Would this work for 2013 Ford Fiesta SE I am getting a slow to no start. This has been happening for 2 weeks now and it comes and goes the no start is VERY random my mechanic has already cleaned all wires to the battery and all cables and wires that should be cleaned and I had taken for a spin and same thing happens slow to no start. So then he showed me a crack in the tcm and swapped it out for a new tcm without any damage to it and so far so good. Thank you for posting these videos btw WONDERFUL and EXTREMELY HELPFUL. Thank you.
If you are getting Tcm and Pcm codes on any car make and model, the first thing you wanna do Clean battery Terminals and check your battery if the battery is old, leaking acid or weak then change your battery it will fix your problem... Hoping It will help you...God Bless you.
Does anyone here happen to know how to get the rear windshield fluid to spry out again it stopped spraying out and just only the front windshield fluid is spraying out any ideas and I already know that it is not do to a simple blown fuse. Thank you very much helpful here.
@@joeschneider5599 It could be clogged nozzle ..you can clean it with with a pin, then use compressed air to blow the debris backward through the hose. If you hear the pump going but don't get fluid, you probably have clogged windshield washer nozzles.
Joe, I am currently having this problem w/my Fiesta SE. I am told the tcm takes months to get, it's on back order due to covid shipping slow down. I don't want to get a tcm on my own because I am still covered by warranty. Do you know something I don't?
I have a 2011 ford fiesta. I went on vacation and it was just seating on the parking lot for 5-6 days and when I came back and started it, gave a bunch of error like transmission malfunction and hill assist not available. I work on it for days and tried this, I also notice that the tcm pcm fuse popped so I changed that but it keep popping the 7.5amp fuse, so I put in 10amp fuse and it didn't pop anymore but the car still wouldn't start or even cranked. What are your thoughts? Thanks. I forget to mention that I put a new battery
ok so the car was good and when you came back it was cranking? and when you changed battery or fuse After that No crank No start??? dashboard lights are turning on when you turn the key to the on position?? it looks like wiring/electric problem brother...check your wiring harness ...and make sure that the battery you bought is not shorted ..you won't believe but I had a lot of problem with brand new batteries..
So I'm having a similar issue. I came outside one time and started my car which is a 2014 Ford Fiesta 1.6 it started up but popped the transmission malfunction code. I had the check engine light ran and it said batery voltage at first. Drove the car to the gas station and it died in park. Wouldnt turn over and it wouldnt shift out of park. Got the battery tested it was at a 12.3. So i changed the starter and it started. Went to drive it and it threw the same codes as Cas.
@@sarahtaffner4357 update: It is still in the shop, it already have a new starter and the mechanic said it is still doesn't start, he said he will check the alternator motor next...
Did it but my light came back on after driving it a while...but unfortunately I only got one of the bolts off to clear below the air filter...that might be why...

Bs
What do you use for cleaning those terminals. Coz my car is a fiesta too
White vinegar
Put a little di-electric grease too. Helps prevent future corrosion and gives better contact.
Does nothing...my problem is bigger may b

does nothing?
Once the TCM is fried there is no fix other than replacement. This is prevention for future issues.
