far down our road, which was being sent to the dump. It had pieces that were rotting, it needed a high pressure washing too. It is a white slatted square garden table. I knew I could fix the cute square cafe table even though I had no idea how. 😂 I bought bits and pieces from the hardware store, and nailed a few things on backwards. Used glue, wood filler, paint, brackets, and replaced some wooden pieces. I just figured it out as I went. 😂 We learn, laugh, and grow from our experiments. So, I decided to subscribe and enjoy following your journey. It makes me happy to watch you creating and reminds me of when my best friend and I built forts above her cupboard in her bedroom. Her mother had built in cupboards built, which had concrete slabs up there. We were 6 or 7, having great fun using old tomato boxes as shelves for our arty supplies and things. We partitioned our fort in half, she had her section and I had mine with a curtsin inbetween. We had our blankets up there, and all sorts. Her brother pestered us because he was jealous and threw a shoe at us which we dodged. It broke her bedroom window and I believe we were not allowed to watch our favorite TV programme as punishment. 😂 My best friend lived next door to me. I am now 58, and we are still friends. Having an imagination and creating your hearts desire is what brings joy. 🦄🌈

Oh my word! I am in love with your inspirationalism, your cheeriness, your eye for individual style design, your good humour, your ability to up- cycle bits of everything- especially the wood pallets and thank you for making me chuckle whilst trying to eat my homemade vegetable and lentil soup( and almost choked myself). Haha. Thank you so much. I just wish I had all those power tools and knew how to use them. I use a rusty 25 year old saw, hammer, screws and a drill. That is all I have but I have managed to fix my fence with bits of wood that people were discarding. Next I am making a garden seat ( no back bit) out of pallet wood. Take care lovely lady. Firstly, having a vision and teaching yourself the practical skills to make that happen, shows huge depth of character, and that’s before we see how incredibly professional and perfectly on point your interior design skills are. Secondly, your camera work, editing and story telling ability is extremely high quality. You mentioned you’d been teaching yourself, so chapeau! As a professional dancer, your discipline isn’t in any doubt. a few years ago I looked after the physical health of a professional ballet troupe, and dear god, they were as hard as nails. I can remember more than one occasion where various members danced on fractured feet…”Just tape it up, and give me the painkillers…” I’m told you’re all like that. Anyway, you’re going to be huge. You needed to put a clear varnish on the tree branch (its wood) (matte or gloss ur choice) to keep it from flaking and molding bt thats ok i guess😅 you could still do it just use a small brush to minimize dripping n mess

One thing I saw in a youtube short, is someone who outlined the edge of this electric box thing with chalk, took the piece of wood, and held it there. Smacking it so the chalk went on, and boom. Measured in an instant!
Might be helpful in any other projects. Definetly would be useful for 8:01 lol

Love pallet wood myself. I’m all about the shabby chic look myself. It was great you were able to get some help! Your kitchen turned out so gorgeous. The sticks for shelving were a great idea. Overall it’s definitely something you can be proud of. The wood burning stove is the perfect touch. Now all you have to do is learn how to bake bread.

Don't worry, I carried a half dead table home in the rain, from a neighbour far down our road, which was being sent to the dump.
It had pieces that were rotting, it needed a high pressure washing too.
It is a white slatted square garden table.
I knew I could fix the cute square cafe table even though I had no idea how. 😂
I bought bits and pieces from the hardware store, and nailed a few things on backwards. Used glue, wood filler, paint, brackets, and replaced some wooden pieces. I just figured it out as I went. 😂
We learn, laugh, and grow from our experiments.

It makes me happy to watch you creating and reminds me of when my best friend and I built forts above her cupboard in her bedroom.
Her mother had built in cupboards built, which had concrete slabs up there. We were 6 or 7, having great fun using old tomato boxes as shelves for our arty supplies and things.
We partitioned our fort in half, she had her section and I had mine with a curtsin inbetween. We had our blankets up there, and all sorts.
Her brother pestered us because he was jealous and threw a shoe at us which we dodged. It broke her bedroom window and I believe we were not allowed to watch our favorite TV programme as punishment. 😂
My best friend lived next door to me.
I am now 58, and we are still friends.
Having an imagination and creating your hearts desire is what brings joy. 🦄🌈

Oh my word! I am in love with your inspirationalism, your cheeriness, your eye for individual style design, your good humour, your ability to up- cycle bits of everything- especially the wood pallets and thank you for making me chuckle whilst trying to eat my homemade vegetable and lentil soup( and almost choked myself). Haha. Thank you so much. I just wish I had all those power tools and knew how to use them. I use a rusty 25 year old saw, hammer, screws and a drill. That is all I have but I have managed to fix my fence with bits of wood that people were discarding. Next I am making a garden seat ( no back bit) out of pallet wood. Take care lovely lady.
